Fun for girls

Several weeks ago we took one more group of girls out of the orphanage to have fun and eat in McDonald`s. They were so excited to come and could not await this very special day! :)And finally it happened. Yay! 

Most of the girls are 33 years old and they have never been in the city! It is hard to believe...The orphanage is located in a village, where  is absolutely nothing for entertainment. All the more so girls can not go beyond the orphanage. Their whole life is a small walled territory. Therefore, they were a little scared hum and noise of cars, tall buildings and wide streets. They were afraid to go and held hands.

When they turn 35, they will be sent to a asylum for adults, where they will spend the rest of their life. These places nobody to visit and the elderly die of distress and loneliness. :( The young ladies know about it... What they will be sent to the asylum and stay there forever. 

Therefore it is one of our goals bring joy to their lives when it is possible.

So, we had such an awesome day!We went to a big store to buy some fruit and sweets. At the same time they learn how to use the weights.

They looked curiously different animals in a zoological store. And they were delighted and long laughed when they saw clothing for pets, in particular for dogs. Why do people dress up the dogs, they asked? :)

Here, as always, we had a problem. Girls terribly afraid to take the step of moving escalator. We had to help them :)

We had so, so much fun! They screamed, they laughed,they jumped from a joy and excitement at this day.
It was super impressive to drive on cars! ;)

So, so much fun!

They liked so much a carousel as cars up and down! So they rode twice! Ha ha!

Finally McDonalds! Awesome! The first McDonald's in life! We taught them how to use a straw to drink. Since they first ever drank Coca Cola, the girls were asked what it was. :)  We showed how to eat french fries, mcchicken, chicken mcnuggets, how to use napkins. The orphanage do not have them there and nobody uses. They were overjoyed to eat in McDonald`s!

The young ladies hugged, kissed and thanked hundreds times for this special day in their lives! They said, it was most amazing day in their lives!!! Wow! What a great impact in their lives! It is such a great joy to see happy these sweet young ladies. It is such a great blessing to make them happy through little kind of kindness, make their faces alight with happiness and see asparkle eyes. How wonderful and awesome!!!!

The most wonderful day!

What a wonderful 2015 we had! Wow! Looking back, probably not enough of a day to say everything, how many amazing things happened! God has been so very good!!!!!!!!! Thank you very much that you were with us, were participants of many wonderful and amazing blessings, prayed with us about the wonders showing your care and love. Huge enormous thank you to you all!!!! We pray and hope for your cooperation and participation in this 2016 New Year. :)

But here I would like to share with you the great joy that should have told you in the past year!Sounds funny, even it happened several weeks ago. :) Since we are trying to solve a problem, to find a way where we could receive funds that would continue to support the orphaned children. The problem is not only in PayPal. Our situation is more complicated that there is no way to get the money at all. The search for a solution to this problem takes a lot of time! Yikes. So I have not had the opportunity to write on the blog before. Prayers would be greatly appreciated that God lead us to the right place and open the new door. Thank you!!!

So! God has given us the opportunity to take to McDonald's another group of girls from the orphanage! Yay! The 8 beautiful young ladies. No doubt they were looking forward to this special day and every day running around and exciting, asked the staff of the orphanage when this day would come. What staff told us :)

So, finally it happened!

Before McDonald`s, we went to the supermarket, because the sweet souls had never seen a huge store with a large assortment of food and other things. They were confused, their eyes were running and did not know where to look. We have also taught them to use weights as the group before. The girls were in shock. "Wow! I never thought that there is so much food! And that's all people are buying?" :)

Absolutely everything was at the first time ever for the young ladies! The first outing of the orphanage, the first among people, the first store, entertainment and all, all, all! They were confused and restraining at the beginning. But after a while, they began to express their feelings and delight.

The young ladies did not know how to use the escalator and some needed the help. Honestly, I thought that someone would fall and be injured. They were scared. But thank God nothing happened!

                            

They were overjoyed and amazed after the ride in a car! They love it!

So, so much joy and delight! :)

Oh, by the way, it was their first in the life basketball. They don't know how to play it and volleyball also.

You should have seen their joy when they could get in the basket! :) Go, Lesya!

 And many other attractions we had. Everyone was already tired. But they still wanted to continue to play! It was so amazing and so very fun time!

 Finally, McDonald's! Awesome! What is it? they pointed on Mcnuggets. Chicken? It looks weird :) Why the drink such hot? drinking a Coke asked another young lady. And why is it so burns the tongue? She meant gas bubbles. :) Why does it need the ice in Coca cola? It needs to eat? asking girl started to eat ice. And where is fork for french fries? :) and so on, and so on.

   Precious souls asked many of these questions and did not know how and what to eat.Not surprisingly, it is the first in the life Mcdonalds! They were thrilled!!!!

  About ice. I was confused and asked these questions, when I was in America. I could not understand why need to add ice in the already cold drink? Ha ha! It was funny, when some of our friends arrived in Ukraine were disappointed that they could not find an ice to make cool drink. Ukraine is not the country air conditioners and you will not find the ice in a small provincial town. In villages generally do not. :)

   Girls were so upset when we said goodbye... :( Can we stay still? Can we stay here and do not go back to the orphanage? ... 

   A few weeks later we visited the beautiful ladies at the orphanage again. They just flew towards us!!! Everyone just ran, hugged, kissed rejoicing and screaming.  It was the most wonderful day of my life! I was so excited that I could not calm down for several days. I was so impressed! Thank you very much! Will we go again? I was thrilled and I never thought that you can spend a wonderful day! Thank you so much! and so much more we heard and it made us smile and happy.

First time ever...

What a fantastic day had those beautiful young ladies few weeks ago!Those young 8 ladies have been first time ever out of the orphanage! Many of them are over 20 years old. Absolutely EVERYTHING was first time ever for these girls!Can you imagine not being out of the orphanage over 20-25 years old???...

They had never seen such a huge store and they were thrilled!When girls decided to buy juice and have seen a lot choice, they got lost and for a long time they could not chose what they want. :)

They first saw the scales and we have explained and taught them how to use it, how to weigh fruits and vegetables.

 They were very interested and excited to learn.

They had never seen a fish in the store and all kinds of it and were shocked that it's possible to buy it alive. :)

Ladies have never seen an automatic revolving door and they were afraid to go through them that not to get stuck. They laughted a lot. But one girl hurted her leg a bit. But then she was okay.

They first saw and learned how to use escalator. Most of them were afraid to get on the moving steps and lose the balance to avoid falling. Oh, no no I can not do it! they said. Some girls had to help by taking their hands.

How the girls were happy to ride on the carousel! Their eyes were shining and they were thrilled!!! Oh, my!

They have never been in a pet shop and never saw different animals. Oh, what is it?  Wow! look at this! What is the name of an animal? and many, many different questions were from their lips. This store was for them as a small zoo :)

 It was so fun!

Young ladies also had the opportunity to jump and have fun on the trampoline.

 They were so excited to ride in cars! It was so fun and they love it!!!

There was a lot of fun and laughter.

And the end of all the entertainments and fun, for the FIRST TIME ever the girls were in McDonald`s! Yay!

 They were waiting for this moment for whole year! Can you imagine how they felt and longed for? For some reason in the orphanage, we could not take them out of the orphanage so long. We prayed and asked the Lord to resolve this issue. Finally it happened! Praise God!!!

A few days before our meeting, the girls are constantly approached and asked. When we were going to McDonald`s? Is it true that we are going there? They would not forget taking us there? Young ladies were preparing for this event for a few weeks and hundreds of times asking employees about this event. :)

Girls had never seen franch fries and did not know how to eat. They had never seen a drink straw and did not know how to use and what to do with it.

First ice cream in McDonald`s and so on, and so on... And many, many, many more things were first time ever! Those beautiful souls were admired and they were overjoyed! :)

Day was amazing and we were so happy to see those precious souls smiling, laughing with sparkling eyes and with such happy smiles!!!! We thank God for the opportunity He gave us to bring such a great joy for these sweet ladies.
They all were soooo sad and did not want come back to the orphanage and asked to stay longer... :(

A one employer of the orphanage kissed and hugged us many, many times and said, You even can not imagine what you have done for them! All glory to God!!! :)
