It`s inspires me!

Recently I watched a video of this man with autism who absolutely stuned an entire crowd.I was amazed by his voice! But more to know he has AUTISM!
It`s absolutely amazing! When listening, it touched my soul, gave me goosebumps and tears were flowing to see this moment in this young man's life.
It`s inspired me so much! Those who have disability can do things if others that do not have a disabilities can not do.By the grace and faith in God they can do it, if we give them a chance they can do anything!

And I was inspired MORE again by family who has a cute little boy named Noah yesterday! That is incredible what a wonderful work they do with their son!It is such inspiring and a blessing to see and know what God can do in lives of people!

I was so thrilled and happy to see it!

Noah's Dad Working to Change Down Syndrome Attitudes: MyFoxDFW.com

The website of this family is http://noahsdad.com/

Many months I cleck an idea in my heart.I think often and realized we need do something.I have a burden in my heart to spread the word about children with Down syndrome in mental institutions and orphanages where we minister. Employers know NOTHING about these kids! Than more I watch videos, read wonderful blogs about adoption of sweet kiddies, read information.Other words than more I learn about these special kids than more I realise we must to tell people about it in Ukraine! Yes, we tell our friends, church members etc. that these kids can be adopted, they can educate, even work,to live on their own lives or even marriage and many different things. You should see reaction of people! Really? Are you serious?

After watching this video my heart catch fire again.Than more I think and realise, than more my heart is beating.

I do not know HOW and WHEN.But we should to tell staff of orphanages and mental institutions.I have several ideas.Give information to staff of orphanages, show pictures, video of these special kids, have special meeting with them etc.We hope after hearing of information they will change their hearts and relation to these kids.We need to think over much, we need much wisdom, God`s hand and many prayers.

I have some idea but do not know or will it work out ...Time will show. :)

But one I know and I`m sure we MUST to tell people about kids with Down syndrome!People in Ukraine know nothing!

I was going to share it with you days earlier, just did not have a time. :)

Our journey of visitation

What a blessed visit of boys we had today!I`m so excited to share with you incredible our journey.

We are very happy come back to our regular visits of orphans after rest a while and vacation in several orphanages.I`m excited to see what God will do during our future visits of kids, what warm and sweet visits we will have, many hugs, happy faces, shining eyes of kiddies etc.

Before share with you of our visit I would like to tell a little information for those who do not know about these kids.

In this orphanage are only boys with autism, Down syndrome, mental retardation and other special needs.

We believe and see that many of the children are high functioning. But they are denied, non-verbal, does not know how to play, has food insecurity issues, multiple signs of institutional autism and is very poor developmentally. They have no toys or stimulation of any kind. With heaviest boys no one speak with them, only push them to go somewhere. They hear only commands. When they outside they are not allowed to play.Older boys told us today, they were not outside since as winter began.Even outside is very warm now and it`s unusual winter for Ukraine. Some boys can eat grass, dirt taken from floor. They are neglected. I should clarify that they are neglected intellectually. It`s very heartbreaking and sadly...We do as much as we can to bring them hope and our love.

We pray hard that God will change hearts and vision of caretakers and administration of orphanage about these kids. Will you join to our prayers? Will you plead Jesus to protect these boys from evil and from all negative things they receive in orphanage?Thank you!

God is good to us!We had such wonderful journey to boys! You have to see their eyes when they saw us!Wow!They began to run to us and hug so much! They were excited so much to see us again! It was something and so warmly! They asked why you did not come so long time, what happened etc? The last time we have been here with generally our program to all orphanages which had recently, about Jonah. Many of you I think remember how God blessed us by these visits to every orphanage where we serve. We were so blessed and thrilled!

Last time we have spoken with director and asked him to give us a bigger room to have Bible lessons if it is possible.Because in room where we had lessons with them before was very small and was real heavy physically. But we were ready to be in small room, even they would not give us a bigger room. We happy to have meeting with boys anywhere. So, director allowed us to have lessons in their dining room and it`s perfect place! What a blessing! We have plenty place and tables where they can make crafts etc.And more boys can to come there! We were so happy to have meeting here again!

We saw God`s hand and had several blessings at this time. Not just wonderful meeting but we had soooo many boys! And even caretakers could to be with us, hear Gospel and even help boys with crafts! We were so excited and rejoiced!
It was amusing, when small children have come to a room, they have sat down at the tables and have started to ask us, showing will they paint, or do something by their hands? How they were excited when we told them that we will do craft. :)

Here are pictures.Oh, we told to them Bible story about Tower of Babel at this time.

In the beginning we remembered Bible story about Noah and flood. And we sang a song about Noah. They so enjoyed this song!

 Aren`t they sweet?

Nadya is telling the Bible story

Boys helped to build tower from cardborad boxes.

After story we learn a new song, that name of the Lord is a strong tower. "The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe." (Proverbs 18:10) And they loved this song!

Here is video and next several pictures of game we played with them.We called it "to Build a tower". They needed to build a tower from paper bricks.I think,it was good game for them to find a difference size between bricks, because they were different.Boys should to find and start with biggest brick and finalize with smallest. They liked to build tower and did very good job! :)

Bricks of tower have Bible verse.(Jacob 4:6) "God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble."  But we learned it with them with bigger sheet. They did it very well!

The song again. :)
The next game, we made stickers. They needed to find empty place and stick correct picture.Boys did perfect job! They were so excited!

Well this cute boy is so small that needed our help to lift him up. Can you believe he is 13 years old!?

And in finale of our meeting we made a craft, a tower of Babel with Bible verse.Children liked their towers very much!We were so glad to see their happy faces and hear their positive emotions.

They were really excited to work on this project!Everyone was busy. :)
And even boys age of about 25-27 made crafts too!

Look at him how he is working hard.Is not he cute?

Boys wanted to make picture with their towers.

So, we decided to make a photo all of them.

How many towers! :)
With hearts FULL of joy and perfect feelings we came back to homes! We were happy and excited to see boys again! And as every time they ask, when you come back?..

Tomorrow(Friday) and after tomorrow we are going to have Bible lessons in 2 more orphanages. We would be happy if you will pray for our journeys.Thank you!

BOM on WHAS11.com

How about that? Bible Orphan Ministry is on WHAS11! Really I do not know what is that, but excited. :)
It`s excited and in same time so heartbreaking...So happy for a small girl who found forever her loving family!
And I read it again and again about condition of kids in mental institutions and orphanages. It seem that I`m first time there...I see, I know. But it is need to be unconcerned that to get accustomed to it...

Here are some parts of this article:

"Behind the Institution Gates
It's hard to estimate exactly how many special needs children are institutionalized across Ukraine. Some human rights workers estimate it could be in the tens of thousands. But not all come with proper documentation. And others are simply dropped off and abandoned.
Volunteers Misha Glazov and Alla Vasilieva have been visiting orphans -- special needs and typical children -- for years as part of their charity organization, Bible Orphan Ministry. For the special needs children, they are the only visitors most of them get.
Both Glazov and Vasilieva were sent to orphanages as young children and know exactly how these children feel. (It`s from me.I would add here my sister Oksana. She was in orphanage too.)  :)

When they drive up to a girls' institution for ages 5 to 35, the girls surround their van, pulling at them and their visitors for hugs, pictures. It is obvious both how much they crave attention and how little of it they get outside of these visits.
"All the time when we come them they say 'Mommy or Papa,'" Vasilieva said. "And I think that they understand and want to be in family."
At the girls' institutions, most of the girls and women have shorn hair. Their teeth are decaying or have fallen out. Most are covered in bug bites and scratches. Vasilieva explains that they often see the girls in the same outfit visit after visit.
They bathe about once a week.
One little girl with Down syndrome, named Masha, clings to her visitors. She looks to be about 3 years old, but is actually 7. Experts say this is a type of emotional dwarfism when a child neglected at a young age fails to thrive physically as well as emotionally.
But the conditions at the girls' orphanage were better than the boys' facilities ABC News visited.
There, the conditions ranged from bad to heartbreaking.
At one institution, where the smell of mold permeated some of the rooms and hallways, the boys sat and listened to Glazov and his ministry volunteers sing and tell Bible stories...

The caretakers told ABC News they were overworked and often overwhelmed. There are just two nurses for the boys during the day and just one at night. They admitted to giving the boys injections to make them sleep. At times the boys have been restrained with shirts and sheets.
Glazov and Vasilieva know exactly how bad these children have it. But even Vasilieva was stunned when she first saw the conditions.

At a third institution, again for boys and men ages 5 to 35, the reason so many Americans were rushing to file adoptions papers for children with Down syndrome became shockingly apparent.
One step into the main institution was met with a wall of sickening odor, the smell of urine and feces. Several boys were left to sit in a sparse room that consisted only of wooden benches lining the walls and thin blankets spread across the floor.

"First time I came to mental institution and I saw the children I was shocked," she said. "Because I live in Ukraine and I did not know about these children."
Though Vasilieva had been visiting children with Down syndrome for years, it was only recently that she realized they were capable of being educated.
"We thought they cannot study, they cannot have education and we knew that they're life is real hard, but we did not know we could help them," she said. "We thought they understand nothing."
The myth that Down syndrome is a severe mental illness and a scourge on society is an overwhelmingly common one."

If you want to read and know more. There story about family who adopted a small girl Mia and condition of kids in mental institutions.

Joy to abandoned ones

Well.I`m very happy and finally can share with you about wonderful visit of girls in mental institution we had recently. But first I would love to thank you for return and be faithful readers and followers of blog!We appreciate it very much!

God had blessed not only successful visit to girls but provided their physical needs too.We were so happy to bring them, with what God blessed us!

People donated clothes, gloves, shoes. Also we were able to buy chemical stuff and diapers.Isn`t amazing blessing?
Administration of orphanage were very glad and thankful very much!We pray we can help more with diapers. As there are 90 girls with special needs, years of age 4-35, they have a real big need with it.They necessary about 1200-1300 diapers for a month! That is a lot! Also they have a need with overclothes, winter coats, wintery jacket etc.

Next I would like to show you photos and videos what we could do there with girls.
First we had meeting with small ones.In this room were heaviest children from this group. The others could not be with us.We were upset a little.Reason because government officials arrived at this day.
And we understood that is not good for us to go to an orphanage when there is any official, because administration, children and staff are busy and can not be with us full time.We knew it before and never did.
But probably director forgot to let us know about it when we called to him, do not know. But anyway we had a wonderful time with kiddies and they were so and so happy! They were so impressed and excited by games and especially puppet show!
But God used our coming there, I will tell you little below. :)

After singing, puppet show and Bible story, we had several games with children.Hope you are not tired yet to see and hear about Jonah. :)  We have one more orphanage where we will go with this program tomorrow. And probably it is last orphanage with this program.

Puppet show. They were excited sooo much that even a small girl began to jump. And some of them clapped up hands.I love it! Is not sweet? How they are precious and adorable!

Next we taught kiddies to pass on a toy to the next one and to spin around themselves.Nannies were very sweet and they helped us with games. When they told us that some girls can not play at this game, they understand nothing. We said that is ok, even they will touch to a toy, that will be perfect. That was interesting, who understand nothing, as nannies told us, they could to play games too.

We try to break stereotype of staff and think about  children with special needs, by games, songs etc. That many of them understand many things.Yes, they can not do, because staff do not train them. But they are as all children, want to play, to learn, touch, try etc.

Yes, it is not easy but we do what we can.But most we are happy to see smile and impress kids! That they will be happy and bring a joy and love to them.To bring positive emotions to them and give our hugs.Because as many of you know, children in mental institution are forgotten and abandoned for survival...

After we did catch a fish.As many of you know this game already. They did real good! Girls were excited very much by game! And they loved stickers we gave to them.

A short video

Look how she is happy!

Puppet show again

Girls were so much impressed and happy!Oh, how they enjoyed by puppets!

Several girls did not have any reaction because they are blind...It is so heavy to see it and understand you can not help...I only ask oneself and pray, Lord, how we can help? What we can do to make easier their life? What we can do they will not suffer? What we can do to give a chance to live if only little better and give a wish to live?
I think being in this mental institution, where nobody hug or kiss you, where nobody tell you warm words, only yelling and reproaches, nobody spend time with you, someone take your hand and guide you somewhere do not explain, someone feed and wash you.You feel lonely and unwanted by sitting whole day on bench nothing  doing. It even words can not describe...I feel sometimes guilty that can not help...

In the end we could give candies and bananas to children. What a blessing was to children.

Also we could give candies and bananas to small kids who were not with us.Oh, how they were happy to see us!They had run to hug and kiss. And began to scream! It was scream of joy! :) They were excited so much!!!I even can not describe it by words! But we could not be with them for a long time because we needed to be with older girls, who waited for us.

Isn`t she cute and precious?I just want to hug her very much! :)

In next group for older girls we had all same games, song with gestures, very simple Bible story etc.And we had a wonderful time!!!

As we wanted that children take part in story too.We chose a Jonah. In group for small girls Nina helped us, such kind and smart girl. But in this group all (we know who can) girls hesitate to play a role.I would say they doubt or inadequacy than hesitate :(
So, we took Nina again. And she was happy very much to be Jonah again. She was in both groups.

We liked very much when they heard voices of sea-gull, whale and noise of the sea during story. They were soooo quiet and listened VERY attentively. It was such amazing and wonderful moment!!!

Here is a game where we taught them to pass a toy.

And the next game :)

Oh, how were happy girls when they hooked fish!It was something!
Olga is happy by her stickers.

Here we sing a song about Jonah with gestures. They like it!

Nina our helper, so sweet girl, she loved so much this song and to be with us that she tried to sing it and did not want to leave us.She is in the end of video in pink sweater. What a lovely girl. She is so kind, communicative and smart. We were amazed to see her ability. If I could, I would take her to home. But she is 18 years old.

During our time with older girls we had a blessing. We were going to one more group of kids. But director came into group and asked us to sing more songs. It was blessing that government officials could hear Gospel songs until they were there! Wow! Isn`t amazing officials could to hear about Jesus through songs?

In the end we gave chocolate candies and bananas to girls too.

It sadly was to hear that several more girls were transfered here.It is so and so sad and heartbreaking to know and see it...

But in same time, we had amazing and blessed time!We praise God!We would love to thank you very much for prayers! We are sure God bless us because many of you pray and lift up your hands of prayer and your hearts to Jesus and ask Him to help!Thank you!Just thank you to be blessing for us!
We very hope very soon to visit them again but it after New Year.

God loves them

Do you see this sweetheart and precious one whom pastor Misha is holding? Do you remember we asked you to pray several days ago for this small one who eat not well?
We pleaded Jesus to help this little girl.We are so thankful to you for your prayers and we are so blessed!God answered and sent to us a blessing just in time we could help this small girl! Wow! What a blessing!
"...for in thee the fatherless findeth mercy". Hosea 14:3(c) KJV

We could to buy a medicine what will help to her we hope to have a good appetite. We could buy pills what will be enough for several weeks! Also we could  help with diapers little.

We are so glad that God cares about orphans and we praise Him!We praise the Lord for his measureless love to these sweet treasures and adorable ones!

We could spend time with these small ones!Oh, what a blessed and amazing time we had! Children were so excited by games, songs, especially by puppet show!We were such happy to make this day special in their small lives and happy! They received sooo much positive emotions and exciting moments!

On this video you can see a game we played.Usually when we play at this game, children should to give a correct answer to question about Jonah.(While we have our travels, Bible program about Jonah to orphans during this month). Oh, yes we told them very simple Bible story about Jonah too. :) And they were soooo much amazed when whale opened mouth!!! They said: "I, I want too!" It was soooooo sweet! Many of them wanted to be Jonah too and hide behind of whale. It was so and sooo funny!

As these children with special needs and they are too small to give an answer and many of them do not speak. We just played a game and when music stoped, they should to turn oneself and pass on a toy to a next child.
They enjoyed to play!

Next game was loved by many kids, to catch fish.Oh, how they loved it and excited!
 Aren`t he cute?

As you remember we learn Bible verse by this game. But these kids are too small so, we just played. And when they caught a fish, they just tear away a piece of paper on blackboard. An one sweet girl when she got a present in this game. She caught a fish with gift. She not needed tear away a piece of paper but she saw children did it.They liked it much. And she said: "Where is my piece? Show me, I want to tear off too!" :)

Look at him, how he is happy!

The next video how they enjoyed and excited by puppet show. They loved it so much that asked puppets to sing more and more! Are not they cute when they clap of hands?

Oh, how they sweetie and cute when they sang a song! Aren`t they?I love to watch this video again and again!

This is not all.We have brought gifts to these small angels, toys and small cars.Oh, how they were amazed when they heard it!How they were excited! It was so funny when several girls wanted to get cars too!
Thank you so much Sabrina and her wonderful family, who has blessed these sweet orphans by so many toys! What a blessing to the orphans to receive and have their own toy!We were excited very much with our small angels, it seemed as we receiving these toys too! :)
Bible says: "Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep".Romans 12:15

We had such blessed and wonderful spent time with small ones!We thanks God, who has blessed these precious ones who has needs all time!We are so happy could bring if only little bit a Christ light, hope and love to these abandoned by parents kiddies. Please, continue to pray we will be able to help them in their needs!Thank you!

Visit of God`s treasures

It is such a joy for me to share with you all amazing God`s blessing we have! We could see and spent such wonderful time with God`s treasures whom we could to visit last week! They are such amazing creation who are needy love and care!Thank you so much for your prayers! We had such wonderful and amazing time with boys of special needs in mental institution! There boys who has Down syndrome, autism, cerebral palsy, mental deficiency and different mental disability. We had such excellent and  fabulous time with them!Boys were soooo happy spending time with them!

In the beginning when we arrived there, we have presented diapers to orphanage.God has blessed and we could to bless orphanage a little bit. These diapers are enough only for 2 weeks. We would be so happy if someone will donate that we can buy more diapers to boys, because there is very big need with it.They need big and small sizes.Or probably someone can send diapers to boys.We spent $50 for these diapers. We would be very happy to help them!
Also administration of institution asked us to help with chemical things. It can be be washing powder, shampoo, soap, gloves what protect hands from chemical sore, things what to help to wash well floor, dishes, etc.
Please, can someone to help with these things?Thank you!

Also they asked us to help with food. There is BIG needs with all these things!

Before spending time with boys, we gave candies and bananas to boys small and older who can not be with us at this time. And after that we could to be with other boys.

In the beginning we were with older boys.Small ones were taking shower at this time. And it was perfect time for us!While smallest were busy we could to be with older boys.

It was such blessing when they were sitting so quietly! We were amazed and praised God!

This nice boy helped us to tell a Bible story to children. He is so smart and very kind!

We learned with them a new song. They did gestures very well.Boys love so much guitar! They really enjoy to hear it and they show by their hands how they "play" on guitar. It is so nice and sweet!
After that we could to play, catch our fish.Dear friends you should to see their shining eyes how they were happy to play this game!!!How they smiled and laughed! Really, they were sooo MUCH impressed! We even did not expect this simple game will bring so much positive and active emotions!Wow! We were so much impressed to see them so happy!

Lokk at him!Is not he sweet?

And in the end we gave to them candies and bananas. We are sooo thankful to the Lord, He has blessed and we could to bring these sweets to them.Thank you Jesus!

Next meeting was with smallest ones.Oh, how they so sweet! It is such blessing to be with them!We had perfect time with small kids too!I would love to hug all of them and give my love to each one! They are so thirsty fellowship with folks!!! When they saw us, they were so happy! And we were happy not smaller than they. :)

It was so funny when we heard how older wanted to be with us, when we were with small ones at this time. They wanted to be with us again and again and again! Is`nt wonderful?

Boys  applauded when puppets sang. :)

And they listened of Bible story so attentive! It was such blessing!

Look at these next several pictures. There how boys are hungry of touching, hugs, holding their hands. While boys listened story, others just wanted to receive a love by holding their hands or just hug them.It is so sweet and heartbreaking in same time to know boys do not receive hugs, love and attention.Caretakers do not hug them, do not play, do not give to them attention. And they can not do it, they only do their work...But these boys are precious God`s treasures.
God gave them life and we should to love them and give our attention as much as we can. They are creation of God about whom we must to care and pray.God so loved the world, that He gave his only beggoten Son.God teaches us His amazing, wonderful and sacrificial love.

Some boys asked us stroke their heads.Oh, how they need attention and so little that to feel beloved...

And we played with small children too.Oh, they were excited not smaller than older boys! They loved soooo much to catch fish! They all got so many positive emotions! It was such wonderful time!!!

Look at this sweet boy.Isn`t he happy?

Look at Oleg how he is happy! He is so smart boy!We are sure he mustn`t be there, at this orphanage! He speaks and understands everything very well!

Sergey so sweet, quiet, clever and so kind boy!It is so heartbreaking to see his disabled hand. But he is very talented to do something by his hands!

Oh, yes! Many of them did not know how need to hold fishrod, they needed our help. Some of them needed to keep, as they wanted to turn over all water. It was very heavy to hold them. That is not surprise because they are hidden there from people and do not know how need to behave...

And several of boys we needed to hold because Misha our head could not play on guitar.I took boy`s hands and sang with him with gestures, make him busy. And it helped, praised the Lord!

But some boys just wanted you held his hands and sang together with him.Is not a blessing?Look at boy who is singing with Nadya together. It is so and so sweet!!!

In the end we gave to these children, bananas and candies too.

Also we could to visit kids who are heavy most of all. Most of them are here on their bed all day long, doing nothing. They get fresh air only at nice and warm weather, most on summer time. But when it is cold, they do not go outside. Can you imagine their life?Lying in beds all day long, nothing to do, do not breath fresh air, nobody visit, nobody hug you and tell warm words, only hear yelling at them? That is more than terrible!!!

But there are few boys whom we could to take them and spend time.We had puppet show here and game.

Did kids were happy?Absolutely!!!
We had very nice time with them too. With several boys we could to play, holding them on our arms, hug, gave our attention and everything we could give them. So, sorry we do not have pictures.Because it is very heavy to make picture when you are playing with them.:) But we were such blessed to be with them! And they were exciting our time too!

When we told them goodbye, they asked us will you come back, will you come again? When you come?Ah, it is so heavy to hear it!!!We will  miss them so much and it breaks our hearts...

Also we could see and find out sadness moments what is heartbreaking and hurting. It is so and so sad...

Do you see this sweet boy?His name is Misha. This picture was taken 5-6 years ago.He was such kind boy, all time wanted we hug him. Not one time he flew to our director Misha that he hug him and cried all time: "Misha!Misha!" He wanted so much to receive a love and gave his love to us too.

Now he so looks
last times we noticed he changed much, he began to be not actively as before, he flew to us not often as before, he is sitting on bench so quietly. We asked ourselves often something happened. Why his behaviour changed? What is with him?
It seems that he began to undergo degradation. At this time we asked a caretaker about him.It was shock for us to hear that. Now I`m typing and my eyes are wet.It is so heavy and heartbreaking. This sweet boy lost his eyesight ...and he does not see any more. And we understood why his behaviour changed. It is so sad.I even can not imagine how is horrible his life!!! It was awful before but after he became blind it is more worst!Oh, no...

We ask you please pray for these sweet boys!Pray God care in His arms, they feel love.Pray for their health and their needs. We pray and plead God to help these poor boys, to have better health. Please, God help them!..
