One more meeting

I LOVE these precious smiles!Aren`t they cute and sweeties?Ah, we so love these darling souls.

The Lord gave the chance to us to conduct with them one more Bible lesson, telling about God's miracles and his care of his children. This time we told them story about Elijah how the Lord used him and made many surprising miracles/(1 Kings 17-18)

I told you early here that we made a puppet a raven who was a guest(in other orphanage) and told to children about Elijah, as ravens fed him.( 1 Kings 17:4) It was such joy to children at this orphanage too!

All of them so attentive and with amazement listened to what our raven Karkarona (her name) told. It was amazing and such wonderful moment! All children listened and looked at her with delight, in fact she was our guest. ;) Kids wanted to pet her and were soooooo excited!They LOVED her!

As the puppet of raven drew attention of children, it was easy to tell a remaining part stories about Elijah, what Nadia and made.It was awesome time!

Then we played game, "feed Elijah". One part of children hid slices of paper meat where the Bible verse was written and which we studied then. Other part of children, which were in a role of ravens, shall find this meat and bring to the protagonist of the Bible story, by other word to feed him. We had Nadia as prophet Elijah.

Kids were so much excited to play this game!They were so thrilled they should to find something.As they love to hide and find!The game was excellent too!

Look at this sweet boy how he is happy that he found this piece of the meat.

Then children did a raven craft. So that saved time at lesson and children weren't soiled in black color, we ourselves painted paper plates by black color, before going to this orphanage. It was necessary to paint 70 pieces. It simplify much more work of children. They should paste only a beak of raven, where it held the Bible verse that we studied. Also to paste wiggle eyes. Oh, how they simply adore, when eyes move at their crafts! And with help of brads to attach wings to raven, that it could "fly".

They were SO much excited to make this craft!And especially that it can fly!

At the very end of a meeting we congratulated who had birthdays. Oh, how they were glad to gifts! Before the lesson began, children already hurried to tell that they had a birthday. Some children asked:" Will you congratulate me and present a toy to me when will be a birthday in 3 or 4 months?" 

Many orphans wait these gifts for some months forward! Please send toys, cars, whatever you can.., that we could congratulate them. It is a special day in life of each child. You need to see their admiration and such pure joy when they receive them!

Our desire to make their special day, at least a little more joyfully and absolutely another from all common and gray days their lives. Please, remember that nobody congratulates orphans, and they so wait for a gift...Thanks!

 

 We had such great and wonderful time with these kids.

Well.With these souls, dear to our hearts, we can meet not soon... They go to homes on summer vacations. They go there, where for them don't wait, where they aren't loved, where they can meet an evil and violence, misunderstanding and humiliation.It so sad and breaks our hearts that here on the earth, they simply are necessary to nobody, lonely and thrown... Please pray, that God keeped them from any evil and troubles.Pray that they saw the God's hand in their lives, love and his care.Thanks a lot!

"But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God." (Luke 18:16) KJV

One more soul

  The part of our ministry consists in that to help graduates of orphanages on how many as we can. We share with them our food, help with clothes or footwear. We share our houses, with those who stayed on the street. We help them to solve questions that to us under force, or simply we give advice. We help and teach life skills how to wash clothes, iron, how to cook and much more.

  In orphanages children are often left and not taught important life skills. When they finish orphanage and begin "adult" independent life. They don't know from what to begin, also what to decide, where to go and to whom even to turn to a simple council. They a lot of things be afraid to begin or do. Feel uncertain and unsure. In the social environment them often neglect and humiliate. If an orphan are with special needs, a work it is impossible to find.It means those orphans who receive school education at orphanages.Orphanages where children with special needs are very different. And as a result, the broken life, loneliness, emptiness, fear, emptiness that turns over time into indifference and disbelief by all and to all. As a result life on the street or where they find a place to live...

   Here is only little part of life former street boy, without special needs.You can imagine how it`s more heavy for orphans with special needs...It`s scary.

But here I would like to share with you our huge joy. We are so excited and so extremely happy!!!

  Once at the cold night, one of graduates of an orphanage stayed simply on the street.

 Imagine, one at night on street, very cold, you have to remember how cold was last winter and how many homeless people died...
This orphaned girl had no place to go, with worries and fear in heart.Tears, lonely, unloved, hungry, unprotected... Where to go? Where to live? What to do? to whom to address for the help? Hundred questions were twirled in the head during this moment.What could she feel during this moment if she simply stayed on the street???

God loves and cares about orphans, as He promised in His word.

"Thou hast seen it; for thou beholdest mischief and spite, to requite it with thy hand: the poor committeth himself unto thee; thou art the helper of the fatherless." (Psalm 10:14)

 This cold night when we learned about this girl, by name of Valya. We found a temporal place of dwelling for her and helped her how many could and how many it was in our forces...She lived in home of Christian sisters.

  So, a week ago Valya expressed desire to ask Jesus to become her personal Lord and the Savior!Wow!What a great blessing!We were so thrilled!

  This is not all. The same day when she asked Jesus to saved her and to change life. Someone called and authorized to live her in a social hostel or dormitory. Valya was so happy that she takes place where to live! She cried out the whole time: "This is miracle!It`s miracle! Only God was able to do it!"

 This is small hostel on 4 rooms for poor people. Where in each room there can live 3-4 persons only 3 months. This rule of a hostel.

Dear and sweet friends, this real miracle! Because it is very difficult to get to this hostel and not each poor person accept.

We are so grateful one more soul is saved!We are so happy one more soul found a peace and calm, love and protecting in Jesus Christ.We are so thrilled one more soul found a hope and sureness, Father and Saviour in Jesus Christ!We, so rejoice that one more soul wasn't lost in this world.We are so extremely happy!!!

We would be so thankful if you remember Valya in your prayers.She has so many physical and spiritual needs.Thank you so much!

Such a lot of joy!!!

Do you see such big crowd of our beloved God`s creations?Do you see these happy precious faces with packages in hands?Yeahhhh! We could visit them and present them your gifts of love!

It was awesome blessing to see them again and see such happy hearts.It was even more than wonderful meeting!There were such a lot of joy and happy tears.We knew how girls will be happy.But they were MORE happy than we expected!Wow!I even can not describe you how much emotions and thrilled moments were there!IT WAS AWESOME!We only rejoiced, praised and thanked the Lord in our hearts. :)

I will begin in sequence what we did and how spent time with children.I`m so exciting to do that!

At the beginning we had a program with them instead of the Bible lesson as usual. It was great time!
When we learned with them the new song about friendship, we played some games.

Game is called, "Feed the friend". The one of participants are blindfolded and she/he blindly shall feed the friend. Those win who the first will eat.It was very funny, when among younger kids, one of girls(in blue jacket) instead of that what to feed the friend. She ate one part of a cake and only then gave the second part to the friend. :)))

 

Also we had Bible story about Jonathan and David.We took older girls to help with that.

Girls were excited to play role during history.Natasha was Jonathan.She was such happy to learn to shoot the arrows!

We had such great time!

But how children were impressed, when learned that they will receive a gift!They were excited soooooooo much!There were a LOT of joy!WOW!

Each time I view this video, each time I`m crying.They are sooooo precious and sweet.Look at them how they are excited their gifts.It`s awesome!

Dear mommy where are you?...Do you know your precious little angel kissed her new shoes?Yes, she did it.When Masha took out her new shoes, she was soooo excited and kissed that.

Such happy her new gift!I believe, if you would here.You would receive such as that hundreds sweet hugs!So, children "send" hugs to you all!  :)

You won't believe but she cried when received the gift.She wiped tears, but they slid on her cheeks again and again...

Yes.It was tears of happiness.It was tears of overwhelmed heart and your love, sweet friends. She felt your amazing love and gentle care.Isn`t amazing?

This day was awesome!We were sooooo happy to see such amazing smiling faces with shining eyes!

Thank you dear friends about care of these orphans.Your greatly love astonish and make them happy, brought a lot of joy and tears of happiness.Your gentle care helped them in needs and thankful prayers to Jesus.You make a difference friends in their lives!Thank you!Lots of love to you and hugs!

Meeting with teens

Last week the Lord gave the chance to us to hold a meeting with teenagers.We had great time!It`s the orphanage where typical children.We had a lot of cheerful time and the serious moments throughout the meeting.We sang together with children a lot, played and listened to the God's Word.One song they so loved that they asked to sing many times!That was wonderful time!

As we were going to have a meeting only with teenagers, we assumed that there will be about 30-40 children. But the Lord had other plan. Other children that younger age asked very much to be present at the meeting. We had no enough candies as we expected certain number of children.Our hearts was torn asunder, what to do? how to be? Later we solved this question. Thus we had exactly 90 children!Wow!What a blessing!

The Lord wanted that bigger number of orphans could hear the God's word and be consoled.We had such blessed time!!!

The hall was almost complete people. Blessing for us was to see many tеachers and workers of orphanage that could hear the Gospel.The God's plan ALWAYS is the best!!!We all were excited by our spent time so much!

Here is video one of our game.Children bound a balloon to the right foot. Then they divided on pairs. They shall burst a balloon of the companion and during the same time to save their. It was very funny to watch! They very much liked this game and were excited to play!It was so funny time!

We played one more game. Where blindfold children shall feed their friends who also was blindfold.

 This game was even more amusing. Was very funny to look, when they got to the wrong direction or instead of mouth got a cake to a forehead or an eye of the friend. All hall laughed loudly!It was soooooo funny! :)))

Except fun time, we had time when all presented in hall, could hear the Gospel. As we had a subject about friendship.What the Bible speaks about friendship, which we should be friends, whether we are good friends in relation to our friends etc. We told them great story of friendship about Jonathan and David. (1 Samuel 18-20)

When we arrived to the orphanage and prepared for the program, children asked: "Will we see a theatrical?" 

They told to us Bible stories about 3 young men in the furnace and about Jonah when we told and showed.We were impressed that all of them still remember these stories!That is great!!! Isn`t sweet?I LOVE when kids remember stories!

In the history of friendship about Jonathan and David we read. "Then Jonathan and David made a covenant, because he loved him as his own soul.And Jonathan stripped himself of the robe that was upon him, and gave it to David, and his garments, even to his sword, and to his bow, and to his girdle." (1Sameul 18:3-4)

We try to do the utmost that children not only would remember stories but that they would be impressed. Unfortunately we had no enough time to prepare this program as lately we are super busy. It was necessary to invent something quickly and being remembered. Therefore we found everything that Jonathan presented to David. When children dressed to play a role of actors in the history, they very much rejoiced. Especially our Jonathan when he had so many things. But what was his surprise that he should give everything to the friend David!He said:" That is a lot!" It was good experiense for him to be friendly. :)

"And it came to pass in the morning, that Jonathan went out into the field at the time appointed with David, and a little lad with him. And he said unto his lad, Run, find out now the arrows which I shoot. And as the lad ran, he shot an arrow beyond him. And when the lad was come to the place of the arrow which Jonathan had shot, Jonathan cried after the lad, and said, Is not the arrow beyond thee? And Jonathan cried after the lad, Make speed, haste, stay not. And Jonathan's lad gathered up the arrows, and came to his master. But the lad knew not any thing: only Jonathan and David knew the matter." (1Samuel 20:35-39)

It was such honor for our Jonathan to shoot the arrows! :) He was excited very much!

But not only our Jonathan shoot arrows. There was a possibility to teach and many other children how to start up arrows. They learned to shoot at the target that we drew.Wow!It was such exciting moment! All kids wanted to shoot arrows!

When children just to saw bow with arrows, they were AMAZED!"WOW!Look at this!May I shoot?" They loved it sooooooooo much!It was such perfect possibility to learn kids how to use the bow and arrows.We love it! We were excited and thrilled how they were happy by using the bow and arrows!That is not surprise.Where kids could to use it and learn???

Who got the closer to center of target, won a prize more expensively.Boys LOVED this game! :)

 But on it our meeting didn't end. The our Heavenly Father is good to us, He blessed and we could distribute to kids New Testaments and Bibles.

 Isn`t blessing that orphans could receive the God's Word?Now they can read and learn about God`s love, about His comforting, how to live Christian life and much and much more.

 We had such great and blessed time with teens!!!We hope, if God will allow, to visit them soon. We praise our wonderful and so good Saviour!

When we came back home, all road was laid a smoke-screen. Snow at last completely melted. All prepare for summer, everything remove and clean after last year. Therefore fields prepare for sowing also. In the woods and on fields burn out an old last year's grass that the young grass could grow and was juicy.Just wonder, whether burn out also old grass every year in the Spring in other countries? New Project- Gifts to Graduates

Well, our beloved Friends. We begin our new project, Gifts to Graduates.

For those who doesn't know.Annually, between 10,000 – 15,000 orphaned children leave orphanages at the age of 15-16 years old. They as baby birds are still not ready to fly, them still it is necessary to feed and look after them. But that is our law. Still not ready to life, they shall spread wings and fly. Where? What direction? To whom? Nobody knows. As a result. Many of them stay simply on the street. Our government has no one program which could help to become on feet to these, still absolutely unprepared children. To trace everyone, who and where, to help as socially and physically or financially. They stay out of an orphanage absolutely one. Without any help, in fear and in horror, suffering abandonment and homelessness. Where to go and what to do???

Life in an orphanage has left them completely unprepared to manage simple tasks of life - or make good choices about relationships, whom to trust, or how to spend their time. No guidance and no accountability.

Statistical data shows that only one of ten Ukrainian orphans becomes a functional member of a society. Others are lost to crime, suicide, unemployment, homelessness, abusing drugs, prostitution and a victim of formation of human trade.These only are few from results.

I will give to you some examples that occurred recently in our ministry.

 Recently, once at night an orphaned girl stayed on the street, was very cold. The majority of you knows how cold there was this winter in Ukraine. Imagine,one on the street, without things, without documents.  took her to my home.When she ate, was noticeable that she didn't eat very long, she simply swallowed of food not the chewed. It was a plaintive and heartbreaking view. We gave her everything that she could eat, be warmed and live some time.She graduated an orphanage a few years ago. The dormitory where she lived before, simply kicked out her on the street.She lives everywhere where she can...

This girl told me about the schoolmates and about their awful life. In total what they worry and how they live, it is simply awful. Simply there are no words. Statistics proves to be true. Alcohol, poorness and poverty, unemployment, prison, the illegitimate given birth children and there is a lot of another...

Next.An one guy few months ago returned from prison. He is very dear and also special to ours hearts. He doesn't know and never saw the father. Somewhere about 6 years ago his mother was killed, she abused alcohol. We did everything that could, but life and circumstances not in our power. The his sister and he stayed orphans. As a result an orphanage, a shelter, escapes etc.As the result, he got to prison. Relatives took away an apartment where he lived before and he stayed simply on the street when came back from prison.

Next story.My sister Oksana met the girlfriend and the schoolmate recently. They didn't see each other many years. She told that when Oksana came back home from an orphanage, her girlfriend very much worried about her and often cried. Because Oksana was her single and the best girlfriend. Shortly her mother took away from the orphanage and very quickly died. As mother was married for the stepfather (not the native father), he again married but on other woman. Eventually girlfriend Oksana was even more unfortunate. Life among these people was simply a nightmare.At the age of 16-17 years she studied in one of educational institutions. She had no clothes, she wore a tatter. She hadn't what to eat, she ate scraps or what will find on the street.She had NO ONE person who could help her though something. She simply aimlessly wandered down the street.She was homeless, is defenseless, lived in fear and horror.

These are only few stories.I can tell MANY similar stories about awful life of these left children...

But for now Dear our Friends, we need your help.We need to raise fund $1820 for one month. We want to bless 80 graduates of orphanages with gifts, by kitchen utensils and a blanket.For each person it`s $22.75.

 We know that it is only a little that can help them after they will leave an orphanage. But we hope with the God`s help to help to these children at least this particle of kindness.

But we haven't enough time! Only a MONTH! All of you know that this year, will be Euro2012 in Ukraine in the summer. There is an instruction that all educational institutions would be closed, that all passed examinations and finished operations till summer. Therefore the Last Bell ceremony at orphanages will be not at the end of the month May, as usual. But in the middle of May. Directors of orphanages let to us know that we would arrive at the beginning of the month of May to graduates with the program. Because then there will be very intense time for them.

Some of you shall remember as unbelievably God blessed our fund-raising, with gifts, all our journeys and how many was joyfulness and the blessed moments.

So, we have only month to raise funds.Time is VERY short!Can we do that?Can we show to these children God`s care and His love?

 We are very exciting to share with you our blessings we have!We are so exciting to have all of you, to be part of this wonderful ministry, to care about orphans.Did not I tell you? You all are awesome!We are very thankful for your astonished love and great kindness!

 With your help we were able to buy medications to orphans with special needs.And soon we are going to deliver them this blessing.The staff of orphanage asked us to help them in this need, to help medication from flue and help kids who suffer with epilepsy, they get Depakine Chrono.We could only pray and asked the Lord to help orphans.With your help we could do it, to buy 4 boxes and all kinds of medications!Praise the Lord!

With your help we could to visit 3 orphanages for the last several days.And if God`s will we are going to one more this week.I will tell you about our wonderful visits in next posts.

In one of them(yesterday) we were able to help them with school chalk.It`s enough them for whole year.Administration of orphanage was very happy and thankful for your support!

With your help orphans will be continue to get their Birthday gifts!We received recently a package of these nice toys.And it`s in time because we had only several of them. God is awesome, He sends everything just in time!

With your help we are going to buy 6 new pair of shoes to orphans!

 With your help we could to raise $1538.5 to help orphans to get their gifts.Wow!It`s amazing!It`s enough to bless 304 orphans in 3 orphanages!!!We decided to spend little smaller than we hoped that to bless 3 orphanages.

We need $150 more...We have ONLY 2 days.Can we raise some more funds to help in more needs our precious and darling kids?

This Friday we are going to buy everything.So, we have only 2 days.We pray and ask God`s will in it.

Time is running out...

Time is running out for our latest project Gifts to orphans.We hoped that with the God`s help we can raise necessary finances that to bless our precious. It is sad a little we could not do it... But the Lord operates and supervises all. We can make nothing without His will and should only trust Him.He knows what He does.

We pray that the Lord has blessed also we could buy necessary things to orphans, shampoo, toothpaste, socks, undershirts etc. That these small gifts would bring them much joy. We have only a WEEK. Next week we are going to buy all necessary things for money that we have collected thanks to your tender love, kind and care of orphans. We are very grateful for that!!! Our hearts blessed and brought pleasure and happiness when in this project children took participation also. It simply melts your hearts when a small hearts want to bless the orphans too. Is not it a wonderful?

We are very exciting to bring these gifts to children!We are very exciting to see their happy, joyful shining eyes and hear their astonishment and admiration.It`s such a blessing!

We need to raise so much more.Our wish is to bless ALL of kids.It was very heavy decision for us which orphanage to bless.Our hearts are breaking we can not bless other our dear ones.We already made decision with prayers and thoughts.We ask you, please to pray and share this information.If the Lord gives you a wish, please donate using our chip-in or just paypal.Every $1-5-15-25 and more... is very helpful and appreciating.
