A week ago we had such a fun and awesome day! Our generous donor, brother Kevin (who came to spend time with BOM for several weeks and came back home already) wanted to bless our church and young people taking them to a folklore museum in Kiev. As more and more BOM supports the young adults we had to rent a bus. Now it is a problem for us with vehicle. But a good one! Our van is too small for so many souls. Ha ha! :)
In the museum you can also find more than 40 000 items of household and traditional culture such as costumes, old textiles, embroidery, carpets, ceramics, metal handicrafts, woodwork and glass-ware as well as musical instruments, paintings and houseware.
Pyrohiv museum has been accorded the status of State Museum of Ukraine and is affiliated with the Institute of Arts, Folklore and Ethnology of the National Academy of Science of Ukraine.Info have been taken from Wikipedia
Isn't it gorgeous?
The museum is beautiful!
If you will be ever in Ukraine, I would highly recommend finding time and visit this museum!
Thanks to that you learn a lot and you will see the history of our beautiful country, if Ukraine is dear to your heart :)
The entrance cost $1.20 for today.
Trust me, you will not regret! :)
This is quiet and awesome place.
And then at that day it started to rain! It was raining and then it stopped. And then raining again. And again.
We were hiding in the houses. It was so fun!
Kids like little doves. So cute!
And it began a downpour! We were hiding from the rain everywhere it was possible. But our clothes have been sopping wet already. :)
We were all like wet chickens. :) Unfortunately we could not see much.We realized that the rain lasted for the whole day so we decided to go home.
So, our bus and plus one more we went to Kiev, over 30 souls. Yay!

Even was heavy rain, we returned home soaking wet, walking barefoot through the puddles as the shoes have been wet. We felt cold later as there was no change of clothes until we got home. But we all were so happy! Many young people have been the first time in Kiev or somewhere outside the trade school. It was such awesome! And so fun rainy day!All were satisfied and had fun with such a huge crowd!
What a beautiful place! Even though you were caught in the rain, it looks like everyone had a wonderful time.
