They said: "YES"!

We are soooo excited and thrilled! Our hearts sing praise and glory to our Lord Jesus Christ! The heavens are singing and rejoicing.

Family Kozak, Olga and Sasha said: "YES" to the Lord! They expressed their desire to be baptized and follow the Lord! Praise God!!! 

It was a very emotional moment and a day in the life of this lovely family and for whole our church. What a great joy and awesome blessing!

"The like figure whereunto [even] baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ."

Stunning busy days

Praise ye the LORD. I will praise the LORD with [my] whole heart, in the assembly of the upright, and [in] the congregation.

We praise and glorify our Lord Jesus Christ!!! Our hearts sing His joyful and triumphantly! We have had SO many wonderful, awesome and blessed days with our friends missionaries. Lord  has blessed miraculously all the days and each visit! Everything was just amazing and so exciting. Oh, how I wish to tell you about EVERYTHING! But if I start to tell how much joy and blessing moments we had, it would take me a few weeks. :) So here are just pictures and little information.

We thank and praise our wonderful and great God and Creator of all these wonderful and such amazing moments that will remain forever in our hearts.I can not tell you all our  impressions and our whole joy that we have experienced in these special days. We were super busy but everything was just delightful  and stunning!!! :) Oh, how great and is so good our Lord Jesus!!!

Heavy but blessed

   First we would love to thank for many your prayers, for our brother Misha and his father.Tears leak as a stream, tears of the humble heart and great God's love, kindness and mercy.Thank you, our dear friends for your love and such kindness in these heavy days.Your Christian love simply melts our hearts and bring glory and praise to our Heavenly Father and Saviour.

  God hears your prayers, dear brothers and sisters in Christ!Thanks to your prayers the father of brother Misha is still alive. Though he is in very serious condition, but his heart still beats waiting for the last meeting with his son and a meeting with the Saviour in the Heaven. Also the Lord sent necessary finances that our pastor could go and see the father.It`s great blessing!Thank for your great love and kindness.

Praise the Lord for all His mercy and goodness!We are so blessed by His grace and astonish love!

Our pastor is on his way the second day already. Please, keep him in prayers and his father, Yuriy. Only God knows, how many days his father and our brother in Christ will be alive...Thanks.

   In these heavy days for our brother in the Christ and director of BOM needed to be solved, how to be, how to do correctly and right. The father on a death bed, it is necessary to be with him in recent days or hours of his life but he lives in thousands and thousands kilometers from here. And at this time we had only several days to say goodbye to graduates of orphanages, because then we wouldn't see them.These all things in one time and in two different countries... As though it was not sick and it is heart-breaking, the decision was made, first of all to say goodbye to graduates of orphanages, to tell them about the Lord, to give the last manuals and lead to the Lord, if God`s will. And it was the right decision, we believe! Yes, it was not easy but right.Our hearts are broken but God helped to do right decision and as the result, blessed . We prayed and asked that the Lord be merciful and prolong life to the father of brother Misha. So, we could visit orphanages during two days. The Lord  surprisingly blessed with huge blessing and the father of our director is still alive by mercy of Lord and thank your many prayers. Praise the Lord!

So, we could visit one more orphanage where there are graduates.It`s one of biggest orphanages.There are 31 graduating children, the 2 grades.

After a meeting, we could provide your huge gifts, showing your care about them. :)

The director (to the left of me) this orphanage was so struck! All employees of orphanage couldn't believe that blankets and utensils are for each the orphan. All were inspired, amazed and warmly thanked.

 

 Many children came running to look and admired looking what gifts graduates receive. Many small children asked. "Will you present too to us such gifts?" :) They were so sweet.

We had great time and were so happy that could provide these wonderful and so necessary gifts to these teenagers!

Please, pray...

   Our dear Friends, brothers and sisters in Christ, with the broken heart we ask you to pray for the father of our pastor Misha and director of BОМ. He is dying. Three months ago the Lord made a real miracle! We asked you to pray. The Lord heard many your prayers and prolonged life not only to the father of brother Misha, but also saved one of his relatives.We told you how the Lord answered on prayer (in the end of the post) and blessed brother Misha this very day that he could visit his beloved father.Nobody expected and didn't think at all that he will live still!

   But hard days came again... Tears, a grief, the broken heart, sorrow, pain, loss... It is so heavy to leave those whom you love and who is so dear to your heart. It`s so heavy to say goodbye to those you love so much...It`s breaks heart, there simply no words, eyes are full with tears...

   The father of our pastor and brother Misha doesn't stand up, doesn't eat, breathes by means of an oxygen mask. Doctors don't want him to admit to hospital, they speak that is useless, because some parts of  body already die off and his time came to leave life...

  The heavy for us that now we need to visit graduates, we have two more orphanages. The heart is simply tears asunder...Every day is dear for us not to miss graduating children. Otherwise we won't see them then...

  Please pray that we could meet graduates of two more orphanages and say goodbye to them also. That the Lord would solve everything and helped with it.

  We ask you to pray for brother Misha, cover him in many your prayers, God give him peace and comfort.Please, pray God will send enough for brother Misha to say goodbye to his father and by his own hand to close his eyes.Our pastor have no idea where to find finances to get there and back, he has no one kopecks...Please, pray God will provide...Only God can do a miracle.

God`s Word to orphans

Ok.The next day Friday after visitation of small ones, we could visit orphans at other orphanage and had Bible lesson as every time.

After prayer we sang a little and refreshed in their memory several Bible verses which we have learned with them before.We every time recollect that they remember Bible verses and it remain in their hearts forever.

Why we do it?Because Bible says:"Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word. Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee." Psalm 119:9;11

If we have verses in our hearts it keep us from sin, give encouragements, strength, faith, wisdom, peace, do right etc.Than oftener we read Bible (sincerely and with pure heart) all the more is our faith."So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." Romans 10:17

I Bible every time give advice to Christians. Do you want to have strong faith? Read Bible daily with all your heart!It is very simple and it is what Bible says! :)

One of my favourite verses:
 "This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success". Joshua 1:8

And children like it much to refresh verses, especially verse with gestures "O Lord, my strength and my fortress..." Jeremiah 16:19 which we learned here.

Next we recollected last story.That is was very interesting that they remembered the name of Boaz but could not remember name of Ruth.We were surprised and amazed that they remember Boaz!It is heavy to remember for them.Because names are Hebrew and these kids are with special needs.So, we repeat names with them too.But I think that ok and most of all important that they remember Bible stories and what God can do in their lives too. :)

At this time we told them a grand story about Debora.I love our "Debora"!Isn`t she beautiful? Masha was very  proud to play a role of Debora.She is very nice and clever girl.

Taras played a role of Barak, who was afraid to fight with Sisera.Judges 4 He so excited to be him!

A second Masha(on the right side) played Sisera.We did not have enough boys, so we took the girl.We did not have many kids at this day because several of them were sick, several of them(boys) a teacher took them to do something at orphanage.But we had a good time!

After telling to them of the Bible story we explained, if any person do not do what God says to do, He pass a praise to other person.It is same as Barak did not trust to the Lord, he was afraid Sisera and asked the woman, warrior Deborah to go with him.And God praised a Jael wife of Heber the Kenite.
Judges 5:24 "Blessed above women shall Jael the wife of Heber the Kenite be, blessed shall she be above women in the tent".

Here we played a game "To help palm tree to blossom".If they gave correct answer on Bible story, they had right to stick a palm leaves.They loved this game sooo much!

And after that we learned Bible verse."The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree..." Psalm 92:12(a) In Russian Bibles Psalm 91:13 Kids were amazed to see this verse with Deborah!!!

They said:"Oh, that is very easy!" And each of them wanted very much to say this verse after that when we learned it.They enjoyed to learn and liked it very much!!!

In the end children made craft, palm tree with Deborah under tree and with Bible verse.

Oksana and Nadya helped those, who needed help.

They enjoyed and were impressed sooo much by their palm trees.So, they decided to place it onto blackboard. :)  Isn`t it sweet?

 

We were so blessed to spend time with them and we praise the Lord!Probably next Friday will be last day when we will meet them and we will miss them.It is so sadly. Because after 23 of December they will have winter vacation.We are not sure yet.But we will see.

International Day of Persons with Disabilities

Carrying out the International day of invalids is directed on December, 3rd to attention attraction to problems of invalids, protection of their advantage, the rights and well-being, on attraction of attention of a society on advantages which it receives from participation of invalids in political, social, economic and cultural life.

The purposes for the sake of which this day has been proclaimed, — full both equal observance of human rights and participation of invalids in society life. These purposes have been put in the World program of actions concerning the invalids, the accepted General Assembly in 1982.

 Children and adults with the limited possibilities, suffering an epilepsy, cripples, with cerebral palsy, with Down syndrome, autistic, blind, deaf, physically and mentally disabilities etc. are considered as invalids in Ukraine or Persons with Disabilities.

We were so blessed have been officially invited to visit an orphanage for girls with special needs which we visit regularly at this unusual day!

We didn't have a program or Bible lesson as usual. As other visitors who government officials regional (oblast`), local and regional have been invited also. But we had a wonderful day to see all girls, to hug, kiss, to communicate a little.

As the older girls very much like to embroider in this orphanage during a nap while small kids sleep at day. In the beginning the orphanage has shown to visitors of their embroidery that is one of advantages of the Ukrainian people and art. We even have a saying that each Ukrainian girl necessarily should to embroider.Hundred years ago a girl which wasn't able to embroider, couldn't marry. But today it doesn't work and remains in the past. But nevertheless some sisters from our team can embroider also. :) It brings pleasure and employment.Those who was already in Ukraine, could see hundreds and thousand embroidered products or goods anywhere and everywhere. But in this orphanage of embroidery help girls to be occupied and it helps them to calm down mentally.

One employee woman of this orphanage is very creative and talented and she has thought up here such a small museum of the Ukrainian life of hundred years ago.From old things and fantasy they made such very interesting museum.
 It shows how there lived people in the Ukrainian houses earlier.

Wooden distaff on which did a cloth of flax. And then from these cloths sewed clothes.

 It is traditional Ukrainian drawing where necessarily there should be a girl, the river, the house, and trees a willow or a arrow-wood etc.

When we have entered into a class to see children and to communicate they were so surprised and so rejoiced!Oh, how they were happy!!! They huged and kissed us! It was so lovely!

 This girl showed on me and spoke all time "mammy, mammy". I was surprised and it was pleasant to me.What a wonderful blessing!

 Tanya didn't want to let go Lyuba very long and pressed to herself very strongly.She deaf but very lovely and sweet girl.

Also we could to bless orphanage by educating books and necessary writing-books.We were so blessed to deliver it to them!Teachers were excited very much by that!
We thought to give only to two groups when we will have enough money, to buy more books and writing-books and for other groups and to bring later.

But as there absolutely there are no textbooks so they have divided that into several groups.Few textbooks to each group. Teachers have been very glad and excited. All of them thanked often.

We were soooo much blessed to see girls and have fellowship with them!We were blessed to deliver educating books and writing-books to orphans thanks all of you!We praise God for all his blessings and mercy to us!We are so blessed to serve to children with disabilities!!! Each of them are very special and are precious gift of God!We love them and praise God for each opportunity to be with them! :) Isn`t it a blessing?
