Seeds of heart

As usually we could to visit orphanage which we visit regularly every Saturday.God blessed and we had a wonderful day with children!
As all time one part of team Sasha and Lyuba could to be with teens.They sang songs about God, Sasha told them about guiltyness.Often we people do something wrong in our lives or in lives other people.After we feel guilty, do not have a piece in heart.Here is just one way, will ask Jesus forgive for a sin and give a piece in heart.Also children played games and had fun time.

In this time other part of team was with younger children.The class was full.We do not have enough chairs to sit.So, sometimes children sit on floor or school-desks.
The topic of lesson was  What seeds of heart we have?Do we have good or bad seeds?

                            Nadya showed to children different kind of seeds.

Children were interested to see kinds of seeds.Some of them never saw seeds of lemon and different fruits.

After that children played a game.And Nadya told to them a Bible story about meeting Joseph and his brothers.Joseph had good seeds in his heart because he forgave his brothers for evil they did for him.Children love this story!
If we have good seeds in our heart.There can will grow up a tree what will bring a good fruits of Spirit for God`s glory.We have to care about our heart to have good seeds.It help to be our heart soft, good,compassionate, sacrificial, care about others, not to be selfish, friendly, forgive everyone who did to you any evil, lovely  etc.
If we do not care about our heart.There will grow up a tree with fruits which will have bad seeds.It makes us unhappy, no piece in heart, no joy, no forgiveness, agressive, revenge etc.
It is so important to care about our heart before the Lord!It helps us to be happy in our life!

                                                 In the end of lesson  children made craft.
We are glad to be with them each time!We are glad to tell them about alive God Who loves them and cares about them!We are glad to do what we can.It is a blessing for us!We have many visions and desires about these orphans.We just pray and ask the Lord to help them.We have a wish to make their life more bright and sunny, more colorful and happy!Maybe some day God will answer our prayers that to help these kids in their needs???...

Bible lesson to abandoned girls

We were able to visit girls in orphanage what we visit regularly.There are 90 girls.We had very and very nice time!We sang few songs, told to them Bible story about Abraham and Lot, played several games and made craft.Usually half of orphanage comes to Bible lesson.It`s about 40-45 children.At this time we had more than 45!Praise the Lord!
Most of them are elder girls.We would like to be with youngest also but we are not able right now.But we have a plan and vision about these orphans too.It is really hard as we have a small team who can visit them regularly.Please, pray about us!

                  Some children were sick.We could to visit them and gave candy.

The girls in this orphanage have Down`s syndrome, oligophrenia and mental retardation.There are girls age 6-35.The half of them speak very bad, have different illness, most of them can not read, do not know numbers.The teachers teach them but the program here is very and very poor.
After they come up age to 35 they transfer to mental institution for adults and live there to the death.A mental institution for adults is worst place for people!People live there like animal! :(
These girls do not have future, they can not study in any college or school, they can not have a family, they do not have hope.Parents who leave children here visit very seldom.So seldom that a child does not want to see their mom or dad.Also some caretakers beat them and maltreat.

 We saw like one employer grasped a girl on her hair and pulled her.She called her not good words and pushed her.It happened just because a girl did not comb her hair.Yes, she is mental sick, it`s must to remind her but  not pull her hair!It is awful! We know the black sides of orphanages about what we can not say here.But when you see it your own eyes.It result you to a shock! These girls are abandoned, unprotected and vulnerable...

The religion can not change your life.Just relationship with alive God, Who is Jesus Christ  can give you hope, future, piece and change your heart forever.  It is a reason why we give Christian literature and witness employers of orphanages and mental institution about Jesus. Just Jesus Christ can change their hearts, make soft, good and give a love to these special children...
Please, pray for these children...

How they are precious!

Last Saturday our team was able to visit orphanage what we visit regularly every Saturday.

We are sorry we post it is so late.We were very much busy with different things in ministry during last few days.:)

We had very nice time with children!

As all time we divided all kids of orphanage to 2 groups. Sasha and Lyuba had meeting with elder kids.

Sasha reminded them about God.We have to walk before Him in pure and clear our Christians life.

Also they sang songs about God and have played different games.They had fun time!More than 25 teens came to this meeting.

In this time Oksana, Nadya and Alla had meeting with younger children.

In the beginning of the Bible lesson we congratulated our children who had Birthday last week.

 

   Oh, how they were happy!It`s just very simple toy.Children very and very glad to get any toy! 

Several boys almost were weeping that they did not get toys.They came closer to us and asked.Do you have a toy for me?

Really it is heartbreaking to hear it.It is hard to watch in their eyes and adorable faces which are waiting that you answer to him.Oh, yes! I have a toy for you too!

But it is more hard to answer to them.No, dear.We do not have any toys...You look in their eyes and see how tears comes up.

Did you know that orphans do not celebrate their Birthday in orphanages? Did you know no one do not present to them gifts? Did you know they do not have Birthday cake,candy or any sweets to eat in their special day? Did you think ever they do not have a party with their friends that to celebrate their special day?

We are not able to buy a new gifts.We ask all our friends, folks, no matter who to present toys to orphans.We got a some.Yes, it`s not new toys, some need to fix or wash it that look good.But children are happy very much to get it!

Very often when we just come into a class in orphanages .They start to say who had a Birthday last week.So, they wait any present or toy!

Right now we have just a several toys.Next week we will not have toys to make a present of to children.

Maybe you have at home some old toys what your child do not play or does not like.Maybe you have any toys have forgotten on garret or attic?Please, help orphans to make them happy in their special day!If only it`s old but in good condition.Children happy to get ANY toy or gift!Can you to help in it?...Thank you!

During the lesson we have played games, listened the Bible story about Joseph and his brothers, sang songs and made craft.

 

Here are our heros of Bible story.They were playing characters of this story.It was fun to them much!They were glad and excited!

 

 

Here children dress on Joseph his new nice clothes. There was hidden a Bible verse which they had to find and learn together.
We divided all children to 6 groups, there were about 40 children.Everyone were busy.

             Children made a craft in the end of the lesson, Joseph is in his new coat of many colors.

 

This is special girl.It was very hard to catch the interest of something she would like to do.

It is very sad but she has some mental illness. But this time she was interesting to color and even to make a crafts.Praise the Lord! She is defenceless and in same time sweet like kitten .Is  not she adorable!

We glad we could to see this sweet and adorable kids!We are glad we could  told to them about God again, about His Word. We are glad God gives us opportunity to see them and bring if only a little light to their lives.

A 10 Egypt`s plagues

Last Friday some part of team could to visit orphans and had Bible lesson.The topic of lesson was The 10 Egypt`s plagues.In Bible this story is in Exodus 4-11.

It was very interesting to watch how children listened this story attentively.When Nadya told this Bible story, children helped her also.The class was Egypt. Children placed difference plagues  everywhere.

                            We did origami frogs.It was second plagues.

Masha agreed that Nadya will color her skin of red macules. It was sixth plagues.It was fun much when children have seen it!

During lesson children have played games and made a craft. 

This time we made locust from clothes pins and chenille stems.Children colored clothes pins and add at the top of it a Bible verse,what we printed and what they learned on lesson.
"I, [am] the LORD; and beside me [there is] no saviour." Isaiah 43:11

                                                 Children rejoiced of this craft!

We had very nice time with children!We are thankful to the Lord for each moment to be with them!

Amazing day with boys with special needs!

WOW!What an amazing day we had on Wednesday with boys with special needs who are in mental institution.
We had so blessed time with children! We divided all children to two groups younger and elder children who understand a little bit something.We sang songs, played on guitar, used puppet show, told them very simple Bible story, colored pictures and just played with children.
We had very and very nice time with children!

Also in this mental institution are children who does not understand many things, they do not pay attention on you.They are need just love and care.
It is heartbreaking place...Just tears and tears ...

Usually here we use puppet show, sing songs, play on guitar and tell a Bible story in very simple way.But this time we did not have much time for some reason.
So, we just sang songs and gave sweets to children.

 

Nobody hug them, do not say warm words, nobody play with them... They feel lonely...They do not speak, one boy here is blind, some see not good, some are deaf.All they do, they sit on beds during day. Their life is awful...Can you imagine it?

                                                         

Please, pray for these lonely and abandoned children...

Also we could to help a little bit.We bought diapers and soap powder.

Seminar for children with special needs

We are so blessed!God gave us opportunity to be on seminar for children with special needs on Saturday.This seminar was in Kiev and names "Signs and speech". It was conducted by the charitable organisation Down syndrome.
The 2 nice lady from Sweden Katarina Lindberger and Anneli Tisell came to Ukraine.They both have children and each of them have boy with Down syndrome.  They came to seminar to teach and explain about signs.How we can communicate with children who have special needs.
About 35-40 people came to this seminar.Most of them are parents who have children with special needs.

The seminar was lead by Anneli Tisell – the director of the Swedish publishing center “Hatten Förlag”, specializing on release of training materials for development of speech of children with the limited possibilities. Anneli also is the author of the book «Signs and speech», translated into Russian, and mother of 13-year-old Nils with a Down syndrome.The redactor of this book is Katarina Lindberger.

As Anneli speaks:
«The reality surrounding the child frequently is perceived by it as a certain medley of impressions. Events proceed very quickly and it is difficult to child to understand that he sees and hears. We simultaneously show something and we speak. The child with the slowed down development needs to help to learn to understand impression. Using signs, we also do it. Gesture function – to underline speech. By means of gestures you allocate the main sense of speech. The child perceives your words accompanied by gestures, also as you perceive the text in which the most important phrases are underlined. One of the major functions of gesture – to force the child to participate in conversation. Gesture – draws attention of the child, promotes concentration of attention, provides effect of participation. When you use gestures, it is possible to transfer sensations of the child as« I understand that occurs ».

At a seminar were discussed such questions, as:
- Signs and speech - the communications tool;
- Researches and the facts;
- Formation signs environments;
- How and when it is possible to define that the child needs gestures;
and many other things.

We have taken out a lot of practical and the helpful information for the further work with children.The seminar was very interesting and informative.We are so glad we could to be there and got new knowledge about special kids!

We are glad we can use these knowledge in our ministry.Of course, it is real and real hard. Thise information you can use just to few children 1 or 2 but not for 80 or 40 in one time! We will try to do the best we can!
We need God`s wisdom! :)

Special Project

Each year we have a special project for the graduates. Each year thousands of orphans leave the orphanages in the age of 15-16 years old. When they leave the orphanages they have nothing, no bed`s clothe, no kitchen utensils, no spoons, no forks, no dishes, no saucepans, no frying pans, no teapots. They did not need all those things when they lived in the orphanage. After they leave they start to live absolutely alone. They suffer a lot and have many troubles. Can you please help us to help these orphans? It is a real BIG blessing to help them! We have about 81 kids.

The smallest amount we need $3.750 to help them to buy bed`s clothes and kitchen utensils.Please, help orphans in their needs...

A story about Moses to orphans

The next day Friday we were able to visit younger orphans in an orphanage. We had nice time with children! 

In this day we could  told to them a Bible story about Moses. Exodus 1-2:1-10.We told to them God can protect them from evil like He saved Moses in river.During lesson children could to play some games, learn Bible verse, listen Bible story and have made a craft.

Here boys played a game.Who first will win to drink milk. After we told to them Bible story about small  baby, how God saved him by miracle method.

After Bible story children played a game.We called it "Which princess first will find Moses".A mother of Moses have hidden doll Moses.Princesses have to find him. Every girl dreams to be a princess.They enjot it in this moment!

 

 Here children had to unriddle a rebus that to learn a Bible verse "The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul." Psalms 121:7 

We divided them to small groups.Each one was busy.

Children loved much this game! We divided class to 2 groups.They lifted up their hands and had to pass to each one a basket with baby Moses in their team.Their hands it was a river. They enjoyed much when their team had win!

The first meeting with teens orphans

  God is good to us! Thank you for your prayers! We were worry some about first meeting with teens orphans in K. orphanage. God blessed we had great time with children last Thursday!
We thought to have meeting just with elder children, age 13-15. But other younger children wanted to be on this meeting. How we can say no? Of course any who wants to hear about Jesus Christ, you are welcome!So, we had in class about 25 children.

  We sang songs, have played difference games and talking about God.We decided to tell them about God.Where is God,where He lives, where we can find Him, how He shows Himself to people, His characteristics and many other questions about God.
When we told them about characteristics of God, we have played like a game during meeting.When we told about some characteristics of God we have placed a puzzle on board. In the end it was like heart of God.
Also children love a guitar.They asked us more and more to sing songs together!It was really great!

In the end of the meeting children could to eat some cookies and drink sweet water.They all  enjoyed it!

Everyone was glad of meeting!We are so thankful to the Lord for opportunity to visit these orphans and tell to them about God, about salvation, about His love, about hope, future and etc.

The meeting with orphans

This Saturday we all team were able to visit orphans in an orphanage. We had a blessed time with children!
Sasha and Lyuba had meeting with elder children age 12-16.They told them a Bible story about 4 friends who brought their sick friend to Jesus Christ. Mark 2:1-5 . Sasha taught and explained to children about friends.Which friend has to be, how to find a good friend, how to spend a time with him and etc. After that children have read this story in Bible.And in the end of meeting they had fun time, played games . We hope orphans will remember this lesson and that will help them to find good friends in their life.

In this time second part of team Nadya, Oksana and Alla had meeting with younger children age 6-11. The topic of lesson was falsehood.That falsehood is sin before God.
In the beginning we congratulated a one girl with past Birthday. The girl was happy to got a Birthday toy.

Before we told them Bible story we showed to children a little puppet show. About small mouse. How it was temptation for it to eat cheese in mousetrap. We explained to children sometimes is temptation to say a falsehood to any person, it is a sin before God.It was funny much when mousetrap did not snap into action in time.  :))) The children were laughing much!They loved this small mouse!Here a short video

After we have learn a new song, listen Bible story about Jacob, played games and in the end of lesson children made craft.

This time children made craft camel with clothes peg.They love it much! It was good attempt for children to know how to use clothes pegs. Many of them did not know how to use it.
Some children could not believe that the clothes pegs it is forever to them and after they can use it how they want. They were enjoying it so much! They were so glad of it! Children have asked us several times.Is these clothes pegs for me forever? Some children asked us several more clothes pegs. We did not have any more. And we said so, sorry, we gave all what we had.

We had full class about 40 children. We did not have a place enough to sit and color that make craft. So, each one were sitting where found a place, even on the floor.

We were glad to see these adorable and gorgeous kids again! We are glad we able to visit 3th in succession 3 orphanages during few days where we could to see children, spent time and brought a little joy in their life.:)
