Bible story about the good Shepherd, our Lord Jesus.
Nina such sweet and smart girl! Each time we come, it breaks our hearts to think how she could blossom in a loving family. But too late now. She is young lady, who can't be adopted because of the age... So heartbreaking. :(

We played game where the children  being the good shepherd and guiding the "sheep" back home. They had soooo much fun! Wow!

It was so sweet to see their joy.

Boys, boys, so sweet boys

Okay. We had one more meeting! Yay! With boys. And it was awesome!

Our Bible story was about Moses and burning bush.Exodus 3-4

I did not want to use only flanellograf and was thinking about something special... When we were ready leave for the orphanage God gave me an idea!I love how God works!

(Exodus 4:6) And the LORD said furthermore unto him, Put now thine hand into thy bosom. And he put his hand into his bosom: and when he took it out, behold, his hand was leprous as snow.

We took a wheat flour in a bowl. I hid my hand into the bosom, turned toward them of  back. Oksana and Nadya helped me quickly get dirty hand with flour. Then I  plucked it out of bosom already covered with "leprosy". It was chilly day, my sweater helped me to hide the hand.Ha ha!

4:9 And it shall come to pass, if they will not believe also these two signs, neither hearken unto thy voice, that thou shalt take of the water of the river, and pour it upon the dry land: and the water which thou takest out of the river shall become blood upon the dry land.

We colored water to red color with help of manganese crystals . It did not turn of course, to red as I wanted but the raspberry color. :)  But boys love it!  They were amazed how clean water became colorful in front of their eye!Ha ha!

4:2 And the LORD said unto him, What is that in thine hand? And he said, A rod.
4:3 And he said, Cast it on the ground. And he cast it on the ground, and it became a serpent; and Moses fled from before it.

We did not had serpent. Lol.I just cast "rod" on the ground. Hmm.Now I think to find a toy serpent. :) That would be great!

When I cast the rod on the ground smarter boys asked. "Was it real? The rob became to serpent? It look like a fairytale?" "Do you want to say that God is liar?" we answered.
So, we had a little discussion. ;)

Boy loved this special moments during Bible story! It helped them to remember and answer questions during the game "Burning bush".

Everything turned just great!

The Bible verse what we learned, was on Bible craft we made in the end.

They were so glad to make the craft!

Such a precious smiles :)

Andriy worked so hard cutting out. He didn't want that we help him :)

"Please, take picture of me with the craft!" :)

My favorite one! So sweet!

Boys were soooo excited by the meeting and all were so active! Oh, my! You have to see their joy and admiration! Such sweet, sweet boys who we so love dearly! It is such a great joy and blessing to serve and love them! ♥

With girls about the 12 spies

Last week we visited these sweet girls.

As always we continue our "travel on Bible" with these young ladies telling Bible stories.

We told them Biblical history about 12 spies. It was fun when dressed up "spies" brought huge grape what we made from balloons. They loved it!

During a Bible time we played a game which we called "To Eat grape" :)

Who gave the right answer to the question of history, had the right to tear away the grape under the number to a question they answered. As always girls were excited to play!

They liked more to tear away the grape than answer questions. Ha ha!

Also we learned Bible verse (1 Corinthians 16:13) "Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong."

And in the end we made craft, spies carrying the grape.

This sweet girl always says she can't color. But after few minutes trying she did really well.

Most of the girls is very insecure, they lack confidence and always say that they can not do something. We cannot do a lot of things... But we try to break this mindset and teach them something, even a little bit, that they see and feel that they can do something and they are important to God. You could see their joy when they manage to do something! It is such joy to see their smiles and happy faces!

We are so thankful Jesus for the opportunity to visit these sweet souls!

About the 12 spies to younger ones

Hello everyone! I hope you have wonderful days with unexpected blessings :)

Yesterday we had such a nice time with younger group of girls! We had planned spend time with older girls. But when we arrived to a mental institution we learned that they have a bath day. It means that many girls won`t be able to come and have fellowship with us. Maybe the administration forgot to warn us? Opps. Then they asked us maybe you will spend time with younger group?  If God wants we share Christ love with little ones today. Why, not?So, the Bible lesson we planned for older girls we had with younger ones.

We had such a blessed time! It was pleasant to hear a caretaker said, I want be present too and have a fun. I like very much when you come and how carry on meetings. Can I join? It was sweet balm to our ears. :) She helped us in many ways with kids. Such a blessing!

So, our Bible story was about 12 spies. It was great!

Then girls had to "eat a huge grape" answering questions about story. They tear away the number they wanted, so this number of the question they answered.

The Bible verse

When we repeated a new song we learned in the beginning our meeting. We made the craft of spies. Kids were excited and made so wonderful job!

The young lady helped other girl to color her craft. It was so sweet...

The little one was so happy to get balloon :)

And in the end everyone received a stuffed toy.

Many happy faces and smiles.

Also we have such an awesome blessing! The entire orphanage received 80 towels and underwear for girls! Administration and staff was very glad and greatly thanked! For all orphanage! Can you imagine?! How wonderful!!!

We are so and so thankful to bro. Daniel Scott and his community in Ohio, who helped so and so many orphans in Ukraine already! What a beautiful , beautiful blessing!

(Deuteronomy10:17-18) "For the LORD your God is God of gods, and Lord of lords, a great God, a mighty, and a terrible, which regardeth not persons, nor taketh reward:
He doth execute the judgment of the fatherless and widow, and loveth the stranger, in giving him food and raiment. "

Just a simple thing make them happy!

Do you see this precious smile? I love it!

Do you see these happy faces full with joy and delight?

Do you see excitement of girls? Maybe you hear their laughter? :)

Well. We played in the snow with girls and threw snowballs at them few days ago. Just such a simple thing made everyone so happy!

So sad that no one playing with them at the snow... But it is so simple, so fun and need nothing for that! Just snow and love to these souls.

The day was beautiful even not sunny. We laughed together and had fun. Just playing with those beautiful souls lifted the spirits and bring such joy!

Before the exciting time we had Biblical lesson with younger group. The story was about Joseph and his coat of many colors. (Genesis 37)

This little lovey is deaf and does not communicate...So priceless she wanted sit at lap.

At the end we made a craft, Joseph coat of many colors. Cookies, chocolate paste and M&M.

Dear friends, you would see how they were happy and so delighted! I can not find words and describe how much they were amazed! This girl was so excited and overjoyed she made this craft! She took Misha`s hand led to a place where she was sitting pointing to the "Joseph coat" with such great joy. She applauded and was thrilled! :)

Then they all ate their "craft". "Mmm. So yummy!" It made us smile and feel joy in hearts. We are so rejoice that simple things make so happy these children and bring such a joy!

Also BOM provided with different clothes what many of you sent.

Huge box of many puzzles.

Hats, socks and many other blessings.

Thank you!Thank you so very much to those, who made it possible! Staff of orphanage greatly thanked as they have nothing!

Staff asked us to help with bedding and towels. Towels look terrible and so worn out. Bedding should be provided 3 times a year. But orphanage uses beddings several years already!

The situation is going to be worse due the war and economic situation in Ukraine...The 25% of staff should be cut soon. How it will work where are children with special needs? It awfully even to think...

We have learned sizes of bedding is different in Ukraine than in US at least. If someone wish to send... I don't think it is good idea. Thanks for understanding.

If someone has opportunity and desire to bless these precious souls with beddings and towels, please email to bibleorphanministry@gmail.com   or leave a comment here. Thank you! Many, many blessings to you and your families!
