Best day in the life of one "bad" guy

The young people often bored at trade schools. They do not know what do after lessons... Often they just wandering on territory of trade school or sit at dorm rooms. They are like sheeps without shepherd. Not surprised. They left orphanages at age 16 (some even 15) -17 years old. Sweet souls feel lonely and depressed... Because of this kids get in different troubles. Stealing. Alcohol. Drugs. Prostitution. Missing lessons. Running away from trade school... So, police often comes to trade schools :(  Our hearts are broken to see them in such condition... So it was made a decision to have a special retreat for the students.

When the day came. While we waited for the arrival of students from other cities, we had a fun time in the local entertainment complex with few others. I just love to seeing them laugh! Everyone had such a wonderful time!

When everyone gathered, we went to the zoo! Yay! Everybody were so excited!

God provided such a beautiful weather at this day! We were greatly surprised because we had chilly days earlier. We enjoyed the last warm day :) By the way we have very cold days here now and it was snowing a day before!I am not ready yet for cold, windy and frosty days!

Two Nastya quickly became friends on that day, although they are from different cities and trade schools. They still often talk on the phone. Is not it sweet? :)

I cannot remember the name of this creature. It looks partly like rabbit for me but with short ears and eats cabbage and carrot. But it is not rabbit. It is so interesting!

The young adults were amazed by so many wonderful creatures! We could hear always. "Wow! Look at this! What it is? So beautiful!"It's like a beautiful melody for the ears to hear their enthusiasm and joy. I just love! Love it! :)

It was lovely and precious time of fellowship!

Students often malnourished in schools. They were so happy to eat something tasty! And of course they were excited to have an ice cream! :) If you ever been in Ukraine. I bet you know we have a delicious ice cream! Ha ha! ;)

But I would like to stay on this guy, who fed almost all the animals in the zoo! Lol

Some time ago, we were told that he is a horrible and rude guy. He ran away from lessons in orphanage. He quarreled with all the teachers. Fighted with guys. No one could manage him. Rude fellow and ill-mannered. In general, everything that there is only a negative, everything has been said about him. Another word a bad guy.We understood there is some trouble. But what?..

When we held the first meeting with the graduates of orphanage, he could not wait for the end of the meeting. Always asking, how long? when the end of the meeting? He seemed to be was not interested, because playing games on his cell phone. Honestly, several times I thought he will stand up and go away...
At the next meeting, he sat in silence without asking anything.
Then again several meetings. He began to talk to us and even escort to the door.
When later we arrived at the trade school, where he enrolled, he ran to meet! "You arrived! I'm so glad to see you all!" :)

When we invited him to the zoo, his joy knew no bounds!Sasha wanted to feed all of the zoo animals. When the meal was over for the giraffe. He raked up all the branches and leaves on the ground, only to feed the giraffes. Sweet :)

"Aunt Alla, see I'm feeding giraffes!!! Did you see it?! " I don't know how many times he told it... :)))

Sweet guy was as in the Heaven! He was thrilled to seeing all animals! I only could hear always. "Aunt Alla, did you see? Aunt Alla, what is it? Wow! Aunt Alla, look at this!" :)
He ran the zoo from one cell to another faster than us. Precious boy was delighted! We were worried that would not lose sight of him as the zoo is huge. We could only scream out. Sasha, stop! Sasha wait! And where is Sasha ??? :)))

At same time we could not believe our own eyes...He was different... He was not same guy as we were told a while ago! Trust me! He was another guy! He was not rude. He respected us whenever it was possible. He behaves well enough for teen age. I  would say backward! Sasha is kind, organized and responsible guy! He is creative and smart. We have learned it giving him some affairs. He did great! We just could not believe and our hearts rejoiced. On this day, we learned about Sasha so much beauty of his soul. He's another guy... Yes, he has some difficulties in behavior. But it's little things, and all can learn. It is just need time. :)

At the end when we were leaving, all the kids certainly were grateful. Sasha thanked several times and said, It was the best day of my life! I even could not think that can be both spent so fun and a great time.

When Sasha saw a camel he was amazed!

Oh, his fur is so soft! I even could not think. Many times he touched and stroked the camel.

And in the end of the day he said, Do you know what? It was my dream to see a camel. I`m so thankful you made my dream true.

The tears flow as I am typing these lines... How the soul is precious in His sight. How good, merciful and loving our God Father. We had one goal, but God has shown us more... We were concerned why and what? God showed us the answer. How often do people estimate could be wrong ... It is simple enough to try to understand such as Sasha and just love. Spending time together. Rejoice and have fun. He is precious in God's eyes and his soul is beautiful. He just spiritually wounded and needed healing of the soul, which can only give a loving Jesus. Praying for this sweet soul.

We thank God for the opportunity He has given us and all, who made it is possible to bless these beautiful young souls. And also that God makes the dreams of young people real. This is such a precious and warms heart. Thank you very much from bottom of our hearts! Thank you all for your big and generous hearts!♥

Serving the Lord together

"I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.
So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.
Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour.
For we are labourers together with God..."
(1 Corinthians 3:6-9) KJV

Someone donates, someone prays, someone serves, we are God's labourers. Every one shall receive his own reward.

We have been so very happy to meet our sweet friends last Wednesday! They did not know we were going to meet them at airport and it was a sweet surprise :) I was so nervous and my knees were trembling that I thought I would pass out!!! Crazy. Ha Ha! I was sooooo very happy to see this precious family Morganti, who barely knew me but hosted in California and treated like a princess for what I`m so grateful God and it was wonderful and unforgettable experience in USA :)

The next day we have met our dear friend, brother Kevin, who has such a generous heart to Ukrainian orphans working very hard to bless them.I lost count of how many hundreds of packages he sent  from USA to BOM for several years. :) God is good!

All together we had a sweet time of fellowship.

We visited boys in a mental institution.  I have a wonderful news for you. But about it later :)

We had a Bible lesson with girls, talking about Rahab and Jericho.

We had a lot of fun!

All our church congratulated and celebrated Birthday of our guest from U.S.

Everyone received a special gift from bro.Kevin at church. Everyone was so happy and it was so sweet!

While our van was being repaired on Monday, we walked around the city. It was a hot day and all were wet! Oh. But we had a wonderful fellowship with young people.

Stella invited to the church her friends, who are former orphans as well. They loved to be with children of God! Both young ladies, Anya(in red on the picture) and Sveta(in grey) are not Christians, very interested continue to visit church services. We would be so thankful if you pray please for their salvation. We are so excited to see more and more young people join and interested to hear the God`s word! What a blessing!

On September, 1th the BOM visited kids for First Bell and 20 backpacks have been delivered to the orphanage. Kids were so excited! Yay! Director was so happy and greatly thanked for this beautiful blessing. Thank you! Thank you very much to all, who blessed these precious children with this awesome gift! You are amazing!!! Really. Director says, now all village(orphanage is in village) will speak what a beautiful gifts children received. :)

The name of Jesus is praising and glorifying far away! Awesome! Thank you so very much, who made it possible!!!

We have found a cafe-museum recently! Where you can have the Ukrainian delicious meal for about $3.00-5.00 and see old stuff what people used many years ago and still using in villages. We loved it! If you come to visit BOM, now we know where to take you ;) Ha ha!

This week we had an awesome Bible lesson with boys! We talked about 10 Egypt plagues and had so much fun!

Also BOM had a chance to visit young adults at a trade school, who graduated this year. They are not very happy they have to study at this school and cannot choose, where they would like to study and they all are very sad.Young people just don`t have a choice. They will get stipend about 270 uah( about $12.00) per month. It is enough to buy food for few days.

In room there no socket. I have no idea why. So, they can not plug in any electric device. :(

We gave them personal care items and had sweet time of fellowship.

About 140 kids live in a dormitory, where only 2 showers.

Boys and girls live on one floor. If you go first in line you will take shower with a hot water, then next, sorry, only cold water.

The toilet room is closed during a day, administration opens it after 6-7.00pm. They have go outside to use a rest room.

We watched how they learned to use ATM and get bank card at a bank first time in life. They felt lost filling out a documents at bank.

Each of teen has their own struggle and problem. After school they wander and don`t know what to do...And I would say it is depressing. They feel alone and that nobody takes care of them. Please, pray for this young people God protect them from a sin and troubles. Pray God give us wisdom how to show the love of Christ and care. Of course, they were so happy to see us and said, "please, come oftener."

Thanks for taking time to read the blog post. It means so much for us :) Please, come back. More to come!May God bless you!

What a beautiful busy day

Last week was super busy! About one of these beautiful and busy days, I would love to tell you.

At the beginning we visited our precious graduating orphans and young agults from poor families in trade school.

It was so awesome that these 7 young guys came for our meeting first time! They never heard the Gospel and never holding and even seen the Bible. What a blessing!

We talked about that real love, relationship between a guy and a girl starts with friendship and gradually turns into love. We talked about what can be friendship between him and her.

We talked with the guys about premarital purity. That young girls and guys should keep their purity before marriage. God condemns pre-marital relationships and how many problems it all brings. That girls should keep themselves, but not defile their body. That each of them is beautiful as this rose.

Here Andrew told his wonderful testimony. The guys are very attentively and with amazement listened.

Then all present received a precious gifts, personal care items. There were socks, deodorant, shampoo, shower gel etc.

Everyone was glad to get a gift!

At the end we had cookies and drink.
Do you know what? After a few minutes there was nothing left! I think next time buy more food. :)

We had an amazing time and fellowship with these precious souls!
When we were ready to leave this room. We were approached by several women that worked there.
-Is this your blue vehicle? they asked.
-Yes.
-Oh, how they wait for you! How they wait for you!- several times they repeated.
They are so thrilled when see blue van!Come, visit them oftener. Perhaps your visit will help to change their lives and relationships. And we will be glad to see you.

I think they have heard all what we talked about, even behind closed doors. But it was such a blessing to hear that these beautiful precious souls are waiting for BOM always. :) ♥
Some of them graduating this trade school in June and hope we can see them oftener.

Then we gone to another orphanage that would bring packages to these beautiful young ladies, from the sponsors.

There was lots of delight and joy :0)

Then having a lunch very fast, we met an one orphaned guy who were wandering on the street and who graduated orphanage few years ago. It was very sad to see him in this condition and hear his sad stories. We fed him and had a fellowship little with him. Then saying goodbye with this guy, we went to other orphanage. It was late some, around 7.30-8.00 pm. I thought that we will have a trouble from the administration of the orphanage that we came so late. :) We never visit orphanages so late because they have day regimen and we try do not break it. Go there only with permit of administrations.

But even on the contrary, all employees of the orphanage and kids were happy by meeting. Administration warmly greeted us and organized all. That we were able to have a little meeting with graduates. And presented these beautiful 20 towels. We call them "big candies" :)

All teens were glad by gifts and warmly thanked.

We came back home late, tired but happy!

THANK YOU all very much for all your love and care, for taking part in the project and sending packages! Here so many work. Wow!Thank you! Thank you on behalf of these beautiful souls! ♥
