Journey and impressions about US

I`m so very excited to share with you about mission trip and amazing journey I had in November/December! Finally, after 7 months I can share my impressions and delight about US! ;)

I'm sorry that it took me so very long! Every day we are super busy and it's getting harder to find at least 5-8 hours for the blog post. This blog post took me the half of the year! It seems I need a secretary! Ha ha! I have so very much excitement, impressions and I'm afraid that something is not to be missed or forgotten. The hardest part was to choose the right pictures among a few thousands. ;)

So, visiting different churches, various groups, meeting with many beautiful brothers and sisters in Christ and sharing what God does through BOM in Ukraine.

God greatly blessed in many ways! It was so precious to meet in person those who are praying for you several years already. You have no idea but when you learn it humbles your heart. ♥ Thank you dear friends! Or meet in person sweet people who you met through online. This is so wonderful blessing! 

So, the adventures began! The plane in Borispol took off much later. Therefore, upon arrival in France, and we had about 20 people going to Los Angeles, we were catastrophically late for the flight! We all the group ran like crazy! It was funny. It was so nice and lovely when the airport staff stood with "Los Angeles" signboards and directed where to run. Yes, yes to run instead of to walk! It turns out the plane in airport Charles De Gaulle was waiting for us when group of about 20 people will arrive from Boryspil! Wow! What a service! It was so nice!

The airport impressed me with its beauty, sparkling gerlandes in this period of the year and many things that fascinate the view. And I managed to take a few snapshots and even make a small video without missing an opportunity. ;) Craziness. Right? Hmm. Who knows when I'll be here again? :) And then I ran without feeling my legs. I could only see this in the movies, people running at the airport. And now I had to go through it myself! Now I remember it with a smile. It was fun!

Interesting and unusual lounges to wait a flight and rest.

I loved to use the camera and watch where we were flying! The flight has landscape cameras and it was amazing to watch! Wow! So neat!
                             

My heart did not stop knocking in excitement.I flew to America again? Is it true???Is`t not a dream? You will not believe it, but I pinched myself several times to make sure that I do not sleep! Ha ha!

The longer I stood and waited for my bag, the more I realized that it had not come with me.Oh, no! Not again... When I approached to the airport employee and explained about the lost bag. He asked, "Are you Alla Vasilieva?" What? How can it be? How does he know my name??? It turns out that the worker already had a list of lost bags from France. It was so cool! Somewhere around 24 hours, even late at night my bag was brought to the address! Wow! Another great moment of service I was very surprised!
And I did not feel a jet lag again! God was so good to me!I was just tired because I could not asleep for 24 hours of flight. But in the morning I felt great!

So, I again could see the ocean!I was amazed that at the end of November the weather was so beautiful! The water in the ocean should be cold. Right? It was almost the end of autumn. I saw how several children swam. Should be "walruses" and not afraid of cold water, I thought...

                           

Do you know what? The water in the ocean was warmer than in spring when I saw it for the first time in my life! Indescribable beauty and delight made me cry... I could not hold back the tears of gratitude to God for another opportunity to see the ocean, for the beauty and for those dear friends, who made this possible... Thanks to God for what lies ahead of me, so much all the unknown and beautiful ... For so many wonderful and generous friends, who have brought this amazing gift for which I am immensely grateful and happy!Thank you very much!!! ♥♥♥

My dream was to visit a planetarium somewhere... And it came true in Los Angeles!I was able to learn about stars, meteorites. Even see a piece of the planet of the month brought by the astronauts to earth! Very interesting place. Also I was very impressed by the show! It was incredibly cool!

"Lift up your eyes on high, and behold who hath created these things, that bringeth out their host by number: he calleth them all by names by the greatness of his might, for that he is strong in power; not one faileth." (Isaiah 40:26)

It's so awesome to find out what is created by our wonderful Creator! After all, through this we can learn more about the power and mighty of God and admired by His creation!

What? A two-floor train??? Wow! I'm wondering how it looks inside ;)

I had a wonderful opportunity to see and celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday in America! I was eagerly awaiting this day! Hooray, I learned how to make a pumpkin pie! We do not make pumpkin pies in Ukraine. Such a great experience!

Some time ago I was presented a book by a sweet my friend. Name is "The KGB`s most wanted" Learning of what Josef Bondarenko faced during arrest, imprisonment, and loss of freedom for almost ten years in the merciless state of the communist driven society of the U.S.S.R.

The book impressed me so much that I read it in a few days! I have never read books so quickly. This book will help you learn the history of the U.S.S.R, understand the culture of Ukraine, encourages, inspires and motivates to great steps in the faith in God! This is the wake up call we all need. This is the real deal!Must read!

The wonderful blessing is that I had the privilege of  meeting with his daughter Vera, beautiful and inspiring sister in Christ!I was so very blessed!We had amazing time together!

Baby Shower for two mommies!

As we are expecting 2 precious babies, boy and girl. We made a Baby Shower for two mommies. :)

I'm so very happy that the decoration of the hall took us only a few hours, not days, as it was many times before! We searched for information and everything necessary for this special holiday, then all by ourselves, cut out, drew, made crafts, etc. Although it took a very long time, but it was worth it to bring a pure joy and make a special holiday for mommies! ♥ This time we were helped by the fact that I was able to buy many things in the US in the Dollar Tree and send it to Ukraine while I was there. I loved this store! Thanks a lot to those, who helped to make it happen! I was greatly surprised you can buy so many cute and beautiful necessary stuff! So I already have experience shopping in the Dollar Tree and send parsels to Ukraine from America! Ha Ha! ;)  But and if it's serious, it helped me a lot to save time, energy and nerves.

So, we had such a wonderful and amazing time! We played funny games. It was hilarious!

Both young ladies live very poor and are not able to buy the most necessary items. BOM was able to bless sweet mommies with clothes, diapers and many different items for their babies. It was such a pleasure to see their joy and admiration!It is such a great blessing to bring joy to many souls, to see them smiling, laughing and happy!

Everyone was surprised take a small gift paper bag home. Candies, like a pacifier. It was so sweet! Everyone loved this special time! We thank Jesus for such a great time we all had together! It was amazing! Please, pray for the health of both mothers and their babies.  Can`t wait to meet them! ♥

It`s a girl!

Yes!!! This sweet family is expecting a girl!!! ♥ Yay!! Kolya and Zhenya will have a third baby. We are so excited about little precious girl, finally! We have too many boys. lol

Both, Zhenya and Kolya are former orphans, who spent their childhood in orphanages. They both are very young. And right now this family has a lot of physical, spiritual and emotional difficulties... About this, a little later...
 Please, lift up this lovely family with us in fervent prayer! Pray for the health of Zhenya and her little daughter. The baby should be born in August. Mommy has some health problems. Therefore the baby can be born earlier or Zhenya can lose her any day...

Another wonderful project is done!

We are so excited that weeks ago we have done one more wonderful project!Yay!

What an incredible meetings we have with all graduates that days! Wow!

 It was so beautiful, sweet, heartwarming and sad at same time. We shared parting words in God's word, presented Bibles and photos.

We have many photos in archive when we together spent time during Bible lessons. So, it was nice surprise for them  :) Oh, how they were excited!!! It was so sweet to observe how they were thrilled to see themselve so small years ago. ♥

The young people laughted and pointed at their pictures showing to each other. Love their expressions! We hope it will help them to see how they are special and beautiful. We also hope it will help them to remember great and sweet moments and stay in their hearts forever.

Now they became beautiful young man and woman and it is sad they growing up so fast...😔 In the end we presented kitchen utensils and blankets.

They were so happy and thankful! Praise God!!!

But how everyone was delighted when they saw the little Yaroslav, Nadya's son! Everyone carried him in their arms, they played. Each of the girls wanted to drive him in the stroller. In general, Yaroslav had many beautiful nannies that days. 👶 All these children are so beautiful and they so lack a simple communication, a kind word, a strong embrace and a loving gaze. They are hunger of fellowship! All the children in every orphanage asked us, "When we will be graduates, will you bring us such gifts as well?" Lovely and so very precious children... ♥

These are all children from very poor and disadvantaged families.They all return for the summer holidays to families where alcohol, hunger, violence, murder and much more...

Sweet young people... 

Praying God will give us chance and oportunity to keep in touch with these young souls. We will miss them a lot!

He is free...

We are grieving these days with our brother in Christ Misha, who has lost his brother few days ago... 

Andriy was homeless often and he got sick with TB a while ago. Few days ago his brother Misha called us and asked to pray for Andriy because he was dying... He was so very bad. We were horrified to hear this news because we knew this young guy and we know how awful this sickness. How many lives it took away... It was heartbreaking to see how Misha suffered, worry and feel about his brother. He did the best he could.
Both boys are orphans, there are no parents, no relatives, not even friends. Sadly, we don`t have Andriy`s photo. His brother is working, but these funds were not enough to feed both and pay rent for housing.

Andriy could no longer get out of bed for several days, he coughed with blood, had very low blood pressure, he was very pale and very skinny. He was very sick with an open form of TB... Misha called an ambulance 4 times. All refused to take the young guy to the hospital, saying that there was no point because he was dying, he had a few days or hours left... Can you imagine what felt and think both guys at that moment??? Alone, without support and abandoned to the mercy of fate... Is this fair?
The next day poor guy was finally taken to the hospital. Doctors did X-ray, all the necessary tests. But unfortunately he passed away the next day... :(((

BOM helped with funds to help Misha take his brother to the last path. Andrei lived on so much poverty that there was not even shoes to bury him ... 

Some years ago, when Andrew came to church, he looked and was dressed awfully. Pastor Misha was so sad and could not look at him. He took off his shoes and gave it to Andrei. It was just one and last pair of shoes that our pastor had. Later when we met Andrew he said. I was so ashamed, I felt terrible, but no one helped me, only you pastor took off your shoes and gave it to me. And Andrew started to cry... It touched our hearts and gave a good lesson. Sometimes we do not see the result at once, but God works in the hearts of people.

We feel heartbreaking and very sad these days... How many orphans did not live up to 30 years old? BOM knows not one situation that orphans do not live to this age dying completely alone ...

But at same time we celebrate victory in Jesus! We are so grateful to everyone, who prayed for Andrew these days. We published early on facebook. But God had another plan. Andriy is FREE! He no longer feels pain, he has no tears, he is not alone, but with his Lord and Savior! The day before his death, he received Jesus Christ as his Savior! Praise God!!!Now he rests in the Heaven with his Heavenly Father and is comforted under His wing of love. Now Andriy enjoys the presence of God and everything heartbreaking and terrifying is behind.

We are so thankful to everyone, who blessed the young guy Misha to help him bury his brother showing him love and console in these heavy days... We are so thankful for sweet notes of love you left for Misha on facebook. He saw how many people around the world praying for him and he is NOT alone! He cried when we read notes... He said, it is so important for him at these difficult time... We try do not leave Misha alone and take him everywhere it is possible...Thank you very much for all your Christian love and care!

Here is a short video of Misha's thanks for prayers and financial support. He feels your prayers. :) He shocked that his brother has gone so fast. He grieves and at same time has peace in heart. And he is happy that he will meet his brother in the Heaven some day.

The Lord feeds the orphans

We are so very excited to share with you all amazing blessing we have!

The director of the Children`s House phoned us and asked for help with the food some time ago. Because the institution does not have enough money for food.

These precious kiddies are so very sweet! They love visitors so much! Their hugs and kisses melt your heart. ♥ Very sad... But many of them are from very poor families, drugs or alcohol addiction... And many of these sweet kids transfer to orphanages when they get age 6 years old. :(

We prayed and asked the Lord to help to feed these sweet children.

We are so happy the Lord provides necessary funds to bless these little souls!

These little children will have food for a long time now! BOM was able to purchase rice, buckwheat, flour, sugar, sunflower oil, peas, pasta and more. It is over ton of food!!! Wow!!!

THANK YOU VERY MUCH to bless little ones! Thanks a lot to care and love them! Many, many thanks to those, who made it possible and we praise God for His goodness and mercy!!!!

God is good all the time!!! :)

Precious Boys Have Caring Hands!

A while ago we have started a project raising funds for sweet boys, who needed Extra Hands. 

We have been blown away with goodness and mercy of God! Just in a week we raised $4,390! Wow! Wow! Our God is mighty!!! It is enough to pay nannies for 6 months friends!Thanks alot for your generous hearts!You all are AMAZING!

Delight and joy in the orphanage

We have such an exciting news! BOM has done one more big project few days ago! Awesome! We were able to purchase 6 new couches, carpet and vacuum cleaner for the orphanage!Praise God!!! The orphanage before had broken couches and in terrible condition. 

Girls were so delighted and so very happy! They admired and rejoiced! It was so heartwarming to watch their expressions. ♥
The orphanage administration was so grateful and amazed! The director not only shook hand brother Misha, but also hugged him. He also kissed my hand. It happened so unexpectedly! I felt so uncofortable! Oh, my! He held out his hand to me, I thought to thank us but he kissed instead. Another employee kissed and hugged me and was ready to kneel before brother Misha! Can you imagine?! Oh no! No! This is from the Lord!!! We are only His servants! This reminds me of the Scripture in Acts 14:12-15, 18

"And they called Barnabas, Jupiter; and Paul, Mercurius, because he was the chief speaker. 

Then the priest of Jupiter, which was before their city, brought oxen and garlands unto the gates, and would have done sacrifice with the people. 

Which when the apostles, Barnabas and Paul, heard of, they rent their clothes, and ran in among the people, crying out, 

And saying, Sirs, why do ye these things? We also are men of like passions with you, and preach unto you that ye should turn from these vanities unto the living God, which made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all things that are therein: 

And with these sayings scarce restrained they the people, that they had not done sacrifice unto them."

It means everything for the sweet girls and staff of the orphanage!!! For BOM it helps to open more and more wide the door of the Gospel showing God`s love and care with precious souls!Often God give us chance to share about Jesus Christ not only with children but with staff of the orphanage too.

Words cannot express their delight and joy! I think a short video will show you more :) Girls saying "Thank you" on Russian(in our region we speak both languages, Russian and Ukrainian) and on English in the end, if you can understand. ;)

Seeing old and broken furniture everyday, it depresses and disheartened. But who does not rejoice in new furniture? ;) Can you imagine how the girls were pleased with these new things???

We are so grateful to the church Proclamation in Pennsylvania, who made it possible!!! Our thanks never will be enough!!! Thank you so very much!!!!! God is so good blessing these beautiful souls!!! Girls were like in the Heaven so happy! ♥

We are super excited!!!! God is soooo good all the time!!!

I'll start from the beginning. A few weeks ago, we were informed that we can no longer use PayPal. Oh no!!! Again??? As you know exactly one year ago, we had this problem. But thank God everything was decided by God's grace! We are so grateful to the person, who helped BOM with this issue. Our gratitude never will be enough!!!

So, when we were informed this news. I was ok. But the next day, the fear came into my heart. Oh, this sinful and weak flesh... Hundreds of questions were spinning in my head. What to do? Where to find the way? What, if this will not work out for us and many more. I felt so helpless. But I kept repeating in my heart, I should trust my God, it means He is preparing something special... I always remembered one of my favorite Bible verse (Romans 8:28)"And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."  I should trust, even it is difficult, even if there is no hope and no way out, I should trust my Saviour. Even it is not easy But I should. The next day, the perfect peace of God and calm filled my heart. I am so thankful Him! I "knew" that our Heavenly Father has prepared something special. But what??? I did not know what to do, where to write... There were some thoughts, but I felt that this is not what God wants for us... 

Thus we have for you a great announcement! :) We are so very excited that it seems that my heart will jump out of my chest and I want jump with joy!It happened so fast that I can not believe it! My fear about some of the issues have been completely in vain! That's what I was afraid or worried, God showed me mercy and grace. Through small details I see the hand and will of God in this matter! This has just blown my mind how God works!!! We are thrilled and so excited to work with our new partners and friends, Ting Ministris!

Dear friends, if you have any difficulties with the health, at work, housing, family, friends, neighbors, children, anywhere. Just trust Him! All work together for good!!! Our Heavenly Father is good and loving! He's an amazing alive God!!! We are so blessed and  humble to serve Him!!! Just tears. Tears of joy are streaming down my cheeks from the goodness and mercy of the Lord Jesus. My love to all ♥♥♥

Nursery Room

Hello everyone!

 Ta-da! Here is our Nursery Room! It is done! Isn't it beautiful? :) We are soooo very excited what God has done through you all!

 For a very long time I was going to give an update about Nursery Room, one of our projects. But for many, many different reasons, I was not able... Forgive me, please.

Children have many different stuffed toys, developing books, musical instruments and many more.

Since the funds were quickly provided. We started immediately!In a short time has been done a lot of work and the parents could use the room already. And we are gradually continued to do rest of the work and other details.

Cozy and cute place to sleep for little ones.

Beds can move over and make a low that kids not fall down.

Play area. Kids can draw, play puzzles, anything. I really like that the 2 tables can be moved apart if necessary.

Place for breastfeeding newborn.

Oh, I love these clouds!The white shelves we were sent here. I thought, hmm it would be great to remake them and hang in the Nursery room. There you can put the toys, books, photos and much more. So, it were made the clouds. I think it turned out cute. What do you think? :)

Also, it took me a long time to find the sun lamp. Oh, I was thrilled when I found! Children love the sun! ;)

In a previous blog post, if you read, I wrote about the photo frame. Do you remember how God sent exactly what I was looking for? :) So, here is what we have done. Since we have many kids. I wanted to put each separately. But we had to place them on some photos with others.We believe there will be more children in the future. After all, the church is growing! :) Will have to look for another picture frame or come up with something else. Ha ha! I think, I already have some ideas for the future... ;)

We all love, love, love our Nursery Room! The cute and lovely nest for little kids and their parents! We all and especially parents are so very grateful for this special area! The room is very tiny for so many little ones. But it is much better then have nothing! It is warm in cold season, cozy, cute and adorable. Kids and moms have everything necessary.

Extra Hands for Saving Lives-new project

   Bible says...Open thy mouth for the dumb in the cause of all such as are appointed to destruction. Open thy mouth, judge righteously, and plead the cause of the poor and needy. (Proverbs 31:8-9)

  We do what we can, as far as God allows... One of our services is for children with special needs. BOM for several years already hires 4 nannies, who as loving mothers take care of the boys. Feed them, dress, change diapers, bathe, play with them, sing songs, learn to walk, laugh or even give just a simple hug. That's what everyone wants and every child deserves.  Simple love. And every child is precious in God's eyes. ♥

  Some time ago the BOM has received rewards for cooperation with a mental institution for the past many years. I think, 13 or 15 years from now? Honestly, we do not count how many years and how much we have helped. Because, no matter how much we doing, it is still very small... So much we have not done yet and how much we still did not help .... We understand that we are dust of the earth, and our doings is nothing compared with what God is doing. It is your reward! We cannot do anything without your love and participation :)

  It was very sweet and courtesy on the part of the administration institution. Melted our hearts. But the greatest reward is to see our boys' healthy, happy and alive! Yes, alive!

We are starting a new project caretakers could continue to do their job and take care of  these beautiful souls giving them their warmth, love, and do everything from the heart. This year, due to economic instability in Ukraine has been made order to cut many jobs. This way in the mental institution became even less nannies. It was hard before. Thus it became even much harder... Each time we come, and each time the administration warmly thanks for this wonderful support, extra nannies hands. These hands are invaluable!!! It is such a great help! What happens if we will not help? The boys will start die little by little... Do you think, this what God wants?

   Jesus said: "The thief(satan) cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. "

Don't you see how Satan steals peace in the hearts of men, how killing and destroying precious human lives in different ways today? God called us all to fight for precious souls. Each Christian has his own calling. I believe each of you fighting for someone's life. Dear Church of Christ we are all fighters!It is such a privilege to be a warrior of Christ, and to be in God's army!

These kids are abandoned and much neglect... These are children, who deserve love family, a Chance to live a beautiful meaningful life. A chance to go to school, play at the park. See the zoo, ride a horse, fly a kite. What is impossible here... Most of the boys are not available for adoption anymore. But They Deserve To Be Able to LIVE LIFE!!! These nannies are as a loving mothers for them. Only one who can give a love and care...

And so we're here, and we need your help, please. We need to raise $7,200-7,500 for 4 nanny for a year. Wow! This is a huge number! Every month salary for nannies is different. It depends on how many hours they worked during the day and work at night is also a little higher. We will need $600-625 each month in the next year. So we need and hope to collect half of the required funds $3,870 and minus $120 PayPal fee.

First. I came back from U.S. to Ukraine safe and sound! Yay!

Thank you very much for prayers!!! I was able to rest one or two days. And I started to do the affairs of mission as usual... So many things... I hoped to do blog posts being in US. But I have been super busy also! Ha ha! So, hopefully soon I will be able to give an update.
