Orphaned children received a blessing from the Lord!

Finally our beloved and dear friends, we can share with you one more awesome blessing!This week we were able to deliver gifts to one of orphanages!
I know that many of you look forward a pictures of happy smiles of kids when they receive gifts :)

This visitation was soooo blessed and amazing!!!We had a great time with children!

On first picture are gifts to this orphanage which were packed for each class(grade).It`s so many!Wow!We were excited so much!

Next several pictures are our Bible time with orphans.We talked about prayer with them.Nadya told them story about Hannah and Samuel.We had puppet show, sang several songs etc.

We played a game, where they gave correct answers to questions on Bible story.As we played game, to feed of Samuel.It was funny when they placed in wrong place the paper feeding-bottle because were blindfolded.Children were excited to play at this game very much!

And next pictures are which gifts received children.

These gifts for smallest kids, boys and girls age of 6-11 years old.There were in each gift necessarily toothpaste, socks, soap, undershirt and summer shoes. But other items, such as the book-coloring, a puzzles, a doll, rainbow game, a hairpin, a soap bubble etc. we  placed 2-3 things in dispersion, who what will get.Each gift was signed by surname and a class of child, according to the list that we had.

These gifts were for girls of older age, 12-16 years old. We have placed there necessarily items, such as: tooth-paste, soap, shampoo, a deodorant and summer footwear. And  hairpins for hair were different, who what will get.

In gifts for older boys, we placed for everyone, a toothpaste, soap, a deodorant, summer footwear and shower gel.Some boys didn't know what such is the shower gel. It was necessary to explain how to use it.

Next pictures of children are receiving these gifts. Were children happy? Absolutely!!! It was very joyful to see their shining eyes and lovely smiles.It was amusing to hear how they cried out "look at that, I have that or that!Wow!"

Older kids

Do you see these precious kiddies on video?They are smallest ones.It was sadly some that they could not be with us at Bible time, during the program.They had nap time and came later.

But how they were happy to receive gifts!

They were impressed and admired by them!

Children started at once to unpack and rejoice by gifts. Some started to start up soap bubbles. Girls shouted from delight that they have hairpins and elastic(head) bands for hair! There was so much joy and admiration! :)

Thanks sweet friends! Thanks to you, children could receive the most necessary. Thanks to you, children rejoice and receive so many positive emotions and admiration! Thank you for care of them and showing them God's love and mercy.I`m sure kids would hug you as they did for us.  :)

Administration and teachers of the orphanage were VERY thankful to you and rejoiced with kids.

But there is one more blessing.

Unfortunately many children couldn't be present during the program because many are ill now. Some children are in an sick-room(infirmary) of orphanage and some in hospital. But just in time we could bring them blessing from the Lord! Here I spoke that we are going to deliver medicines to an orphanage what we bought before. It was just in time. Now many children and adults start to have flu or cold :(

These guys just received medicines when we have come.

The medic, she was very grateful for this blessing. :)

Look at these precious kids happy by their gifts whom we visited, as they could not be with us because of their sickness.God has consoled them during their illness thanks to your donations and care.

Girls in mental institution received a gift!

Ok.Dear and faithful readers. We have sooooo many to share with you. I at all even don't know from what to start, that nothing to miss and not to forget as a lot of events lately happens here. Simply the head is swimming. But we are VERY excited, inspired and blessed by these events!

Three days in a row we visited orphanages.I will tell you later about these journeys also.Tomorrow we are going to a next orphanage. :)

Here I would love to share with you about HUGE blessing which was received by girls with special needs in mental institution and what a great time we had with them!

At the beginning as always, we had a program with them.It was wonderful time!

Puppet show.They LOVE it!

Object lesson with phone.They never have seen a phone before and could not tell what is it.We explain to them  and showed how to use the phone.They were interesting to check it out and gave a touch.

Nadya told a Bible story about Hannah and Samuel by very simple way.

After that we played a game "Feed of Samuel".

We learned and saw that girls don't know what such is a children's small bottle and what with it to do. We explained of. But here they learned to show where the kid has a mouth on the picture. Also that exactly there it is necessary to paste a feeding-bottle.

The first girl (on video) was very sweet and loveful. She huged the whole day and kissed us showing the love and gladness to us. She was so glad by our presence there. This girl with such open and kind heart to give her love and receive from a person.It simple is heartbreaking that parents left this sweet girl in this terrible place...

 The second girl very much liked to receive stickers. :)

There is other lovely creature.She so precious and cute!This little angel is very active and smart!She wanted to paste more feeding-bottles but we explain to her that not just you but other children would like to play too.She is so funny!  :)))

Girls love to touch or take a hand.It`s not surprise.In fact they do not have mommy or daddy who would give them hugs...So heartbreaking...

After Bible time we could provide them new summer footwear!Yeahhhhh!Finally these God`s precious treasures could to receive amazing blessing!

If you remember here I shared with you that somewhere on Spring we were going to bless girls by this wonderful gift.I can't send by words and describe you HOW girls were glad to receive this gift! How they were happy and sooooo much impressed!!! WOW!

It warmed our hearts and brought so very much blessings!We were impressed by their joy and happiness.

They couldn't believe that it is for them and several times asked again or this gift belongs to them. :)

We signed each pair of shoes by girl`s surnames that employees of the orphanage wouldn't be confused and would be help for them.

Girls were soooo happy that they even kissed shoes!

The check according to the list or all girls received footwear.

 

 Not all children received footwear because the sizes didn't correspond because employees of orphanage probably forgot about the smallest or gave not the correct sizes. But in any case, the Lord loves and cares of orphans! Doesn`t He? He blessed us with a donation for footwear to children.

 Yesterday we visited an one orphanage and on the way could visit this mental institution again, have communication with children a little and provide this footwear.

When girls saw us, they started to run to meeting to huge and kiss. It was so lovely. They asked. Will you come tomorrow?

Oh, poor kid.She was sick yesterday. :(

 

 But look at this precious smile after receiving the gift!Isn`t she sweet?

Thanks a lot to all who prayed and prays for that we could provide footwear to orphaned children. Thanks to all for your donations and sending of footwear. Thank for your great love, gentle care and kindness. Thanks a lot to all, make smiling these kids and bringing joy and hope to them!We are rejoicing and praise the Lord!!! Thank you making them such happy!!!

But our hearts are still broken to looking at their winter boot and coat.It is worn out very much and are in awful condition.

How this precious child can wear such awful footwear??? It hurts and many inconveniences!Oh, it`s terrible.

We pray that the next autumn we could bless them with winter footwear and outer clothing, jackets or a coats.

If the Lord gives you desire. Please, send outer clothing and footwear. As it is BIG need in all orphanages and mental institutions.Thank you for your wonderful care and Christ love!

New Project- Gifts to Graduates

Well, our beloved Friends. We begin our new project, Gifts to Graduates.

For those who doesn't know.Annually, between 10,000 – 15,000 orphaned children leave orphanages at the age of 15-16 years old. They as baby birds are still not ready to fly, them still it is necessary to feed and look after them. But that is our law. Still not ready to life, they shall spread wings and fly. Where? What direction? To whom? Nobody knows. As a result. Many of them stay simply on the street. Our government has no one program which could help to become on feet to these, still absolutely unprepared children. To trace everyone, who and where, to help as socially and physically or financially. They stay out of an orphanage absolutely one. Without any help, in fear and in horror, suffering abandonment and homelessness. Where to go and what to do???

Life in an orphanage has left them completely unprepared to manage simple tasks of life - or make good choices about relationships, whom to trust, or how to spend their time. No guidance and no accountability.

Statistical data shows that only one of ten Ukrainian orphans becomes a functional member of a society. Others are lost to crime, suicide, unemployment, homelessness, abusing drugs, prostitution and a victim of formation of human trade.These only are few from results.

I will give to you some examples that occurred recently in our ministry.

 Recently, once at night an orphaned girl stayed on the street, was very cold. The majority of you knows how cold there was this winter in Ukraine. Imagine,one on the street, without things, without documents.  took her to my home.When she ate, was noticeable that she didn't eat very long, she simply swallowed of food not the chewed. It was a plaintive and heartbreaking view. We gave her everything that she could eat, be warmed and live some time.She graduated an orphanage a few years ago. The dormitory where she lived before, simply kicked out her on the street.She lives everywhere where she can...

This girl told me about the schoolmates and about their awful life. In total what they worry and how they live, it is simply awful. Simply there are no words. Statistics proves to be true. Alcohol, poorness and poverty, unemployment, prison, the illegitimate given birth children and there is a lot of another...

Next.An one guy few months ago returned from prison. He is very dear and also special to ours hearts. He doesn't know and never saw the father. Somewhere about 6 years ago his mother was killed, she abused alcohol. We did everything that could, but life and circumstances not in our power. The his sister and he stayed orphans. As a result an orphanage, a shelter, escapes etc.As the result, he got to prison. Relatives took away an apartment where he lived before and he stayed simply on the street when came back from prison.

Next story.My sister Oksana met the girlfriend and the schoolmate recently. They didn't see each other many years. She told that when Oksana came back home from an orphanage, her girlfriend very much worried about her and often cried. Because Oksana was her single and the best girlfriend. Shortly her mother took away from the orphanage and very quickly died. As mother was married for the stepfather (not the native father), he again married but on other woman. Eventually girlfriend Oksana was even more unfortunate. Life among these people was simply a nightmare.At the age of 16-17 years she studied in one of educational institutions. She had no clothes, she wore a tatter. She hadn't what to eat, she ate scraps or what will find on the street.She had NO ONE person who could help her though something. She simply aimlessly wandered down the street.She was homeless, is defenseless, lived in fear and horror.

These are only few stories.I can tell MANY similar stories about awful life of these left children...

But for now Dear our Friends, we need your help.We need to raise fund $1820 for one month. We want to bless 80 graduates of orphanages with gifts, by kitchen utensils and a blanket.For each person it`s $22.75.

 We know that it is only a little that can help them after they will leave an orphanage. But we hope with the God`s help to help to these children at least this particle of kindness.

But we haven't enough time! Only a MONTH! All of you know that this year, will be Euro2012 in Ukraine in the summer. There is an instruction that all educational institutions would be closed, that all passed examinations and finished operations till summer. Therefore the Last Bell ceremony at orphanages will be not at the end of the month May, as usual. But in the middle of May. Directors of orphanages let to us know that we would arrive at the beginning of the month of May to graduates with the program. Because then there will be very intense time for them.

Some of you shall remember as unbelievably God blessed our fund-raising, with gifts, all our journeys and how many was joyfulness and the blessed moments.

So, we have only month to raise funds.Time is VERY short!Can we do that?Can we show to these children God`s care and His love?

World Autism Day

Today the 2 of April is World Autism Day.We minister to kids with special needs, so autistic kids also, who are in different orphanages and mental institutions.

Here is a video of Temple Grandin who is a Doctor of Animal Science and professor at Colorado State University, bestselling author, and consultant to the livestock industry in animal behavior.

She perfectly explains what is autism.Please, take a time to watch it.After watching of this video (on Russian) :)  some time ago, it changed our understanding and knowledge about autistic people.It helped us a lot!!! Hope it will be helpful and informative for you too.

Our boys

I`m so exciting to share with you what an awesome visit we had with our precious boys!The meeting with them was simply perfect last week.They were sitting and listened so perfectly quietly that it even was unusual to us.

This time we told them story about Abraham how God tested him that he sacrificed the son Isaac.(Genesis 22) We spoke about Abraham faithfulness to God.

When we sang some songs with movements, we had object lesson.

At first we showed them baby's clothes for kids that we have. We asked them,for whom it is intended, how things are called etc.We took simple clothes that they could say what is that. Then we asked of boys or they heard when ever that a woman of 90 years (grandmother) gave birth to the child? How do you think, is it possibly?

Then Nadya told them this story in very simple way.She did wonderful job! All children listened very attentively. Blessing was for us also that a lot of teachers could listen God's Word.Them not were smaller than 7-8.It was awesome blessing!

Also we noticed that some of them even sang songs together with us. Isn`t it the blessing ? :)

During history we played with our sweet ones. Learned them to count and develop their imagination.

  At the beginning we gave them grains of sand and they tried to count out. But there could count only a few boys as the majority of them aren't able to count. But most of all we surprised, that was seemed that they were afraid to do it. Also they took part in it not unsure. But we were impressed that they told correctly that grains of sand count out we can not, because it is unreal.

  But most of all children liked to place stars.They were so excited to play at this game!They were so sweet and precious! Then we counted stars and asked boys. Whether we can count stars in the heaven?

 We gave to children the practical job that them would be easier to understand and imagine this scripture.

"And said, By myself have I sworn, saith the LORD, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son:

That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies; 

And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice."

  There was very interesting moment. When we started to play this game and called a first boy. His teacher told, he understands nothing and he won't make this job. We told that is fine and there is not anything terrible, we will teach him. 

  After all for the child important not that he reached the purpose or not but that he took in it a part. Certainly pleasures on much more when the child achieves the object. But if him not to involve in anything, he won't learn of something. There are a lot of children who are smart and a lot of things can do. The help only is necessary to them. Unfortunately some teachers don't understand it or don't want to understand... It breaks our hearts. :(

But what a surprise of the teacher was when this kid made everything simply perfectly! He showed that he not "such" how  they think. He is the capable and smart boy. He loved so very much to locate stars that was ready to attach all of them.  Isn't he lovely? :)

Here we played game to learn a Bible verse.Our boys hung out paper clothes where the Bible verse was written. Then we learned it. They very much liked this game and excited to play!It was fun!

And at the end of the meeting we made a craft, Abraham with Isaac. On the craft the verse was written,which we studied before. Oh, how our precious boys rejoiced and admired, when made the craft and saw result of the job!It was awesome!

Blessing was for us that all teachers who were present, also helped children with crafts.

Kids were so much impressed who we helped with craft!As they love very much to make crafts or something by their hands.Boys were sooooooo much happy!!!

We gave candies in the end.

We love these boys and they are so dear to our hearts.It brings us such blessing and warms hearts, seeing smiles on their faces and how many pleasure and joy they receives. Can be something wonderful than it? :)
