Bikes and Shish kebab

We had a terrific day with the children of the whole orphanage a week ago!!! Having collected all the necessary things, we came to kids. Several young adults and BOM staff rode bicycles with the children. Nature, fresh air, beautiful weather. Everything was amazingly beautiful! While part of the team went with children on bicycles, another part of the team cooked shish kebab, pilaf and everything else. One of the graduates learned to cook shish kebab. So wonderful! Everything was very tasty! Mmm! So delicious!!!
Do you remember the Biblical story of how Jesus fed 5000 people with 2 fishes and 5 loaves? Something similar happened to us. :) We were going to feed about 30 people but not more. But it turned out that more than 70 people were fed!Wow!!! This is the whole orphanage! Amazing!!!
Then we played different games with children. Children were delighted! Everything was just great! All the employees of the orphanage and especially the children were so happy! One of the employees came up and said. "I'm very ashamed to admit. But today was the most delicious shish kebab in my life." ♥ So, if you want to try the best shish kebab, welcome to Ukraine! Ha ha! ;)

But really, God blessed in many ways and we were surprised and so thankful to the Lord! Many warmly thanked with  kind words. It was so awesome to see everyone happy at one big table! Big and lovely family. ♥
We thank God for such wonderful opportunity to have a great time with children and employees! We are so grateful to our Heavenly Father for the opportunity to touch the precious hearts of kids and even adults! It is such a wonderful blessing to bring joy and delight to many souls!!! God is so good!!!We praise and thank Him!!!

Fellowship with our young friends

Last Saturday we had a picnic! We were going to have it for several weeks but were not able because of rainy days and several other reasons. But finally it happened! Yay! Except our church we invited students from trade schools. So, we had over 50 souls. The day was simply fantastic! God blessed with nice and warm weather, we had shashlik and so much fun games!

When we called to students and sent money that they can come(stipend is very low so they can not pay bus ticket). The young people always said, we can not wait come for picnic and eat shashlick! All were thrilled and could not wait for that day! :)

Are you ready for many pictures and videos? :)))

Guys were learning how to do shashlik

While sisters set the table, we could play a few games. It was funny when Vova "took a shower", caught the balloon by hand. Probably he forgot that the balloon was with water. Ha ha! :)

Many students loved to shoot a bow!

Therefore, many have learned this skill

We called Vadim, "a local bear".  :) Some of the kids accidentally threw a frisbee to a tree. Vadim dared to climb up the tree and take it off.

Boys, oh, boys!

Kids were excited to play different games as well.

And then, when everyone was already pretty hungry, we had a kebab/shashlik!

Everyone was pretty excited!

Many of the young people ate it first time in life!Wow! Can you imagine what a treat it was for them?

Vadim had Birthday at this day. He said, "It was such a blessing to celebrate my Birthday and have a wonderful fellowship with my closest friends together!" And again, he did not expect! We made a surprise for him :)

After all were fed, we could continue to play games and just have a sweet fellowship.

We had lots of, lots of fun!!!

We played all kinds of crazy and silly games

We laughed a lot!

Everyone was enjoying by spending time together.

And we played  again our favorite game!
Oops! This is what happens, when you miss the balloon with water. The cold shower! :)

And again!

And again! It was soooo funny!

It was about 8 pm but no one wanted to leave... The day was absolutely beautiful and amazing! We all had so, so , sooo much fun!!!!

The next day we took young adults to the local park.

Some of them never ever been in the city! Why? Because some orphanages are at villages where are absolutely nothing for fun. No parks, lakes, swings etc. And while they are there kids can not leave teritory of the orphanages.  Then trade schools in villages, where are nothing for fun. So, some young people were amazed. Oh, how beautiful! How wonderful! and so on. Just taking them to the park made them so happy!

We had no idea. But this day was Family Day in the Park. It was fun!

Then, like a big family, we returned to the church for the service. After the service we were able to feed all. It was so wonderful!

I have never seen. But it was so cool to watch when the bird flew to the nest and called the baby birds to eat. It was so cool to watch! And it was at that moment when we were about to sit down to eat in the picnic day.
It reminded me that many young people like baby birds. They flew out of the nest, finished orphanages. But they are so young, weak and powerless... And as the baby birds they need spiritual food, support and someone who will be able to be next to them supporting and feeding them.

Thank you! Thank you very much for helping us to make it possible! Thank you for feed and support them!

And one of the most wonderful blessings. The next day, Dima went to the pastor and said that he felt like a family and want to accept Jesus Christ. How amazing! This young man became part of God's family!Praise God!!!

Dima is shorter and in blue jeans.

Young people going back to trade school hugging, kissing and warmly thanked for 2 days wonderfully spent, for picnic, and all the entertainments. It is so awesome to make someone happy and bring joy! ;)

10th Anniversary

We had a wonderful day celebrating Bible Baptist Charity Church 10th Anniversary last month! It was a blessing to see those who were still there from the beginning, those who had returned to celebrate the special day after being away for a while.  To God be the glory!

We decided to have a picnic!Yay! It was a amazing day and we have had soooo much fun!

But before it we had some adventure.
When we were driving to a place where we had to picnic. Our van for no reason stopped and did not want to move! Brothers tried to find a reason what happened. But could not find. We started to unload all baggage as we thought we may call for a recovery vehicle. Oh, no! It is too expensive! We will not have picnic? I was thinking, God what plan do you have for us? For what we have to be ready? Do you want protect us from something? At this time rainy clouds were coming and became a darker. We started to pray. Do you know what?

The vehicle breakdown was found and thanks this trouble, other breaking what  service men in different car services could not find before, it was found and fixed! How wonderful!
Romans 8:28 works always! :) "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose".

We decorated a little bit to make more celebratory. After all it is Church Anniversary! Bible says Church as Bride. :)

Our shelter shed looked little bit nicer. :)

Everyone was busy by their own work

I just love how mommy and kid interact!

Look at this precious Andrew`s smile!

 Babies, babies...

Even they were busy their own "work" :)

 Sophie loves Andrew. So sweet.

So, while chicken shashlik were cooked...

 everyone played games.

I love this cute dirty face!

Archery is my favorite sport! I just love, love it! So, everyone who can not do it, had the opportunity to learn. Some thought it is easy. But if you ever shot from bow, you know the truth ;)

Like a mommy, like a son

Edick wanted to learn also! :) He tried to copy and always asked or it is right. So cute.

Then we had shashlik, vegetables, fruits and cake! It was delicious!

Also we played our favorite game.Everyone in our church likes it very much.

This is what happens if miss out balloon with water :)

This day was chilly and rainy a little bit.We had perfect shed that we could place fire and everyone could keep warm. Fire was so helpful!

Even it was rainy, we had roof. So, we could continue to have fun! It was so awesome!

And we were singing a lot. At this place there are several shelter sheds where people celebrate different parties, Birthdays, Wedding and so on. So, people around could hear Christian songs and we were so happy God's name was glorified. They looked at us like at strangers :) But doesn`t Bible says we are strangers or fools for this world? (1 Corinthians 4:10) "We are fools for Christ's sake..."

The day was simply fantastic! Even it was cold and rainy, thank God not all day long.  It was sad that many were not able to come and celebrate this special day.But we had so much fun! We laughed a lot and enjoyed our fellowship.

But most wonderful blessing for us was when Zhenya said she wants to accept Jesus Christ! God granted our church with this beautiful gift at this day. How awesome! We were sooo happy for Zhenya! Our joy was no end! Praise God!!!!

Our church is different a little bit than many others. Because our pastor Misha and about 70% of church members, old and young people are former orphans. Can you believe it? How wonderful!God is soooo good!!!!
