Long-suffering Job

Well.One more awesome Bible lesson we had with kiddies last week.It was such and such blessed time by the Lord Jesus!Oh, my!There were so much thrilled emotions, joy, smiles, happy souls.

Before Bible history we had an object lesson. At first children needed to inflate a balloon that symbolized the person.

While the balloon is inflated, the person is full of  pleasure, enthusiasm, hope. Then different unexpected difficulties come.Children let out a little air from a balloon.

We can easily live and with hope - just as a balloon, even then when our day is overshadowed by unexpected problems.

 Then children tried to inflate a balloon in a plastic bottle that is unreal and it is very heavy.It symbolized that during difficulties there is pressure and it is difficult, the person almost loses hope.

  It was very amusing to look kiddies diligent tried to make it. :)

But the solution and a way always is - Jesus Christ! We asked children how we can lift a jar up by means of our tired balloon, but not lost hope the balloon? Children gave different options.Then we inflate a  balloon in glass jar and the jar will rise over a table.

There are unforeseen difficulties and we are upset and we fall into despair. But the hope encourages us. Then, when all seems to us impossible, God shows us a way, granting hope, which not ashamed.

Children tried to inflate their balloons. It was so joy for them!

If was ever on the earth a person, who had reasons to lose hope, it was Job. But he not gave up but hoped for God.

After viewing of the animated cartoon, children played game, we called "Bring an animal to Job". Where everyone  had to find the animal (oxen, sheep, camels or donkeys) painted on a sheets of paper and to bring to Job. Wins, who made it the first. 

Thus we learned what animals Job had.It was so and so fun!

After studying of the Bible verse,"...the LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD" (Job 1:21),  we had very special time. 

When children did a craft-sandwich and could eat it.The craft was ox or cow. As at this story Job lost his oxen. "And there came a messenger unto Job, and said, The oxen were plowing, and the asses feeding beside them, And the Sabeans fell [upon them], and took them away." (Job 1:14-15(b))

In one of orphanages we already held the same meeting recently and children were such happy! We couldn't find a craft of Job that would be easy and interesting to our sweet kiddies. Long thinking and praying the idea came, to make this craft -sandwich.

It wasn't easy to cut everything and to prepare for 40 precious souls.As we are full time busy. :)

 But at that time, we were so excited with the only from thought what a great joy it will bring to our beloved ones.

 And at this orphanage children were amazed simply! When we just showed the craft, they cried out, wow! wow!They sooo rejoiced and could not wait when we start to do it. :)

Vova, (supported teen by BOM) helped to kids.By the way, he is much better and should be at home soon.Thank you for prayers!

 Also kids cried out, bring such "craft" more often! And everyone wanted to make picture with their cute craft. :)

They were overjoyed and it was soooo awesome blessing!

It was very fun and so blessed time with these precious souls.It was so awesome blessing to see their happy faces, shining eyes and so much delight!Thank you Jesus for this great blessing!!!

About Jonah to orphans

Dear Friends, God is doing just amazing things here! I`m so excited to tell you but in the next posts. :)

My soul sings and exults! I have very much to tell you.Therefore return here soon. :)

But here I would like to tell you about a lovely meeting that we had last week with children.

We so rejoice of each meeting and possibility to tell to orphans about the Lord, about His love, about great Bible heroes and wonderful miracles that are described in the Bible, in this amazing book.

This time we had a possibility to tell to precious orphans the Bible story about the prophet Jonah. About that as he tried to run away and hide from the Lord and what as a result turned out.

After we recalled last stories by means of pictures (they made it perfectly), we studied with our dear ones the song about Jonah with gestures.

As the craft took time a little more, we decided to divide into two parts. Therefore in the beginning they colored  by color pencils of the Jonah and scissored out. The picture was double-sided therefore children also spliced it among themselves.

I think it was a good preparatory part to the main. Then after telling the story and animated cartoon viewing, we played game to  reinforce knowledges.

They very much liked to fish! Each fish was numbered. Which fish they will catch, on that question and responded.

They were very excited!!!

Between fishes were also a crab, starfish and a crawfish. Nadya  excellently explained a distinction between it and difference.

Then we studied the Bible verse."For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments."(1John5:3(a))KJV
 Jonah didn't obey of God in the beginning and escaped from Him as many of you know this wonderful story. Therefore God wants that we showed the love to Him obedience and execution of His commandments or judgements.Children know, if you love God, you shall to conform his commandments . :)

After that we repeated with them song already learned in the beginning and continued the second part of the craft.

Here it was necessary for our kiddies the Jonah that they scissor out before, to place in the middle folded double a tracing-paper and to splice edges. Then to scissor out two parts of a whale from construction paper (we printed before), to place Jonah in belly of the whale and the edge to splice among themselves.

Thus the Jonah was in belly of huge fish and could move. Children were simply delighted and are much impressed! "Look, my Jonah can move in belly of the whale", they cried out. :)
They loved very much this carfts!!!
Also on the craft, there was verse that we learned.

Orphans in orphanages got used, what they do all at lessons(any project), they leave it to the teacher. Some children started to come for the first time to Bible lessons this year and couldn't believe that they can take away this project with themselves and it doesn't need to leave to teacher. "Really? Wow! I can take it with myself!" Joyfully jumping, kids cried out.

Do you know that orphans lay down the crafts under pillows and to sleep with it??? They know that it belongs to them and that is why they enjoy projects.

At the end of meeting we congratulated those who had Birthday, having reminded that the Lord remembers them special day even if all forgot about it. Oh, how they were glad and excited! You would see their shining and happy eyes!

Precious kiddies that only started come to our meetings couldn't to believe that this gift belongs to them and they can enjoy it. "Really? Is it right? I can leave it to myself?" It was necessary to convince long of that, it is gift from Lord Jesus and from this day belongs to them. I think that some of them for the first time in life received these gifts... "Yes! It`s amazing! Yay! I have a gift!" They cried out with delight.

"Wow!That is so beautiful car!"

Sasha kissed and huged us hundreds times! "Look! Look everybody at me!I have a goldfish!" He was simply amazed and so impressed with the gift! So sweet kid. ;)

It was probably the most surprising part of our meeting. Children were so impressed with the gifts. O, my goodness!They jumped, shouted, rejoiced, showed each other their blessings.It was so sweet and heartwarming to see and hear their admiration.

PRAISE THE LORD!!!!That He grants so MUCH pleasure, joy and delight to the poor orphaned children, deprived of all this.

Visits of orphans

Thank you!Thank you!Thank you for all your donations and prayers!God is so good!We raised all necessary sum $825 to help precious teenagers in their needs.We are so excited!We are so happy to bless them! Praise the Lord!!!

But here I would like to share with you about visits of orphans we had lately in different orphanages.It was so remarkable and amazing time with all children!We were very excited and enjoyed our spent time.God wonderfully blessed our visits!!!

In this orphanage we had a special program where we spoke about friendship.What the Bible speaks about friends, which we should be friends etc.And Jesus Christ is the best and remarkable friend!

We had a Bible history about David and Jonathan's friendship.

Then children had a possibility to learn to shoot from bow. As always was a lot of desirous :)

Also children received candies in the end of program.

At some of days, we had a Bible lesson about the prophet Jonah in the next orphanage.Children very much like this history!
Here we learned the new song about Jonah.

Aren`t they just cute? These two sweet cuties are sisters.The older one helps to her younger sister, who got to the orphanage this year at the first class. So, sad to see when if a child from an one family get to orphanage.Then the next sister/brother became older, get to same orphanage or into another one. And it worst because brothers and sisters can not see each other sometimes by years...or lose one other forever. :(

The craft is whale with Jonah. Kids loved it very much and excited to make it!

 

We got tired very much.And at the end of this day there was very beautiful sunset. And I simply could not that not to make a picture. ;)

Also the Lord gave the chance to us to visit these small sweeties and to share with them our joy and love.

They all were so much excited by received candies!

Also wanted just simple warm hugs...

One boy so loves our brother Misha and he was so glad of the meeting that presented to him this small gift, a piece of the paper.What the orphan can present deprived by everything and not having a personal things? It just melts your heart.But in this small piece of the paper, all his big heart, kindness and love. Children's simplicity and open heart to love and receive love...

Ok.I have to finish.So sorry.It`s very shortly because of a lack of time. Tomorrow we are going to next orphanage. To visit our beloved ones and share God`s love with them as well.Now is 3.00am almost.I need to rest ;)

One more meeting

I LOVE these precious smiles!Aren`t they cute and sweeties?Ah, we so love these darling souls.

The Lord gave the chance to us to conduct with them one more Bible lesson, telling about God's miracles and his care of his children. This time we told them story about Elijah how the Lord used him and made many surprising miracles/(1 Kings 17-18)

I told you early here that we made a puppet a raven who was a guest(in other orphanage) and told to children about Elijah, as ravens fed him.( 1 Kings 17:4) It was such joy to children at this orphanage too!

All of them so attentive and with amazement listened to what our raven Karkarona (her name) told. It was amazing and such wonderful moment! All children listened and looked at her with delight, in fact she was our guest. ;) Kids wanted to pet her and were soooooo excited!They LOVED her!

As the puppet of raven drew attention of children, it was easy to tell a remaining part stories about Elijah, what Nadia and made.It was awesome time!

Then we played game, "feed Elijah". One part of children hid slices of paper meat where the Bible verse was written and which we studied then. Other part of children, which were in a role of ravens, shall find this meat and bring to the protagonist of the Bible story, by other word to feed him. We had Nadia as prophet Elijah.

Kids were so much excited to play this game!They were so thrilled they should to find something.As they love to hide and find!The game was excellent too!

Look at this sweet boy how he is happy that he found this piece of the meat.

Then children did a raven craft. So that saved time at lesson and children weren't soiled in black color, we ourselves painted paper plates by black color, before going to this orphanage. It was necessary to paint 70 pieces. It simplify much more work of children. They should paste only a beak of raven, where it held the Bible verse that we studied. Also to paste wiggle eyes. Oh, how they simply adore, when eyes move at their crafts! And with help of brads to attach wings to raven, that it could "fly".

They were SO much excited to make this craft!And especially that it can fly!

At the very end of a meeting we congratulated who had birthdays. Oh, how they were glad to gifts! Before the lesson began, children already hurried to tell that they had a birthday. Some children asked:" Will you congratulate me and present a toy to me when will be a birthday in 3 or 4 months?" 

Many orphans wait these gifts for some months forward! Please send toys, cars, whatever you can.., that we could congratulate them. It is a special day in life of each child. You need to see their admiration and such pure joy when they receive them!

Our desire to make their special day, at least a little more joyfully and absolutely another from all common and gray days their lives. Please, remember that nobody congratulates orphans, and they so wait for a gift...Thanks!

 

 We had such great and wonderful time with these kids.

Well.With these souls, dear to our hearts, we can meet not soon... They go to homes on summer vacations. They go there, where for them don't wait, where they aren't loved, where they can meet an evil and violence, misunderstanding and humiliation.It so sad and breaks our hearts that here on the earth, they simply are necessary to nobody, lonely and thrown... Please pray, that God keeped them from any evil and troubles.Pray that they saw the God's hand in their lives, love and his care.Thanks a lot!

Talking about Joshua

Finally I can share with you the last meeting we had last week, on Saturday.As I promised before to tell you what we did there with children.Just want to let you know.We visited several orphanages this week too.We had such blessed and wonderful time with kiddies!I have so much to tell you!But really I do not know when I will do it, because it is very heavy to find a time for blogging and being busy here. :)
But I love very much to share what God is doing here, in ministry and personal life of BOM!I love very much to witness to people about great things God is doing, because only He worthy of praise, honor and glory!And I`m really exciting much to share with you all about small or big blessings because many of you are part of these blessings too!And many of you really are interested in life of orphans, praying for them and helping in their needs.

When we just arrived to the orphanage, children began to run to us and say how they missed us.We did not see them only two weeks.We did not visit them a week before because they have been busy by their(orphanage) work at this day.(We have been talking with administration of orphanage before).So, we decided do not go there, as it would be heavy for them with time.

 When we saw each other, we all were sooo blessed to receive hugs from them and hear: "we missed you!", "why you did not come last Saturday?", "what happened?", "we have been waiting for you!". Ah!It was soooo sweet!!!

So, we had regular Bible lesson in this orphanage as usually.We have been learning with them about Joshua.That to be exactly the story of the day the sun stood still. This story comes from Joshua 10.

Do you know that in Ukrainian and Russian Bibles the name of Joshua has two words of his name? It confuse children a little.

It is as Jesus Christ, is meaning --Isus Christos(Russian and Ukrainian). Joshua is-- Isus Navin. We explain to children that Isus Navin that is Joshua, he is not Isus Christos(Jesus Christ). He is other person. It seems that of two Isus(Jesus) Bible has. :)

We sing with them their of one favourite song, I`m soldier of Jesus.As this song is with gestures, they really love to sing it and are rejoicing by it, especially boys!

 Nadya was telling story about battle when sun stood still.Boys helped us to show the battle.Oh, how they loved it!!! Especially to hold swords!But a girl was playing the sun.

It is so funny to hear when boys are asking: "Is it real swords?" And all of them want to play by that.
They LOVE  very much to play acting of Bible stories!

After Bible story we learned a Bible verse.When we learned enough well verse for them.They should tell verse and to strike with hand of ball at the same time.It was fun!

 

As our craft needed a time to dry.We gave paper sun to children and they colored it by paint.

 

 

 They were busy by their work and it was quiet.I love very much when they are busy by doing something. They are learning something to do, developing, opening their talents and they can see I can do something. And it helps them to be sure in themselves.

While their crafts were drying, we could to play a game.Where they gave answers to questions about Bible story.Who gave correct answer had right to place a beam to sun.

 They enjoyed very much by this game! We were amazed that they gave all answers correct! It is such blessing for us!

 

It was so sweet to see how older kids helped smaller ones to reach a place for beam.:)

Their suns already has dried and kiddies could to continue to work on their projects, crafts.They placed glitter to beams of sun.But as they love very much glitter some of them placed it not only on beams but  on whole  their craft!


What a mess was in class! You could see glitter everywhere.Some children have put it on their body, hands, faces.It was so funny to see it!They were so funny! Of course, we do NOT give glitter at their hands, we control it!!! But sometimes it is heavy to control such big crowd in one time :)

 As kids do not have their own Bibles, we try to do crafts with Bible verses. So that they can keep of their crafts and remember Bible verse we have learned during a lesson.So, this craft had verse on the back side too.

 Vitaliy is so sweet and kind boy! He helps us often during a lesson or to carry bags or collect things or something else.Isn`t he sweet?

When children finished their work, they were amazed and so excited by their crafts! They were running everywhere and showed their schoolmasters their work.They LOVED it so much and were happy to have it own!

 Boys love very much to make photos!They are really smart!And sometimes you think this place is not for them...

 In same time when we had Bible lesson, Sasha and Lyuba had meeting with teens.They had about 25-30 teens!Wow!It is so wonderful! Is not blessing from the Lord? They have talked at this time about God`s love.How is important to follow Jesus, to show God`s love to people and much more.During meeting they learn Bible verses too.Also Sasha gives assignment often to learn Bible verses to a next meeting.He prints it and gives to teens.

And after Bible time they had fun.As often teens are very active and love to play games too! :)

We had such blessed time with kids!We are so thankful to Jesus for opportunity to tell the Gospel to orphans, teach them right things, discipline, friendship, about great God`s things and His acts in Christian lives, give them our love, bring joy and hope and much and much more.We are so happy and thankful to Jesus!!!
