A special blessing

I`m so exciting to share with you about visitation we had last week.God is so good to us and He blessed our visit of orphans!The hall was full of children who were sitting and listen soooo quietly that you could hear how "the fly flies".  :)We were amazed!Wow!

 It was last orphanage where we had our program with Jonah.And last orphanage which we visited in this 2011 year.In few days will begin New Year, new plans, new dreams, new trials probably and new blessings and everything just new...

Many of you are sweet faithful followers know what we do during our this program.Same Bible story, puppet show,games etc.But not same faces, impressions, blessings, smiles, eyes etc.Every visitation is very different, as every orphanage is different too.We were very blessed!

At this time we had such amazing and wonderful meeting with sweethearts!We were excited and praised the Lord!

On video a game.For those who do not know.During this game children pass on a toy-whale while music play.When music stops, a child should give answer on question about Jonah, Bible story what they listened before.
 I know you will not understand what we are saying.But I would like that you will see how children excited by this game.It was fun!And they gave correct answers! :)

Oh, we were impressed and happy how they loved this game, as in every orphanage!They all wanted to play and lifted their hands to choose for game.

That is not all! We have very special blessing!Do you remember I have told you a while time ago that we do not have school supplies to orphans more(in the end of post)?There was last orphanage where we delivered school supplies.

Yes, we did not have!And we did not hope to help more orphans...But not our rich God who has everything for those who He loves and cares!Jesus has blessed and we were able to present 17 sport balls to the orphanage as they asked us a some time ago.Oh, you needed to see their eyes!How children were happy to receive it!How they were excited and enjoyed!

 In some time when we did not hope and we decided to leave it.God sent a huge blessing!
In times when you give up, God lift up your hands.  :)
We are so happy and grateful to those who has blessed,  who helped us to deliver school supplies to orphans! We could not help 760 orphans but we could to help 670 !Isn`t amazing! Yes, we had moments when we lost faith and did not hope to help them.But alive God see needs and blesses just in time!What a awesome God we serve!

International Day of Persons with Disabilities

Carrying out the International day of invalids is directed on December, 3rd to attention attraction to problems of invalids, protection of their advantage, the rights and well-being, on attraction of attention of a society on advantages which it receives from participation of invalids in political, social, economic and cultural life.

The purposes for the sake of which this day has been proclaimed, — full both equal observance of human rights and participation of invalids in society life. These purposes have been put in the World program of actions concerning the invalids, the accepted General Assembly in 1982.

 Children and adults with the limited possibilities, suffering an epilepsy, cripples, with cerebral palsy, with Down syndrome, autistic, blind, deaf, physically and mentally disabilities etc. are considered as invalids in Ukraine or Persons with Disabilities.

We were so blessed have been officially invited to visit an orphanage for girls with special needs which we visit regularly at this unusual day!

We didn't have a program or Bible lesson as usual. As other visitors who government officials regional (oblast`), local and regional have been invited also. But we had a wonderful day to see all girls, to hug, kiss, to communicate a little.

As the older girls very much like to embroider in this orphanage during a nap while small kids sleep at day. In the beginning the orphanage has shown to visitors of their embroidery that is one of advantages of the Ukrainian people and art. We even have a saying that each Ukrainian girl necessarily should to embroider.Hundred years ago a girl which wasn't able to embroider, couldn't marry. But today it doesn't work and remains in the past. But nevertheless some sisters from our team can embroider also. :) It brings pleasure and employment.Those who was already in Ukraine, could see hundreds and thousand embroidered products or goods anywhere and everywhere. But in this orphanage of embroidery help girls to be occupied and it helps them to calm down mentally.

One employee woman of this orphanage is very creative and talented and she has thought up here such a small museum of the Ukrainian life of hundred years ago.From old things and fantasy they made such very interesting museum.
 It shows how there lived people in the Ukrainian houses earlier.

Wooden distaff on which did a cloth of flax. And then from these cloths sewed clothes.

 It is traditional Ukrainian drawing where necessarily there should be a girl, the river, the house, and trees a willow or a arrow-wood etc.

When we have entered into a class to see children and to communicate they were so surprised and so rejoiced!Oh, how they were happy!!! They huged and kissed us! It was so lovely!

 This girl showed on me and spoke all time "mammy, mammy". I was surprised and it was pleasant to me.What a wonderful blessing!

 Tanya didn't want to let go Lyuba very long and pressed to herself very strongly.She deaf but very lovely and sweet girl.

Also we could to bless orphanage by educating books and necessary writing-books.We were so blessed to deliver it to them!Teachers were excited very much by that!
We thought to give only to two groups when we will have enough money, to buy more books and writing-books and for other groups and to bring later.

But as there absolutely there are no textbooks so they have divided that into several groups.Few textbooks to each group. Teachers have been very glad and excited. All of them thanked often.

We would love to thank those who blessed us recently by huge blessing for school supplies!Thank you to bless this orphanage in their needs!Thank you from bottom and deepness of our hearts!Thank you to be such kindness and to be Jesus light in this world!Thank you!Thank you!Thank you!God bless you!

After there was a meeting where government officials and the director of orphanage spoke about this especial day etc.

We were soooo much blessed to see girls and have fellowship with them!We were blessed to deliver educating books and writing-books to orphans thanks all of you!We praise God for all his blessings and mercy to us!We are so blessed to serve to children with disabilities!!! Each of them are very special and are precious gift of God!We love them and praise God for each opportunity to be with them! :) Isn`t it a blessing?

Long wonderful day

Do you see such big crowd? We had probably over 160 children and  many caretakers at one hall. Wow! We were so blessed to visit this orphanage!There about 180 orphans! That is a lot!We were so happy to share the Gospel with them and say amazing Bible story about Jonah.We had such blessed and wonderful time during program! Everything was absolutely amazing and perfect!!! We are so thankful to Jesus!

I have so much to tell you!I will try to say everything in series.
We have spent all day long to be busy with this orphanage!Before spending time with orphans and telling them about God we have helped them.We bought everything they needed for school supplies!We were so happy to help them and enjoyed to buy everything.
Director of orphanage were amazed and soooo thankful!She says teachers often go to her and ask everything what they necessary for a lesson.But orphanage has not finances for it.How she can help? There are many kids who have many different problems, needs, etc.And director do everything she can to care about them.

So, anyway we are VERY thankful to those who donated for school supplies and has blessed this orphanage!
We are thankful to you that you shared with these kids love of Jesus Christ and his care about orphan`s needs.We are grateful much!

As this orphanage has children with special needs.Teachers were so happy to receive these gifts, supplies what they can use to teach children, develop them, open their talents etc.We bought not everything they needed because we could not find and shops do not have so many supplies.It is necessary to order.So, we bought what we could find and most of it.

We bought liquid glue, furniture lacquer,tool equipment for work with wood, metally meccano for little kids,and different tools which I do not know and do not remember names. :) Also gimps and 10 meters of cross-stitch canvas for girls.I think it is enough for whole year!These things only for lesson labor training.

And also we bought 4 big sheets of plywood.But they are such big size so we could not place it to transport but not ours. :) So,we have paid for it, left bill to administration of orphanage.They necessary only find a transport that will deliver plywood to orphanage.
So, sorry do not have picture.We did not know that it will be such big size.And we thought make picture at orphanage when we will buy everything.
 We bought plywood that children under the guidance of  teachers will make games for children, for their development.It can be  lace up games and many others.We have these games for development of children  but they are very expensive.So, decision of director was to make that to save some finances and children can learn to work with wood, as their program demand of it.I think that is very good idea!

Here is example of games what children can do.That is not exactly as these but similar to them.

By the way we would love to ask you.Probably some one of you have games or colorful book with animals, cars, buildings etc. those what you do not need? Even it will be on foreign language that is ok.Children can learn by pictures. Please, can you send to orphans here what will help them in their education and development?I`m sure caretakers and teachers would appreciate it very much because they often have nothing.Thank you!

Finally when we bought what we could, as I said above almost everything, we could have Bible time with children.The time there was absolutely amazing!We received so much emotions, applause, smiles, hugs, kisses and much more!Kids were amazed by everything! Even caregivers came up to us and thanked. Oh, it was so sweet! We are so blessed that we could to share the Gospel with so many folks in one time! What a blessing!

In the beginning of meeting pastor Misha could to read  the Bible and shared the Gospel as on picture little above.After that we could to have our program for children.

The whale "swallowed" our Jonah. The little boy played in story very well.Everyone sitting in hall liked it much.

Next were games.The first game was already beloved by many kids in orphanages during our travelings, to catch fish in water.As you remember we learn Bible verse with kids by this way about obedience.

As every time a lot of those wishing to play!

We even had a girl who began to cry because she did not play at this game when we finished.Well, children are so many and sometimes you can see all of them at one time. So, that she stop to cry we took her behind of our puppet stage and several fishes placed to our bowl. She hooked a one.Really, I do not know was it good but she was so happy! :)

Next picture where the team is giving candies to kiddies.These precious ones were not at hall when we had program because they had nap.Until we finished with everything, we wanted to find them and give candies too.Everywhere was very dark, no light, only pitch darkness outside. It was so funny when we have found them in darkness by their voices when they were singing. :) Oh, how they were happy to recieve candies!

By the way we could to visit more little angels who are sooo sweet and we adore them!They are age 3-8 year old.They could to receive candies too.

And we could to play with them a little.Ah, they all are so cute and precious! Just want to hug all of them!

Look at this sweet small one how she is happy!This girl has Apert syndrome.She has a high-arched palate what brings her trouble to chew.Also she has not all fingers or they are webbed. Same she has webbed toes on her feet...But she is very communicative!

Look at this cute boy! Is not he sweet? He is 4 years old and still does not speak...Mom left him when gave birth and he arrived to this orphanage from baby home several months ago.

Poor small boy...He needs mom and dad who will love him and maybe after he will be in loving family, he will begin to speak.
That is why he huged and kissed pastor Misha.Oh, that it was so sweet and you want to weep over when you see it.We whole team were amazed to see it!

We believe in miracles!We know one little girl who did not speak for a long time even she was 4 years old.We prayed for a long time and she began to speak!What a miracle! All staff of orphanage was surprised because they did not believe she will speak when ever!

Do you see these next sweet angels?Are not they just cute these 2 small girls?
We have prayer request and plea to help small Alyona, who is with white long hair on right side.This little precious kid was 6 times sick of pneumonia during this year.That is terrible!!! I do not know how she is still alive, only by mercy of our Lord Jesus.
We ask you to pray for her that God will keep her in His arms and give her well health.

Also we PLEAD you to help with good medicine for little kids.Please, can someone send some medicine what will help children have a good health and protect them from different sicknesses?Please, please, we beg you!Director of orphanage do everything she can, but as very often happen,there are not enough finances...

Next small angel about whom we ask you to pray much also.This small sweet girl has a problem with appetite.I`m not sure but probably her name is Vika.The problem is that she does not eat because does not want.She was at hospital diagnosed by doctors.They have found nothing what bring a trouble for her to eat.They say, she is healthy.But why she does not eat?Can some one tell me?

We have found her mom is sick by schizophrenia and her father drinks.I think the reason why she does not eat because she feels herself unwanted and unloved...

Yes, she is only 4 years old, she does not understand many things but as every child she feels that she is beloved and she needs someone.She needs a family who will love and care about her...

Orphanage has not finances to care and medicate this small girl.The staff of orphanage has told us horrible situations when this small one scared them, when she ate nothing during 3 days.It happens often.They thought she will die.She eat sometimes piece of cookies or something like that.But as every one understands what will happen if you will be eat just cookies or little bit same food???

As orphanage has not finances, the staff donate when they can and buy some medicine to help this small angel.But it is enough only for a week.We had little bit money and gave to caretaker to buy this medicine that save her life.

We plead you...Please, can you help this small girl to help have a good appetite, send some medicine or donate, that we can buy here.Whatever you will think it will be the best for her.One pack cost only $9, it is enough for a week.

Tomorrow we are going to visit these small precious ones again.We would be very happy if someone will donate if only little bit to help small girl.You can donate $1-5-10-15-25 and more...Each $ is appreciate!Please, can you help her?Thank you!

Do you see these sweet helpers? They are orphans who were flying to us to help, when have seen us, when we just arrived to an orphanage.They all are so happy to see guests and every one wants to help them!

God is so good to us!We could to visit kids and spend time in 4 orphanages this week!

About one visitation with small ones I already has told you here.Next several days one after another Thursday, Friday and Saturday we have seen children in different orphanages last week.Really, I do not know when I will update, because the Lord has blessed and we are going  to visit 3-4 orphanages next week again! Is not amazing? Is not a blessing from the Lord Jesus?Wow!!! We are sooooo exciting when we can visit them and bring Gospel! We are so happy we can commit the command of God, "visit the fatherless... in their affliction".

I will try to tell you about all blessed meetings we had as soon as I can.

Here I would like to share with you a visitation we had on last Thursday and many blessings we have. 

We had such blessed time with kiddies!They all are so sweet, kind and wonderful!We all BOM team, children and staff of orphanage has rejoiced by blessing time to be together!It was amazing time!We are so happy and praise the Lord!

And yes, we spoke here about obedience to God, telling  them story about Jonah.

We played same games and sang song about Jonah and  have  memorized same Bible verse "to obey is better than sacrifice."1 Samuel 15:22(b) :)

Children were very active and were very exciting to hear story and gave right answers on questions about Jonah during game!We admire by them!They are very and very sweet kids!

Here Nadya is telling story about Jonah, to be exactly about whales.That they are big and incredible creation of God.

Next game, where children gave answers on questions.
The first question was, What is the name of main hero? Next question.What God has told to Jonah to do?

But they were impressed more by next game.Oh, they all wanted to catch fish!It was so and so funny!

This orphanage has 190 kids!Trust me, that is not easy when a hall is full of kiddies! But not all children were with us.As this program for children, we took since 1-6 grades, they are 6-12 years old.Next time(we do not know yet when) we will come only to teens age 13-16 years old and will have more seriously time with them.

But really we had a great time with kids! :)

After this game we have learned Bible verse with them.They did it very well!

Ok.Next picture is where smallest orphans of this orphanage have received special gifts to them, colorful pencils(crayola) in plastic box and nice lead pencils.
We thought to give only for smallest ones, to first grade.But we have found there not many kiddies, only 7 of them.But we had 15 boxes!So, we gave to second grade too, for a class!Oh, children were so happy to receive these gifts!Thank you to those, who has blessed so precious and cute kiddies! Are not they wonderful?

On next picture you can see  school supplies we have presented to this orphanage.We are so happy we could to do it!The administration of orphanage were amazed and so and so thankful!They told, "Oh how we are happy to have you!" It was so nice to hear it! But we sure, we would not present these gifts to the orphanage without all of you.

We are grateful to ALL of you to share this need, pray for, donate, send boxes etc!We are so happy to have all of you, even we are far away but Lord spirit is one and everywhere.And we thank God to give you a wish to help orphans with school supplies! We thank God who works in hearts of folks and we admire by you!!!

The next blessing we have  Lord Jesus has blessed and we could to bless this orphanage by DVD player(on picture is in blue big box on right side)!Wow! They have jubilee 50 years of this orphanage this year!
They wanted to make a special day, celebrate it but they canceled it, because the teacher of music has died more than month ago and they could not find someone who could to help them.It is sadly.So, we could to buy special gift and have presented to the orphanage.They were very much surprised and amazed! And when we told them about school supplies too.They all even did stand up and began to applaud for us! We were embarrassed little. :) We explained to them, that All glory to God, because He cares about orphans and that He sent these gifts.

One more blessing we have that we could to witness about God to director of this orphanage.She is new worker there but old director he is on pension now.And we had such amazing time with her!Wow!Really she is very sweet and so kind woman. She loves children much and tries to care about them as much as she can.
Also she invited us as reverence of guests to their special day in orphanage that they will have in next month.She requested us very much and has let us know she will be happy to see us as special guests at this day.

Well, we could say nothing, even we would love to be there and it is such a blessing for us.Because we knew we did not have extra finances.And we had only for two orphanages which we were going to visit next several days.What we already did :)

This orphanage was last orphanage where we have presented school supplies.We do not have any more.Everything already finished.We need to help with supplies to 3 orphanages...

We even did not know where we will take finances to visit orphanages this next week.We prayed to the Lord and asked to help us in this need.Do you know what?That is amazing how Lord Jesus answers and blesses!He has sent even double blessing!Really I was crying to find out, it was tears of joy. God sent us $500 for school supplies and different needs of orphans!Isn`t amazing our Lord Jesus? He sends everything just in time!Wow! We are so blessed and inspired! Thank you so much for your prayers and gift of love!Thank you so much to those who sent us such GREAT blessing!We praise God for this blessing and answer of prayer!

It reminds me a Bible story when God has blessed widow, because she has fed Elijah.

"For thus saith the LORD God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until the day that the LORD sendeth rain upon the earth.

And the barrel of meal wasted not, neither did the cruse of oil fail, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake by Elijah. " 1 Kings17:14;17:16

Is not amazing story how God cares?Isn`t God`s miracle?God provides all time in time we can serve orphans and help in their needs.We are so happy we serve alive and amazing God!!!

We are so blessed to have so many blessings these days!
