Tomorrow surgery

  Finally! Finally tomorrow will be the surgery of little Elijah at 10.00AM (Ukrainian time)! Praise the Lord!!! THANK YOU so much for your prayers and financial support !!! Parents are VERY grateful to all of you!!! ♥♥♥

  For various reasons, the surgery was postponed. God knows the best time.Often due to the fact that the baby felt not well. He was constantly in the hospital and often in intensive care... Only recently, he spent a month at home, which was a real miracle!

 The doctor warned us that the surgery is very complicated and we all should to be ready for everything... He explained that they would separate the two hemispheres of the brain and it will last at least 10 hours... That is Elijah can live with one half of the brain. Speech, brain activity, intellect, movement of parts of the body are all preserved. Of course, the little angel will need a long time for rehabilitation...

  We do not know how much time and money it will take to rehabilitate the baby... It is very difficult to say. We know that only about $700  will be spent on the 5 day intensive care of the boy after the surgery. The operation itself will cost $3,000. In addition, a lot of the rest of the spending on medicines, tests and much more. 

 Also, the father of the family cannot go to work as he is at home with their little daughter Diana, while Stela and Elijah are in the hospital. Therefore, the family is starving and without means of subsistence...They don`t receive any social assistance and payments from government to support the family. Our goal is to raise $3,000 for the rehabilitation of Elijah and food for the family for the first time until Vadim gets a job. This poor family that has gone through soooo many challenges needs support and encouragement! 

Could you please bless and show the love of Christ? Every little gift of love is a huge blessing for this sweet family!Elijah dreams to start walking! We really hope that the surgery will be successful and the baby's dream will come true! We ask you to pray earnestly for the Lord to send all the necessary means to the boy and his precious family. God gives peace and calm in the heart of the parents and Elijah. That God himself led the surgery and bless the hands of doctors. His precious life is valuable and in God's mighty hands.May the Lord be glorified through this operation, and all may see the goodness, power  and mighty of our Savior!!!

Delayed surgery

 Thank you so much for your prayers and financial support! By the grace of the Lord, little Elijah is still alive!

  But every day he gets worse ... Now the right hand began to function poorly and the kid can only say 3-4 words per day. His brain is slowly dying off ... :( The surgery was postponed in November because the baby fell ill again. Then he was in contact with sick of measles. Then, for about a month, the baby was in the hospital and the doctors expected measles to manifest. But thank God, Elijah has no measles! Then again pneumonia and resuscitation. Because of these diseases, the boy still can not get operated. Therefore, the surgery was postponed to January, in the hope that the baby will be better. Today the poor boy is at home and the doctors hope that the home environment will improve his condition. 

  Please, pray for God's mercy to little Elijah. God knows better when to do the surgery. Pray that the faith of the parents will be strengthened and they will be closer to the Lord in these difficult days. That God will give strength to endure all difficulties and His perfect peace in the hearts.

Little boy feels not well... Attacks of epilepsy do not stop. In addition, he acquired another disease due to hormonal drugs. Cushing's disease. He is rapidly gaining weight, which is not good for the baby. We were told that it is very dangerous to perform the surgery for him in such state. The baby spends most of the time in the hospitals. :(

We talked with several neurosurgeon specialists. And all are talking about one thing, the baby needs brain surgery... The other day, Kiev experts said that they are ready to do the surgery! So very fast! Thus, the baby is preparing for it and will soon be sent to Kiev. We don`t know the details yet.

Please, pray that God will prepare the precious baby for the surgery, his body, spirit and mind. Also so that God would give His perfect peace in the hearts of parents. That the name of the Lord be glorified through this situation. God loves Elijah and comforts him. He had a dreams at night several times that Angels came to him. Recently, he dreamed that there was a lot of light from above and many angels came to him and they had dinner with him. Oh, my! How lovely! It comforts the heart to seeing the love of God to the little lovie. ♥♥♥

Hope for little Elijah...

Our hearts are absolutely broken these days...I can not find words to describe what we feel these days. My heart is squeezing from indescribable pain. It beyond words... My eyes are full of tears.  It hurts. Very much...

  Many of you know (from Facebook posts) about the situation of the little Elijah and thanks to God's grace, many hot prayers and generous donations, the kid is still alive...

About six months ago or so, the kid was an active boy, played games, laughed and lived like all the children. But over time, he became worse. We began to notice strange things in the behavior of the little boy.

We saw how he got worse every day ... The boy was very tired, every 15 minutes there were epileptic seizures, because of seizures he could not sleep, he started talking badly, there were days when his body refused food, he could not swallow and all the food went back, the body did not obey the child, he could not walk, fell constantly, could not sit, began to lose sight... He was in intensive care many times for this period... Not once we thought that we had lose little angel...He could not breathe and the doctors used an oxygen mask. Doctors fighted for his precious life. Thank God, he is alive today!

It is difficult to convey all the pain that we experience in these difficult days, and especially the parents who both are orphans... Elijah has been found the brain cyst(not confirmed today), and then Rasmussen's encephalitis. Inflammation of the cerebral cortex.

                                 

The doctor gives a disappointing prognosis and says that everything is very bad ... 😢 And he told the mother to prepare for the worst ... The condition of Elijah deteriorates VERY quickly...😓 Day by day.. The situation is VERY critical. The little boy slowly goes away...We know this baby from the first months of his life. And it is scary to think he may will go away today or tomorrow...😭 Elijah is slowly dying...

The doctor says that Elijah is the first patient in his practice, which makes it difficult to treat the boy. Doctors fought for his precious life and did everything they could ...

Later little Elijah was sent to Kiev for a medical examination,  further and better treatment... He became worse... Besides all the terrible symptoms, the little boy has a pneumonia...😥

 For today, no medications help him. The neurosurgeon doctor says that sweet boy needs to do the surgery, delete half of the brain because the medications are powerless... He says if the surgery is not done then the other part of the brain will stop functioning as well... 😰😭

We need to raise $4000 US for a med.tests, a surgery, on medicines, diapers, food, transportation, consultation with specialists and various expenses. His mother is scared of the surgery very much. No doubt it would be scary for any person...

The neurosurgeon in Kyiv said that he had already operated on several children with encephalitis and the surgeries were successful. Children live a full life. His first surgery he did with a specialist neurosurgeon from New York. They are ready to operate Elijah in November.

He also said that the boy can be sent to Germany for treatment and they give direction. Next week we meet with specialists in neurosurgery from Israel. Please, pray that God will give wisdom and the right decision.

This week, little boy is being prescribed to go home to treat pneumonia at home(he can`t be in touch with kids and there are no place at hospital) and get ready for surgery so that he is healthy and ready for it. If he is sick with any infectious disease the surgery will not take place.

 

We do not know what the Lord prepared for this sweet family. They are going through a VERY difficult time now. 💔The Lord knows all the experiences and HUGE troubles... We pray that God will arrange everything and send Elijah where he needs to be.

Many of you love this precious angel what is a great encouragement for his parents. ♥♥♥ Please, keep praying for the healing of the poor boy. That God strengthened the faith of parents, give perfect peace in hearts and gave them the strength to go through everything. His mom Stella feels exhausted from sleepless nights. Also, that the Lord will open His will in the treatment of the baby, for wisdom and right decision of doctors, and for the needed funds. PLEASE, pray for a miracle, God`s mercy to the precious boy and his family. Pray for God’s glory to shine upon Elijah that God will be glorified through this situation. His precious life is valuable and in God's mighty hands...

We have something VERY special, beautiful and heartwarming for you...Yana and Sasha have welcomed their firstborn to the world, a baby girl named Nadiya, Nadya(Hope). They call her Nadiyka. What a gorgeous family! Sooo very excited for this sweet couple!!! ♥♥♥

This is amazing blessing in the BOM family!!!Daddy and mommy love very much their precious daughter! It warms our hearts to see their tender love and care to their newborn. And little Nadiyka is everyone's favorite!!! ;) What a beautiful and lovely blessing in the BOM family!!!

Doctors were delighted with how wonderful Sasha cared about his wife during childbirth. What a beautiful testimony of God`s grace and love! Yana's birth was very difficult. But thanks to the wonderful doctors, the support of the husband and the grace of God, the darling daughter is alive and well, and Yana feels wonderful! God is soooo very good!!!

Please, remember this lovely family in your prayers.That God would have filled their spiritual and physical needs. That they both grow spiritually in love for God and for each other. And that God's will was done in their precious lives.

It`s a girl!

Yes!!! This sweet family is expecting a girl!!! ♥ Yay!! Kolya and Zhenya will have a third baby. We are so excited about little precious girl, finally! We have too many boys. lol

Both, Zhenya and Kolya are former orphans, who spent their childhood in orphanages. They both are very young. And right now this family has a lot of physical, spiritual and emotional difficulties... About this, a little later...
 Please, lift up this lovely family with us in fervent prayer! Pray for the health of Zhenya and her little daughter. The baby should be born in August. Mommy has some health problems. Therefore the baby can be born earlier or Zhenya can lose her any day...

Nursery Room

Hello everyone!

 Ta-da! Here is our Nursery Room! It is done! Isn't it beautiful? :) We are soooo very excited what God has done through you all!

 For a very long time I was going to give an update about Nursery Room, one of our projects. But for many, many different reasons, I was not able... Forgive me, please.

Children have many different stuffed toys, developing books, musical instruments and many more.

Since the funds were quickly provided. We started immediately!In a short time has been done a lot of work and the parents could use the room already. And we are gradually continued to do rest of the work and other details.

Cozy and cute place to sleep for little ones.

Beds can move over and make a low that kids not fall down.

Play area. Kids can draw, play puzzles, anything. I really like that the 2 tables can be moved apart if necessary.

Place for breastfeeding newborn.

Oh, I love these clouds!The white shelves we were sent here. I thought, hmm it would be great to remake them and hang in the Nursery room. There you can put the toys, books, photos and much more. So, it were made the clouds. I think it turned out cute. What do you think? :)

Also, it took me a long time to find the sun lamp. Oh, I was thrilled when I found! Children love the sun! ;)

In a previous blog post, if you read, I wrote about the photo frame. Do you remember how God sent exactly what I was looking for? :) So, here is what we have done. Since we have many kids. I wanted to put each separately. But we had to place them on some photos with others.We believe there will be more children in the future. After all, the church is growing! :) Will have to look for another picture frame or come up with something else. Ha ha! I think, I already have some ideas for the future... ;)

We all love, love, love our Nursery Room! The cute and lovely nest for little kids and their parents! We all and especially parents are so very grateful for this special area! The room is very tiny for so many little ones. But it is much better then have nothing! It is warm in cold season, cozy, cute and adorable. Kids and moms have everything necessary.

Surprise for pregnant mommies

Some time ago we had a wonderful surprise for our pregnant mothers, Baby Shower! None of them didn't even realize what awaited them. There was some worries about Alyona. We prepared. 

But she was not feeling well and it seemed that she will not come. Of course, we were going to congratulate her in any case, before or after birth. But we so badly wanted to surprise and amaze her with this special event! Later, we didn't even expect that she will come.

And on the last day we found out that Alyona was better, and that she is going to come! What?! This was so wonderful news! 

And so the day has come!All were in trembling anticipation to surprise moms.

Of course the ladies were excited and Olga even cried from a surprise ...

It was so adorable, when Andrew started to calm Diana when she burst into tears. This care and charm, he took over from his mom Olga  :)

After hundreds of photos the fun began...

The winner is the one, who first puts the diaper on the balloon. It was very funny and hilarious! Brothers, who do not have babies, did not know how to dress a diaper. Well. After the game they learned it! Ha ha!

Hilarious game! It is necessary to blindfolded to feed a person baby food. The winner is the one who finishes first. Look at Olga's face! Ha ha!

Then we guessed, what date both babies have to be born.

It was so sweet, when the kids also wanted to guess. ♥

All were divided into two teams. They blindly had to change a "dirty" diaper on the clean. It was fun!

All left their wishes for babies. Then we put in a frame. It turned out cute as for me. :)

In the end, after the sweets, Olga and Alyona enjoyed the gifts.

It is a little late blog post. Because both boys were born already. My apologize!Too much things needed to do... Alyona gave birth a boy 2 weeks ago. And Olga almost a week ago :) They both were named Maksim. Both babies healthy, stay warm and safe with their loving mothers ;) We would love to thank you all, who made this day so special in lives of both young ladies! They both were thrilled and so happy! Thank you very much for donations, sending baby clothes and baby items!Thanks your loving gifts they had awesome time with closest friends and our family church. BOM was able to provide all necessary items for babies. Both ladies could see and feel love of Jesus what touched their hearts and made teary... Thank you very much! ♥♥♥

We were delighted that our surprise turned out successful! :)))

Update about Anya and her son

Many of you love Anya and her precious son Dima as many other young people. This is such a blessing! :) I would like to give an update and greatly thank you all for prayers about young mom and her sweet son!God is so good!!!

First. Anya taking the medication her spleen moved away from the rib by 2 millimeters a while ago. Later she made a ultrasound. The young lady was so happy to hear that her spleen moved away from the rib on such distance that she does not require surgery at all! This is so awesome! Anna does not feel the pain any more! Amazing, amazing blessing! Praise God!!!

Second. Honestly, I do not know how many doctors we visited to help Anya with a vision. Each doctor says something else, and it's hard to make a deciding... 

Anya is very frequent headaches, and many times she lost consciousness. Once she lost consciousness, when she came into trolleybus. When she woke up. Her first question was, Where is Dima? Good that someone grabbed her son, when Anya fell down. She hit a little foot. But not much. Thank God that did not happen something worse! There were moments, when the BOM team and young people did not leave her alone. Since it was dangerous.Many times called an ambulance when she was ill. 

Finally we found a clinic, where Anya has done a lot of medical researches. We learned that sweet girl began to lose vision already in the right eye. :( The doctor said that it is necessary to wait when a cataract on the right eye will be even more that they could do the surgery on both eyes. This will happen in 5 months. Also, the doctor prescribed to wear glasses. "Oh, I see!" Anya was delighted, when put on glasses.

She looks cute in glasses. Isn't she? :)

And update about her little son Dima. 

The kid began to walk! What a great joy for the mother! Dima did not stand entirely on the feet, but tried to walk on the toes. Thanks to massages and special procedures at hospital, he began to fully stand on foot and walk! Anya is so happy!

 But your prayers still needed. Little kid has Hydrocephalus. A weeks ago he underwent an MRI and the doctor found that the liquid went to Dima`s brain. Also, head circumference became bigger. This sickness brings lots of troubles for little boy. :( 

Anya feels tired spend many weeks and months at hospitals. Every month Anya is at hospital. A week ago doctor gave the medicine and Dima became worse. Doctors did not allowed to be mom with her baby. Anya did not sleep several nights but spent near reanimation... Little boy was in very critical condition... He began to vomit, temperature, frothing at the mouth. Again started epilepsy...He nearly died! But little Dima is much better today thank God!Next week they should be at home. Praise God!

Some time ago we rented an apartment for Yaroslava and her daughter, who were in a very difficult and desperate situation. It so happened that everything was adjusted in Yaroslava`s life thanks your prayers. :) She found a permanent job or alternative housing. Yaroslava was very grateful for the help, support and moved out.  But the Lord had other plans. :)

At this time, Anya was in a rural hospital with Dima, where he almost died. We insisted Anya immediately went to the city hospital. The interesting thing is that the doctor, who almost "killed" Dima did not want to let go of Anya and give her a referral to another hospital. He is often drunk and does not fulfill his obligations. The reality of rural hospitals...

This city hospital which is slightly better than the countryside. 

Mother of Anya drinks often. Not once kicked her out of the house at night with the baby. Not one night poor girl spent on the street. Having studied the situation of Anya, we could not allow to happen something not good with the baby... That is why we offered her move into the city. That her son received a proper treatment. And that she could sleep peacefully and safely not afraid that today after yet another brawl and scandal, she will be cast out on the street with her child.

So, Anya with her precious babe live peacefully in the apartment several months already. She is so happy she can call ambulance at any time. And it will come soon but not several hours like you have to wait in village. She can go to hospital where is better treatment for her son. Anya happy she can stay safe and sound. :) 

Lord miraculously sent funds for housing for Anya, when money were running out. So, loving mother and her baby almost a year can live in safety. :) Also BOM provides all the necessary medicines for kid and food for his mother. Because the Children's Hospital does not feed the parents, they have to find food themselves. Thanks to your generous donations, sweet girl is not hungry and her son receives medical treatment!Thank you so much for your prayers and support! Who knows what would have happened today with little Dima and Anya without your care and love ...See, what your donations doing to save the precious lives...Our thanks never will be enough! 

Please, continue to pray for the young girl, who is often confronted with different challenges and needs help. Pray for her precious son. Pray for a miracle for little boy and his mother. The Lord gave strength to endure all the difficulties, and Anya see His grace, mercy and presence in it. My love to all! ♥

Heartbreaking truth

Honestly I don't know from what to start... Because I feel sad and heartbreaking. It hurts and disappoints. I simply can not find words.

A while ago we raised funds for Sudarik family. They had a great need with housing. They had no where to go with their sweet newborn Artem!

We were super excited that so many people generously donated! Also we were able to find an apartment very soon and we could to renovate a little to prepare the lovely nest. Very soon precious Artem arrived to lovely, warm and safe home. It was such amazing and such a wonderful blessing!!! Our hearts were full with pure joy for this sweet family! We were so very happy they were safe, saved from hunger, terrible cold, had lovely nest and all together with their newborn son. We saw God`s hand in many small details! Our joy was no end!!!

But Ruslan and Marina suffered. Like a lot of young families, they were not ready to live together... They suffered emotionally very much. Quarrels, fights, tears, disagreement, etc. We helped as best we could. Gave consultation, advised, prayed, fasted. But one day Marina just left the home... Since then, we have not seen her any more. We tried to find her to drive to other cities, call, trying to find any connection. But all this is to no avail. :( All that we know. Marina is alive and her son Artyom with his mother. Both Ruslan and Marina live separately.

It breaks my heart... I`m sad that we could not save this family. I know we can not save all. We can not help all around. But knowing both young people in person, it is heartbreaking... Their wounded hearts only Jesus Christ can heal. Only through Him they will be able to forgive each other. Only in Him they can find rest in the souls and hearts.Please, remember them both in your prayers!

But the apartment is not empty. :) Today there live two wonderful young people, who have nowhere to go. Vova and Sasha are very pleased that the Lord has given them housing. Also often other young men stay for a night, few days or weeks, who need a temporary help to stay somewhere.

 Recently we were approached by a young man, who asked to stay temporarily. Because the dormitory of trade school, where he studies is closed for the summer and he has nowhere to go. 

Cause of God does not stop! This house became a refuge and safety for many young people already. :)

We are so very grateful, who helped before and today still helps that not only Sasha and Vova, but other young guys have a place, where to lay their heads! A sweet and lovely place where they feel safe and warm in cold seasons!

Huge enormous thank you for your kindness and generosity! Many thanks for your kindness and loving heart for these young men! Many young people simply have nowhere to go! Many of them are simply homeless. Thank you! Thank you very much that you are such a great blessing to them!

Update of the Nursery Room

Look what a wonderful blessings we have for the Nursery Room, our current project! Yay!We are moving forward little by little. So, we finished with the floor and painted the walls.

What a beautiful shelving unit or hutch we have! We can place there toys, games, diapers, blankets, other word all kids stuff. It is so cute!

And finally we have beds and tables. Little kiddies have place to sleep! Awesome! Such a great blessing for moms, when they come to church!

 His younger brother Andrew repeats everything is doing the older brother :) When he saw that Edick is "busy" he decided to help to make the tables also. They both were so excited! So priceless!

When we placed the tables. Edick asked, "And where are the chairs?"
What?! Oh, how it could happen? I have been so very, very busy that simply forget to buy chairs! Ha ha! So, we are going to provide it soon :)

Also we bought beddings, blankets and pillows for little ones.

Kids have started to use these cozy and cute beds. It is so wonderful they have place where to sleep and rest!

Do you see this carpet on the floor?I was amazed when opened the box one day! Some generous lady sent this carpet to the Nursery Room. She had no idea what colors we will use! I love! Love it! I`m so excited to see how colors matching! The very same colors as we have on tables and beds! And how God works through little details and you can see His loving hand through it :) He is so good!
