God sets the lonely in families (part 2)

  Last year, when we first took teenagers to the Carpathian mountains. We were very worried, there were a lot of difficulties and experiences. But God blessed in an incredible way! And it was one of the best trips!!! During the week while we were living with the children together, God began to work with my heart. Knowing the horrible stories from the life of children, it overwhelmed my heart even more knowing what awaits them outside the orphanage... The more I prayed, the more and more God gave me the desire to take several girls into my family to help, protect, teach them life skills and surround them with care and love. I knew it would not be easy... Perhaps even harder than I could imagine. I knew that I would spend more than one night in tears and that more than once my heart would be broken. But the heart pain for these abandoned and defenseless girls was stronger. Stronger than me. Love and incredible desire was beyond my strength. 

 My greatest fear was. Can girls get along with a special girl? Will I not be a witness to insults and strife? Can I handle it? How will Masha feel? and so on...

 I forgot many details of life in the orphanage. But when the girls started living with us and doing some things. My brain turned on in a moment and I remembered that we did the same thing at the orphanage! Wow! At some point, it became shocking to me and scared a little! I was even confused for a moment by suddenness. That I do not remember much, but my brain remembers! I thank Jesus that He set me free and healed my heart!What a mighty God we serve!

The girls are sweet and very different ...

 Luba, brave and confident in herself, at first glance, was very worried and afraid to live in a students dorm ... When she heard that she could live with us, the girl burst into tears...

For one of the girls we were told that she was a difficult teenager. I decided to try and prayed that the Lord would give me the opportunity to try to help this beautiful young lady, to do everything in my power. "Even if she lives several months and go, I will be grateful to You my Lord", I prayed. My heart was broken.We know her from 4 years old, when she was in the Children`s House, which BOM also supports.

On the first day of trade school, it turned out that the administration had "forgotten" Luba to add to the list of students who had to live in dorm and there was no place there. Coincidence? I do not think so! God already knew and prepared a place for her! If people forget, but not God! God has a place for orphaned child!

  Sveta had a similar situation, problems with the settlement in the domitory. She was very frightened, confused and defenseless ... Again an random event? God has no random events! He had already prepared a place for her also! When she officially (according to the documents of the trade school) came to our home. You would see her! She became so happy, joyful and even more talkative!We could not believe our eyes!

"God sets the lonely in families..." (Psalm 68:5)

 Girls live for almost a year with us.This is what Lyuba says:

•  During these years you have replaced my parents.

• You support me very much, both emotionally and physically. I learned a lot from you.

• I changed a lot for the better while living with you. Everyone noticed and is talking about it. I became softer, generous and grateful. You taught me a lot to appreciate what I have. In spite of some difficulty, you need to love what you have, that I live, I have my arms, legs and so on ...

•   During this year, when I live with you, I do not remember when I was crying. I was more pleased and more joyful!

• I saw a lot, and learned a lot about what I did not know before. I also learned a lot about God. Since our guests at the orphanage told only about the creation of the earth and nothing else.

• I learned that God is not only there in the Heaven, but always near. He represents Himself through someone when trouble comes. When it's hard for me, I always turn to God and He helps me. I used to think that God created everything and just watched us. Now I know more about Him. I did not even imagine that He would act so fast in my life!

• Without you, I would not find a job and get into trouble. Thank you for the help!(Lyuba is going to work soon during summer time).

•   If I lived in a dorm, then I do not know what would happened with me... I have no idea. But I see how girls survive in the dorm.

•   I have no one to share my worries as mom and dad are constantly drinking alcohol. And you are always near me and constantly support me! You are always with me when something is wrong.You became like mom for me.

Love heals broken hearts!!! ♥♥♥

The other girl was very reserved, rarely spoke, only briefly answering questions. She always looked sad and with her head down. Sveta has very low self-esteem, uncertainty...At the boarding school, she had little contact with anyone and rarely was friends with someone. Sveta did not know what she wants from life, did not know what she liked or what she loved, there were no desires or dreams. :( She looked like a small cute snail that hid and was afraid to lean out.

Children who grow up in secluded places and are isolated from the world cannot see anything. When they finish an orphanage, it is difficult for them to adapt and face various difficulties. Very often graduates of orphanages are 5-10 years behind their peers and often immature. Sveta is such a sweet girl. God gave the desire to take her into our family, teach life skills and protect against all dangers. Once, when we gave her money for her needs (for a bus ticket to school and other needs). She burst into tears ... and revealed her precious heart about her personal experiences at her family...

Over time, Sveta began to unfold more. Talk more and even laugh! Today, every day you can hear this children's light-hearted laugh in our house! She found friends and became much more confident in herself. She began to defend for herself and to assert her rights. The girl began to study better in school and in her free time to practice her favorite needlework. When she hears words of encouragement, you would see her shining eyes!Sweet girl...

Looking at her, I see myself in childhood, with low self-esteem and many other problems. She still has a lot of problems. But we see huge changes in her life and behavior! This gives us tremendous hope! We pray that Jesus saved her and healed her broken heart!♥

  Both girls became wonderful friends. Once Lyuba said: "I never thought that we would be friends with Sveta! After all, in the orphanage, we were not friends at all!" :) When she hugs, she keeps you for a few minutes without letting go. ♥

   Children came from very difficult families, where they were deprived of childhood. :( The girls had to go through and see a lot of things ... Orphanage, a shelter for children and a lot of terrible moments both in the families and in the boarding school. Insult, humiliation, ridicule, indifference, loneliness, abandonment, helplessness, drunkenness of parents, tears, fear, hunger and many, many other things.

 And you know what? God turned my greatest fear into a blessing!They became best friends with Masha! :) They protect her when necessary, help, have fun and more. And they even fight together against me and Oksana! Haha

Yes, we have difficulties ... Big and small. It is not easy to be a mom of teenagers with a broken heart and soul. I realized that I, as a mother, need to learn a lot more, very, very much! Every day I learn something new... Every day I learn to depend on Christ, needing His wisdom, patience, and strength. We need a lot of prayer, love and patience ...

Lyuba often remembers and is delighted that we remember and support her from the very childhood.Once a few months later living with us, she asked:" Maybe you adopt me?" And Sveta. "Yes! Yes! And me too!" This is impossible by the law of Ukraine. And I always tell girls that I adopted them in my heart. ♥♥♥We are very attached to each other and love them dearly! We are feeling blessed to support and love them! They stole my heart...

 So, our small family is growing ♥ :) God is doing AMAZING things!

Please, pray for the hearts of these beautiful young ladies! God cover their needs.So that they entrust their lives to Jesus Christ! That He changed their minds and healed broken hearts. So that in Him they find salvation, comfort and peace in hearts. Thank you so much! ♥

God sets the lonely in families

   "I felt like a homeless, and now I'm a human..." These words were uttered by a young lady after we bought her several new things. She was so happy and so excited  that she called her friends and talked on the phone, ran to work to show employees her new clothes, took pictures and put up them in the social networks. It seemed the whole city knew that the girl had new clothes! Her joy was not the end!!! :) ♥

   So, what happened? More than a year ago, someone phoned me and said that Masha was going to take money on credit. I instantly rushed to the bank to stop her from this idea and from the consequences of what a girl might expect. Orphans often do not return loans and they often have problems with the law. 

  We met Masha on the street. We know the young lady for a long time and were happy to meet. She was very hungry! We fed her and had fellowship. When I asked the girl, where do you live? She burst into tears... It turned out she had nowhere to live! Oh, my! How?!

  After she graduated orphanage and then a trade school, she lived with her friend in a dormitory for several months. Then her friend moved out, and Masha was forced to look for another housing. For several weeks she lived in a strange family. She came only for a night. In the morning she left and wandered around the city not knowing what to do... Then she was placed in the center for the homeless. She was frightened and ran away from there.

   I understood that I had to do something so do not to leave the orphan on the street... I understood that I could not help everyone, but I can to help an one. The Lord gave me the decision to take Masha to live with me. I was scared. Since there were serious reasons for this.I knew that this would affect our ministry, the privacy of my sister Oksana and my personal life. I didn’t know if a 20 year old girl could change. I had NO IDEA what to do with her and that it was God's plan ...

  I prayed and asked for the help of God, I asked all our friends to pray. I did not know what to do with her. She was so helpless as a small child... She was terrified, unable to help herself and defenseless. I saw that she had a lot of difficulties in all areas of life. I felt helpless because I didn’t know where to start... Because it’s a huge list of things to teach this poor soul. Trust me, huge! 

  We started to learn the elementary things. How to take care of yourself, make the bed every morning, say gentle words. We taught her how to hug. At first she did not perceive it. But today, when she goes to bed, she asks. "Alla, will you hug me?" :)))

 We were surprised that Masha kept all the documents. Orphans usually lose them. Once studying her documents, we discovered that Masha had another sister whom she did not know about... And that her father died some time ago... :( The poor girl was shocked and  overwhelmed. "Why didn't anyone tell me about it at the orphanage?" the sweetheart asked with tears in her eyes...

  Honestly, every day I waited for her to leave... It is difficult for orphans to obey the rules. I waited that one day she would not return home. I was scared and at the same time heartbroken for her. That she is so helpless. That she will again be on the street. Absolutely not mature and not ready for independent life. This poor girl has a lot of issues...

  Orphans have a lot of difficulties after they leave orphanages. They do not understand that because of their behavior, they can easily be killed, that some situations are very dangerous and their actions can completely destroy their life.
  Masha is kind, very trusting and people manipulate her life, using for their own purposes.

About a month later, we began to see results... It was clear that she tried and it gave us a great hope. Masha very quickly found a job and started earning her first money.

  The young lady could not and did not know how to make tea. She was terrified to turn on the electric kettle. I decided to start teaching her to cook with elementary things. When the young lady learned to fry scrambled eggs. She was  so super excited that she cooked it every day for several weeks!!! :)))
Masha learned to use different household appliances, washing machine, vacuum cleaner, microwave and others. She likes to help to cook in the kitchen.

   Once I asked her. If you like to cook so much. Why don't you go to school to learn for a chef? We helped the girl arrange all the necessary documents. During this, we faced many difficulties and realized that the poor soul would never do it herself in her life! If you know Ukrainian system for paperwork :( God loves her and has a special plan for her life! The Lord himself arranged this meeting 1,5 years ago to help this sweetheart!

  Do you know what?! Today Masha is one of the best students in her group! The precious soul not only cooks well, but is very active in the life of the trade school! She gladly performs the important task assigned to her. Also she won second place in the game of chess between adults with special needs and first place among the women! There was no end to our joy!!! Masha exulted!!!That is huge victory for this sweet girl!!! ♥

   If a year and a half ago, the girl did not have dreams and did not know what she wanted from life. Today she has a dream to work in the kitchen as an assistant chef. We pray that her dream will come true some day!

  Masha loves to be in the fellowship of the church! She loves when we read the word of God together daily. "I feel that something is happening in my heart and it becomes easy and calm there, when we read the Bible". The girl shared her thoughts once. ♥

 It humbles and warms my heart... The main reason is show her the love of Christ!!! That is most AMAZING blessing when a soul feels the presense of God! The precious girl often asks to pray for her salvation. Will you pray for her, please? :)

  It is not always easy... There were many tears and many prayers. Sometimes it was very difficult and unbearably painful... There were moments when I wanted to leave home for a few days and weeks and be alone in the distance...There were moments when I survived the depression. But thank God for many years of serving the orphans, I learned how to overcome this crisis.

   The trauma of childhood is the worst thing that can be... Today I understand very well families with children with FASD(Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder). I know very well what a child with a childhood trauma is. I know  what is tantrums. I understand families with children with special needs. I have to learn soooo much yet!

  When I was thinking. Where will this girl go? What does she feel? What will happen to her tomorrow? She will be on the street again, in danger, alone, in fear... I was even scared to think about it. I realized that she was in pain. That is the spiritual struggle of my spirit and flesh. What the farther I am from Christ, the more I hope for my own strength, the more it hurts me. But the closer to Christ, the more I trust Him, the more you feel His presence and the easier it is to endure all issues. When I have no strength, I begin to give up. God shows his powerful hand. ♥♥♥

And we have seen not once incredible miracles in Masha's life! That was something! We were in awe! A real miracle!

   During these 1,5 years, I realized that I needed to change myself ... I realized how weak I was and I can do NOTHING without Christ! I am totally dependent on Him! Totally! God taught me a lot! I am learning daily and happy to be in the school of Christ! It is not easy to live with a teenage girl with a broken heart and soul. But believe me, it's worth it! When God comes first, when you daily understand why you are doing this. It's worth it! It is worth experiencing all the pain and tears when you see the first small glimpses that give hope. It is worth worrying when you see how the suffering soul needs your help and depends on you. It is worth suffering when you see these small or huge changes in the life of a precious person.

  We do not and cannot know what will happen tomorrow. We don't know God's plans for Masha's life. But we thank God for giving the opportunity to help this poor girl and become part of her huge changes in her life. Over the past year and a half she has changed a lot! Everyone in the church community sees these changes and is undoubtedly happy for her. She began to bloom! She began to live a full life and flourish! God taught me soooo much personally and the whole BOM team as well!

   The Lord accepted us into His huge and loving family. He called us His children and surrounded us with his overflowing love. We praying that the Lord help us to recognize and see those around us, who He wants to put in our family. He sets the lonely in families. We are praying that our hearts be open to Him and to others.♥♥♥

And this is only the beginning of the story. The rest of the story to be continued soon…  ;)

P.S.I just finished this blog post and one beautiful young lady sent me a message. "Call me urgently!" I called her back. And she was crying so much in the phone saying that today her mother died from alcohol ..

A dream that came true

I am so rejoice to tell you about awesome blessing what happened recently!

Most of you...I believe, you already "know" sweet Yaroslava, whom BOM supports.HERE I shared with you about some of troubles she had and how miraculously God blessed her. And mentioned her dream.

Since childhood, she dreamed of learning to play piano.But because of finances, even after graduating orphanage, she could not realize her dream.

But many years later, her dream came true and became a reality! Praise God!!!!!!

Faithful Heavenly Father wonderfully blessed! An one sweet woman, piano teacher in the U.S. has become a tool, and the answer to the prayers of Yaroslava. Today this lovely girl studying this instrument that to serve to the Lord and glorify Him, Who saved her and changed her life.Awesome!

But again, it was not without injustice to the orphans...

Does it seem strange to you? Orphans here are often faced with injustice. It breaks the heart of course, sometimes makes you angry or feel helpless... Often wipe their bitter tears and cried out to God for justice and protect these precious souls.

But again, God allows difficulties to happen because holding up something to bless wonderfully  and give the best that He has already prepared. (Romans 8:28) 

Also, in a situation with our dear soul. A one director denied to Yaroslava. The poor girl was ready to cry and was so upset. 

But in another music school, other director agreed and she liked our sweet girl. :)  Lord arranged everything just perfect and wonderful teacher and classes for weeks and a lot of different things!God is SO good as always!!!!!!

After the first lesson, Yaroslava did not go home but flew on the wings of joy. She was sooooo delighted and jumped for joy! It seemed there was no end of joy and she talked incessantly about her experiences and delighted. She could not believe that her dream finally come true! :)

New vision and a new hope

One day, a young girl came to visit an ophthalmologist with a nurse of orphanage. It was an ordinary workaday gray day, is no different from other days of this poor orphan. She is blind in her right eye and the left very bad sights...

 What the doctor will say? Perhaps there is some hope? After all, day by day I see the bad ... Thought 16 year old girl, sitting in front of a doctor waiting for something better. 

-Dear, things are very bad and you need to wear glasses. Do you know about that? The doctor asked. 

-Yes... But when I wear glasses, my head starts to spin. So I can not wear glasses... Replied the young lady. 

-Well, then you need the eye-lens. Can anyone help you? asked the doctor again knowing she is an orphan.

And here burst into loud laughter. 

-Who? Her lenses? You laugh!Who will help her?Who needs she?-sarcastically said the nurse of orphanage. 

Like a sharp sword plunged into the little heart! Sounded like the last sentence. "Who will help her and who needs she ..." 

So lonely and helpless, orphan girl was ready to burst into tears in the doctor's office, barely holding back tears ... The words stuck in head,  "Who needs she..."

This is a REAL story of young lady, Friends!This is a real story of orphan girl, who felt this hurt and had no hope!
It's NO secret. That many orphans have to pass through the valley of humiliation and helplessness...Many orphans pass through the valley of fear and without hope for help.

But this heartbreaking story has a wonderful end.And this is one more wonderful blessing about what I was going to share with you all for a sooooo long time...

Today, this precious soul distinguishes red and orange colors. Before  this, all blended into one. She began to see more clearly and to distinguish shapes and images. Lovely M. even started a little better to see! How awesome is that? Praise God!!!

This beautiful young lady has a wonderful sponsor from Canada.For the past half-year, she wears lenses already and sooooo happy that God answered her prayers!She is VERY grateful and always thanks God in prayers for this awesome blessing. How amazing is this to hear a thankful prayer from orphan?

Recently we learned that this poor girl has no winter shoes and wears a jacket of her classmate. Learning the details, praying and thinking how to help her. We learned that her friend and beautiful girl O. also had no a winter jacket and boots. Oh, poor children...How it can be?

I know. I know how they felt... One day, I was also in the winter without boots at orphanage.

Seeing and knowing how they are cold. We could not bear it! You should have seen HOW they are poor lambs cold and trembling at the day when we bought the necessary clothing and shoes. Still not understanding the size and did not really see self in the mirror. They trembly from the cold,  hurried to report. "Oh, I love it! I love and it's exelent for me!" When we again asked: "Are you sure?" "Oh, yes, yes!",-they happily responded with sparkling eyes. They both were overjoyed and so happy!!!!

We so and SO happy God miraculously provided winter jackets and boots to these lovely young ladies through His children, who opened their hearts to bless these orphans.We are so glad to know they will stay warm this winter. God is so good!!!

Next year(in a few days, :) ), in summer, these 2 precious girls will join to our local church and stay with us , where we fully will be able to help them in needed things and support them. We are so excited!

They can not wait for, when this will happen also, as they have to endure a lot and to go through at orphanage. But they also very scared, because they do not know what awaits them in the future and where to go.They both want to enrol to some colleges.Would you, please, remember them both in your prayers?

Terrible suffering and then be surprisingly blessed

I am sooooo thrilled to tell you amazing news and blessing!!!It seems that my heart now will jump out for joy and excitement. :)

But first. It is a heartbreaking and terrible story. :(

It is only a little part of an orphaned girl, who had so many troubles in the last few weeks. It is just a few things what happens with orphans after they leave orphanages.I will tell you a little what are the difficulties and trials meet face to face these lonely and defenseless children.It will be heartbreaking story with happy end.

Well. I will start from the beginning.
Do you remember that several months ago we asked you to pray for a one precious soul, Yaroslava?Do you remember that we did not know what to do and how to help her?All we could, it is pray for her...

Very soon, director of the dormitory where she lived , began to tell pressuring on her every day . That Yaroslava would enroll in some trade school. If she will not go to this school , director would kicked out this poor girl on the street. Of course Yaroslava was very scared and under pressure , with tears and fear she went there to study. But the worst thing is that she feels embarrassed there, because it's school only for boys. She is only an one girl of 22 boys of her group . At this school, where about 130 guys are only 2 or 3 girls . 

How do you think she feels like there ? Take classes, where you do not want , where you feel uncomfortable and pressure. Is it fair to acquire profession boys what do not need for a girl, only because not to be on the street?

Director of dorm promised that this sweetheart could live there for another year. Then, each day she changed her mind. That Yaroslava will be able to live just before the New Year. Then, just before December of this year. Then, she said different. And it was every day! One day, she said. You go to that trade school, then you must live in the dormitory of the school. 

Trust me. We saw this dorm. It seems worse than ever seen before! Windows and doors are beaten. Locks broken out. Torn mattresses on the beds, the beds are broken. Horrible spectacle. Moreover guys often fight with knives. Police there is often a guest. 

And the director wanted that this precious girl lived in a dorm for boys? This poor girl, in tears,  every day called me pouring out the pain of her soul....

Oh, my!It is so heavy seeing poor orphan in tears and feeling myself so helpless! All we could. It is give comfort her and pray trusting to the Lord.

Then in a one or two weeks again а trouble... 

Administrator of dormitory was cleaning all sorts of unnecessary things from one of the rooms, where there was a storage room.In that storage, all children(of the dorm) could to store their winter and various other things. 

Some winter clothes what belong to children orphans, including things of Yaroslava the lady threw to garbage on the street. It was the only one Yaroslava`s winter jacket, boots, and a few other clothes! Can you imagine the shock of these children??? What did they feel? Who would wipe their tears? 

With only a few things that belong to them, someone without their permission dispose of them. Throws in the trash, depriving the only one things.It seems that these "graduated" children still live in orphanage... 

When Yaroslava complained to the director of the dorm about this trouble. The director replied coldly to her. "That's your problem, deal with them yourself." And that's it.... :(

When children start to complain about the workers of  dormitory, they name-calling them rude and demeaning words. Humiliate them. There is no understanding, etc. 

Yaroslava not once complained about workers and crying about which humiliating and rude words they called them. The administration does not believe the words of children thinking them liars. Or may not want to believe because it is beneficial to them? 

Then this sweetheart was sick 3 weeks. She is now much better and she feels good. Glory to God! But another problem again...

One teacher from the school, where the study Yaroslava came and began to complain to the director dorm that Yaroslava shirk school.If she will not come to class , she was turned out of school ?What?

The director knew at the time that BOM supports Yaroslava . We bought her food and medicine . She called us and started to complain. We are quite well aware of this girl and we knew that she could not cheat. After listening to the director we have explained , giving her to understand that we believe more to Yaroslava, and no one to another, who was involved in this situation, we have never had any problems with her and that she really is sick. This woman unexpected that we will stand up for this poor orphan . She paused for a moment. Apparently not knowing what to say. After a moment, she said , "well I 'll decide problem myself" . But we knew well, who was right and that she will no longer offend this poor girl .

But the story is not over...

When Yaroslava felt a little better , the director has again started to put pressure on her. If she does not go to school, she would kick her out of the dorm . If I was a mother, I would not let my child in this state to go to class. But sometimes we are helpless ... 

At this time in Ukraine was terrible cold. Usually this weather is in late October or early November . But not in the middle of September! Many houses , schools , kindergartens , hospitals, etc. not heated . And many people have became ill . We were worried that Yaroslava not feeling still well, went to school, get sick even worse. But by the grace of God and the prayers of many , she feels good.

At this time , all students received stipend . When her turn came, Yaroslava  was refused . Explaining that she  shirked all the classes at school . When she started to explain that brought sickness certificate from doctor that she was really sick. She still was refused.

Poor girl again in tears, came pouring out of her heart . She had hoped that this money will be able to buy something to get dressed and put on shoes . After all her belongings thrown out , as I mentioned above. This is terrible! How it can be ?Where is the justice? This is a crime!

"Remove not the old landmark; and enter not into the fields of the fatherless: For their redeemer [is] mighty; he shall plead their cause with thee". (Proverbs 23:10-11)KJV

This is her field and money belongs to her!

We realized that the head teacher of the school, is up to something and is not going to give money. This precious soul every day reminded him of stipend. We decided to pray and ask God to intercede and intervene on behalf of this poor orphan. If in the next week, nothing happens. We thought to go and ask him. Why did he illegally holds the money of that student girl? And that Yaroslava went and wrote a statement about head teacher at the prosecutor's office that she would have given her money. 

The head teacher became even more angry and was not going to give this poor girl owned her stipend finding all kinds of excuses. At the last meeting, he threw her out of the office and having called humiliating her.

And do you know what? We did not have long to wait! Very soon, this man went unexpectedly somewhere. No one could understand why he just "left" his job without a reason. Later, everyone knew that he was caught in a very bad case and was disgraced for all the school. 

"A [good] name [is] rather to be chosen than great riches, [and] loving favour rather than silver and gold". 

I do not want to say what. It is very bad. But not because of the money. He was deprived of his actions because a criminal one. Now director of this school is looking for another head teacher or vice-principal. Woman, who temporarily replaces him, and found out the problem Yaroslava promised that next month she will receive a stipend for two months. 

We were VERY surprised that God has answered our prayers and so quickly resolved the issue. Wow!It is amazing!

 "Rob not the poor, because he [is] poor: neither oppress the afflicted in the gate:  For the LORD will plead their cause, and spoil the soul of those that spoiled them". (Proverbs22:22-23)

All this happened during little more than month...:( This sweet girl has undergone so much misery and hardship and shed so many bitter tears ... It's all horrible and heartbreaking ...

But God loves this precious and lovely girl! You will not believe, but Heavenly Father sent her housing!

A one beautiful and lovely family decided to support this beautiful young girl. God connected  their hearts by an invisible thread of love. :) They sent her huge amount of blessing, which is enough to rent an apartment for a year! Also they blessed her with new shoes, winter boots, autumn/spring jacket and other things! It is more then amazing!WOW!

When we were looking for housing for family of Zhenya. At the same time, we looked for apartment for Yaroslava. It was not easy. We had some difficulties. But God is SO good as always! :)

We decided to make her a small and pleasant surprise showing how God loves and cares about her. We bought flowers and balloons. And left a little message on the card.

When we were walking to the apartment, she absolutely had NO idea what is waiting for her! :)

There was a note which had a text:
Dear Yaroslava!
God loves you! He heard your heartfelt prayers and sent you this rented apartment.
Since this day you can not worry about where you will live next months.
Only live, be happy and thank your Heavenly Father, who always takes care of his children, especially orphans who love Him. :)

She was blown away!

This lovely girl was AMAZED!And all time said," I am in shock. I can not believe! I can not believe!" :)

This sweetheart said that she is even MORE then happy and hugged everyone :)

Then she began to learn her home.

Also she was surprised that there is piano. Honestly, we were surprised too. :) We know that Yaroslava dreams to learn play on piano. When she saw it, she start to play immediatly!She was SO excited!

We pray God will make it possible that her dream come true some day. It will costs her $50.00 per month. Maybe someone is interested to help this precious girl her dream come true? :) It is not late yet to get in music school. This is not all! Yaroslava will not live alone. There is enough place for several girls! So, we plan to settle someone there.How is AWESOME this blessing?! :)

I am just AMAZED how God organized everything and did everything in time!

You will not believe it , but we know this treasure only 3 months! When we found out that she will have no place to live after a few months , we began to pray that God would be given her shelter. At that point, we had NO idea that we will support her, and that the BOM will take part in it. We invited her to our church , and since then , she faithfully attends every service . As it is very easy to talk with her , so we became friends with her very quickly. Then more we learned what she had suffered as a child in the orphanage and now. The more it broke in pieces and humbled our hearts ... 

After a few weeks Yaroslava will have to leave the dorm. Just a few days ago, she was very worried and prayed.  She just had no where to go! But God sent housing in time and she is very happy! Praise Him for that!!! God is awesome and amazing!!!!!!  :)

Thanks to one orphaned girl, many children received Bibles

 I am so sorry, did not blog for some days.I know that many of you wait each update and it`s such encouragement for us.We have been busy as always.Also I was sick a little.But nothing serious, only caught a cold and my muscles of a back had hurt so much that I could not do something physically.Now everything is well.Praise God!

 So, I can blog again and I`m very excited! :)

Do you see so many kiddies?No, this is not an orphanage. :) I`m very exciting to share with you an awesome blessing and amazing day we had recently.

 It is interesting to see it, how God acts and uses people for His glory. I with such joy wish to tell you as thanks to one orphaned girl, many children received wonderful book, the Bible.

The matter is that an organization the Ukrainian Bible Society wished to distribute children's Bibles to orphans in orphanages. As to orphanages to get sometimes not simply and permission of the directors and many other operations is necessary. Then they asked BOM about it. Certainly, we were happy that our dear children would receive free of charge Bibles! But disappointment comprehended  because children in orphanages (those who can read) went home on autumn vacation.In one of orphanages now is quarantine. Children are sick with chicken pox. Poor kids. :(  And for other reasons we could not go to some orphanages.  Then we suggested to visit children in local children's sanatorium.

Sanatorium — treatment- prophylactic institution in which for treatment use mainly natural factors in a combination to physiotherapy exercises, physiotherapy and a balanced diet in case of observance of a certain mode of treatment and rest.

This sanatorium for tuberculosis prevention. If doctors noted, something wrong in an organism of the child, the weakened immune system that is subject to risk of a disease of tuberculosis etc. They send the child for treatment in hospital if needed or to this sanatorium.

So it is children's against - tubercular sanatorium (TB sanatorium).

Children had possibility to look at puppet show that presented the Bible scene about our sinful hearts and about importance to find a place for Jesus there.

Brother Misha spoke to children about importance of reconcilement with Jesus Christ and what He made for us.

And at the end of wonderful meeting all children received a surprising gift. It is the Bible! All were very glad!
BOM helped to distribute it with such big pleasure.

The smallest ones, which aren't able to read yet, received small gifts, where there were sweets and school supplies.

It was awesome blessing that 80 kids from poor families could receive such remarkable gifts!

We were so glad that God used BOM to help these all precious children to hear and recieve God`s word.

We had such amazing meeting with children and the sanatorium administration so warmly invited BOM come and continue to visit these children. May be God opens one more door? But when we can do it?...

You can ask how we got to this sanatorium? :)

The matter is that since summer one of orphans was in this institution as her family didn't wish to see her at house on summer vacations.The father of this sweet girl even started to threaten the director of an orphanage. "If you don't take away her, I  will kick her out on the street or I will bind to a tree and I will leave her in the wood".

 That this child wouldn't remain on the street, the director of a orphanage was stimulated to place her in this sanatorium. When we learned about this poor lovely girl Nastya, we started to visit her there.She felt alone there and stressful, she felt bored and unwanted. You would see HOW she flew to us when we came to her the first time! Sometimes she rang and with tears, begged us. "Please, come to me. I already can't any more!" 

 One wonderful family sponsors her and those gifts that sent to her, sweet lovely notes with Bible verses, there was such surprising encouragement for her and a consolation that she is not one and she is loved. If parents left her and don't care, don't want to see her and to them her destiny is indifferent. So there are those to whom her destiny and life isn't indifferent who prays and cherishes her in the hearts and daily prayers.

Nastya fell in love with the sponsors and calls them her dear family. It is surprising how sometimes the Lord connects hearts of people at distance of  thousands and  thousands kilometers! There is a thin thread for which there are no barriers, mountains and oceans, it is a thread named God's love in the hearts of the born again Christians.

For a long time training in orphanages began and Nastya received medical treatment long ago. We couldn't understand in any way, why she still in this sanatorium? why she don't take away, she shall be already in the orphanage. She very much missed her "home". And many other questions were twisted in the head.Why? Why she is still there in this institution and so suffers emotionally?..

But that day when many children from poor families could receive Bibles and hear the Gospel, we understood why. Thanks to this poor girl, thanks to her stay there, thanks to meetings with her, 80 children received the most expensive gift. It is surprising how God acts! In 1 day after this meeting with these sweet children, Nastya was taken away into the orphanage! She is already no more in this institution. Literally after our meeting there!It`s awesome blessing!!!Our Lord Jesus is so good!

But there is more to come. Probably for some dear souls only the beginning...

Do you see these 2 beautiful teen girls?Marina is in white jacket on the left and Oksana is the friend and her classmate.We met them in the same sanatorium when had the meeting with children. Both of them are orphans and are in the same orphanage where there I was many years ago... I was surprised partly.

 Sometimes I recall this orphanage as a gray gloomy and terrible building... Always it reminded me a prison. Sometimes it seems to me that it there was the most awful orphanage what I knew for that time. My last years were simply terrible and awful there. I couldn't wait when I will end and I can avoid everything that afflicted and humiliated me. And during same time it was terrible. It is terrible that you alone, are  unprotected and nobody will help you...

But HOW I was surprised that Marina accepted Jesus Christ a few years ago at our meeting in a TB hospital and today she is faithful Christian, loving the Lord Jesus with all her heart!

"I remember you". Having silently approached to us and having modestly told the lovely girl. "I remember when you came to us to TB hospital and told about God".

"What!?" I am shocked asked her."Do you still remember all our meetings?"Yes, she replied. "Do you still remember what we told you and showed in the Bible, how we learned Bible verses, songs etc?" Yes, lovely smiling, replied Marina.

Oh, my goodness!It`s AMAZING meeting!!!I could not believe to hear it!God, you are awesome!!!

Rejoicing I huged her and I was sooooo happy to this surprising meeting!

Having come home I started to look for with interest  long ago the forgotten pictures. And I found! I was so glad that on pictures Marina's face clearly was visible and I found its and recalled her partly. One of the reasons why I store all pictures! :) Only it is sad that for years earlier we had no camera. And many memories are stored only in our memory and our hearts.
But I was so happy that found dozen pictures where Marina was rather well visible.

Here are several.

Marina accepted Jesus Christ!She so grew since then! She was 12 years old here.I think it will be such sweet memory picture to her. :)

The matter is that in 2008 in addition to orphanages and orphans, we had a service in the children`s TB hospital. We visited children and had wonderful meetings with them telling them about Jesus Christ.Kids all time waited with such joy. Hospital administration always waited for us hospitably and there doors always were open. We had meetings only on the street. Indoors to us didn't permit, there was a risk to fall ill with tuberculosis. Did you know that Ukraine takes the first places in a tuberculosis disease in Eastern Europe? The majority of the diseased, is people in prisons and homeless.In Ukraine there is a obligation, each Ukrainian is obliged to pass photoroentgenography every year. The risk to get sick with tuberculosis was and is here but it in control.And God protected us always. :)

Holding meetings with children we even couldn't think that there could be orphaned children.We could not think that we can meet them and they will remember us and what we told them.It`s such wonderful blessing!

Marina is at orphanage since childhood.Her brother is in other orphanage and she miss him a lot. She never saw her father and mother  is in alcohol abuse.But this sweet girl prays for her mother and believe God will change her life.

 So, now we visit these two wonderful souls in this sanatorium and we visit, while they will be there. From that day we became friends and they are lovely girls who look for fellowship, friendship and support is necessary to them. ;)

We had such blessed and amazing day at that time!!!!!!!!God is sooooo good and surprising!!!!

BIG news!

Oh, my goodness!It`s such exciting news!!!We are soooooo extremally happy to know a family who is going to adopt our sweet and presious Masha!We are so happy to know they chose her to give their love, care and bright future.Wow!We are so excited to know and pray for this family!Our hearts are full so many emotions and full of joy and it seem that my heart will jump out. :)))

A Family found Masha!

Wow!We are so thrilled!What a great joy and happiness!I can not find words to tell you HOW we are happy! It seems our hearts would jump out! A family found our little princess Masha!

I have told you before we spoke with director of orphanage about her to find a family.He gave his permit.Now she is on page Reece's Rainbow My Family Found Me .We are soooooo exciting and can not wait to find out who is this family.There simply are no words!We praise the Lord they chose this precious little girl to get her and care, give a future and their love to her forever!What awesome God we serve!He is soooo good and worthy of glory!He is exalted and He is mighty!

School Supplies for Orphans

Hello everyone!Finally I can share with you an amazing blessing we have! First of all I would love to thank you everyone for your sweet e-mails, encouragements, prayers and support.You all are awesome and wonderful friends!Big thank you! :) God bless you for your sweet hearts!


With joy in my heart I want to let you know we raised $710 for school supplies to orphans with your help!It is for all period.Is not amazing? How is good Lord Jesus! What a blessing!
We have bought a LOT OF things need to children and orphanages.These are exercise books, sketchbooks, playdough, pens, pencils, printer paper, colorful pencils, glue stick, paint, brushes, exercise books with printer base paper etc.

These all supplies you can see on pictures.

 

 

 

These are pens.Children in Ukrainian schools write by blue pens.Can they use black pens?Yes, but only pupils of older classes.

 

This is how look exercise book inside.

 

We have bought exercise books on 12 sheets for young kids and commonplace-books for older children, 48 sheets.

The Exercise books with printer base paper how is look inside.Children learn about Ukraine, some things from geography, nature, biology etc. and fill in and dye special places in these exercise books.Just let you know these exercise books we bought only to an one orphanage, not in all orphanages children do that.

 

For English speaking persons I would like to let you know that children learn English in one orphanage. :) They need special workbooks.

It is sad that only healthy children can learn English.We minister most orphans with special needs and they do not learn English.But in several orphanages they would do that, if they have enough finances.I am sure children would LOVE it!And they really exciting to hear English words! :)

 

We are so happy we were able to buy it to help orphans!We are so glad by God`s love and His care about them!And we are sooo happy you are God`s tools in His wonderful hands, whom He use for His glory! :)

It is not all! During these days(hope tomorrow) we are going to buy more school supplies.I will show you pictures and let you know about it soon when we will do that.

 So, our Project School Supplies still continue.We do not know the end.Administration of orphanages let us know, children need everything now.But they will be happy to get it when we will bring.

We hope next week to visit several orphanages if God`s will.Please, pray God will help us do that and organize.Thank you!
