Heartbreaking news...

I have so much to share with you but not now...Our hearts are broken...

Our brother Misha and director of BOM learned that few hours ago died his father. Thanks to God he lived about 2,5 years more after his sickness with heart. But as every human his time came today...

Please, pray God console and comfort his heart and send needed funds for funeral. We all are very sad, feeling pain and cry for the loss and sorrow of our Pastor...

A nest for swallow

Bible says: "Yea, the sparrow hath found an house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, [even] thine altars, O LORD of hosts, my King, and my God" (Psalm 84:3)

Our member of BOM team Nadya reminds me the swallow. She flies as swallow! She is fast in doing something or organizing. But a swallow in Scripture "has found a nest for herself". But our "swallow" can not find a housing for herself for a MONTH already...

The problem is that Nadya moved out every year during 9 years. Each time our "swallow" finds a housing and an owner decided to sell apartment or has another reason why Nadya forced to move out. You can imagine how it`is stressful for her and her daughter! Also Nadya lives by faith as each month she does not know where take funds pay for housing. That is interesting what is doing God in Christian lives. BOM team helps homeless young adults with housing at same time having same trouble.

Nadya lives on rented apartment. A month ago she had to move out. Today is the last day and owner says she can not wait any more.Students came to study to Institutions and rent apartments. Also many refugees fled from East of Ukraine and live on rented apartments too. It is harder find a housing now.

Also harder find a housing for Nadya because she tries to find cheap nest for her and her daughter. Every months she pays 1600 hryvnia($123). Now apartments cost 2000 hryvnia($153) with one room. What is impossible for our swallow. In winter will be more expensive.

Every month God makes a miracle sending these funds! As BOM team does not receive monthly salary or payment but lives by faith God will provide a daily bread. During 9 years God never left Nadya but always provides necessary funds! It is a REAL miracle!!!! As He promised take care of His children. God is good and He is faithful even we are not faithful.

"Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved". (Psalm 55:22)

So, we ask you as Church of Christ pray for Nadya`s situation. Please, pray God will provide a lovely nest for Nadya and her daughter, cheaper or provide necessary funds that Nadya would not worry every months, where take money for housing.God knows what is the best. Nadya trusts Her Saviour with all her heart and she knows He will do the best in her life.She will be VERY thankful and humbled for your prayer support! She and her daughter Vlada needs a real miracle these days!It is urgent need!Thank you!

(Psalm145:18) The LORD [is] nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth. He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them.  

A little bit about everything

A very short update. We continue to serve our Heavenly Father, visiting lonely souls and orphans in orphanages.

Most meetings we have with graduates.

With those, who will start to live independent life in several months...

 Most of the kids are scared and  afraid to leave orphanages .

Please, remember them in your prayers.

Finally we have prepared a main program to go to orphanages. Tell kids a Bible story about Birth of Jesus and bring gifts.It takes us longer then we planed. But anyway we are very excited! :)

We were so glad to have packed these special gifts to our dear teens and young adults.

PLEASE, continue to pray for Ukraine!!! Troops finally left Maidan at the capital. It seems there became more quiet... But the situation is still VERY tense here. Everyday something happens.So many different things is going on! But the most. Please pray that Ukraine would not split and for our government. We love our beautiful country and our people, but the situation more and more hard... Our hearts are saddened and it hurts very much. :(

Today is high tension in Kyiv .Violence Returns to Ukrainian Capital agian! Today is a huge turning point and at this moment, it is worse than any day with regards to violence, since it started in Ukraine.  There so many injured and some died.

Today roads to capital started to block. People are outraged by the closing of the Kiev subway.  Closed subway.

IT`S GETTING WORSE!Prayers for Ukraine!

We ask you fervently pray for Ukraine, PLEASE!Some time ago we asked you support us in prayer. In Ukraine is revolution during 2 months already.But everything is getting WORSE here! It seems as it became to civil WAR!

Civil war in the country becomes more brutal.

Berkut is shooting at people with plastic bullets, use water cannons and throwing tear gas bombs.

Over hundreds and hundreds people with burns and different wounds have been hospitalized( same as protesters and "Berkut", it is police), 4 people lost their sight, one person has lost an arm. 

Around 20 journalists were injured,  about 500 people asked for medical help, more than 30 people in the police, some of them could face up to 15 years in prison for participating in rallies.

This all is VERY scary, hurts, disheartening, makes me sick to my stomach!!! We tearfully are yelling and plead God to stop this all and give peace!!!! As Christians we are not involved in this and do not wish.Yes, we should fight! But believers should fight on knees!!! Bible says: 

 "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high [places]."  (Ephesians6:12)

Bad news. Prayers for precious pregnant mommies!

I have bad news for you dear Friends.

Recently, I told you that Kolya and Zhenya are expecting their second baby. But we learned that our sweet mommy may lose this precious babe... Please, pray for the health of our young mom and her little treasure. That this sweet family might rejoice, when the little one will born.

And more bad news and prayer request.

Our dearest Olga very poorly tolerates pregnancy.She has a very bad anemia. Olga suffer from this since her childhood. Never been treating her health in orphanage.Does anyone pay attention to this minor illness?

I was not paying attention as well... Until the doctor Olga said that it is very bad. This not only affects the development of the child and mother. But also in the birth process. The doctor said that there may be bad consequences with the child or the mother.  Or Olga simply  may not  survive during childbirth...

Here what I have found on Internet:

Severe or untreated iron-deficiency anemia during pregnancy can increase your risk of having:

• A preterm or low-birth-weight baby 
• A blood transfusion (if you lose a significant amount of blood during delivery)

Doctors said they would do a blood transfusion for Olga, if the hemoglobin does not increase in the near future.

• Postpartum depression
• A baby with anemia
• A child with developmental delays

What I have found HERE

Iron-deficiency anemia during pregnancy is linked to an increased risk of preterm deliveryand low birth weight. It's also associated with a higher risk of stillbirth or newborn death, so it's something to take seriously.

We help our young mommy with iron rich foods but it does not help... And I am not very happy that Olechka has a bad appetite. Probably because of anemia?

Sasha is not happy doctor of Olga. He not once complained that he saw not a good attitude to his wife. Once a doctor appointed injections to increase iron in the blood Olga. When husband bought it, he read the instruction, he learned that these injections are contraindicated for pregnant women at all!It COULD KILL their baby!!!! Oh, my. Why are doctors so irresponsible??? But we trust them our life! So scary. Ooh!

Sasha complained chief medical clinic, explaining the situation. Chief doctor said that will deal with their doctor . And advised to continue to go for a visit, but do not buy medicine, those that she attributes, and to go to another doctor ( to whom she said ), and to consult with him.

Wouldn't it be better to change the doctor at all?I really do not know or they can do it.One of these days, Sasha is going to go to the clinic to resolve this issue.

In any case. PLEASE, pray for lovely mother, for her health and their baby. If earlier she was not afraid to give birth. Today she is very scared. Sasha also worry and is afraid of losing his dearest and beloved wife and unborn sweet boy. Pray they trust more to the Lord and for peace in their hearts.Thanks a lot!!

A little Ehdick is going to be a big brother! Yes, the lovely family Kozak, Olga and Sasha are expecting one more baby somewhere in April. :)

On this picture is their little angel. The baby looked so a month ago. So precious!

But Olga has some issues with health. The doctor said that it can affect the baby. We would be so grateful, if you please support this family in your prayers. Especially for the health of Olga and babe.Thank you very much!

Housing again?

We call these recent months, September and October, "Months of Housing". We have to provide a housing for one more family. :)

We were looking for housing for family of Zhenya, then for Yaroslava. And now we have to find housing for a family Kozak. The owner has sold an apartment and we have to find a new home for them. We have only 2 weeks! This is a very and very short period of time! 

In addition, we need to help find housing for another orphaned boy. This is interesting what God is doing!

Olga and Sasha pray that God has provided them with housing. They have nowhere to go. Will you support them in prayer to God to set it up? That we will find not expensive and good housing for this lovely and young family.This is urgent, Friends!Thank you!

Also continue to pray for my health. The other day I felt a little better. But today the whole day I spent in bed again. Thank you very much for all your wonderful love, prayer support and emails. It humbles my heart in thanksgiving to God for all of you.

Quite a stressful week.

We have some troubles and this week is quite stressful for us. I feel very upset and disappointed. Some moments absolutely breaks my heart.My eyes do not dry from the tears. Several days already my hearts hurts... I very hope it is not because all these troubles. Would you pray, please? Pray God protected us from evil, pray for wisdom and strength,  do Lord`s will and see His guidance and good health for us. We really need your prayer support  these days.Thank you very much!

P.S. I have several updates for you and would like to share . I am going to do it every day. But...it is hard. I will do it as soon as possible. When I will feel physically better. Thank you for all your love!

Need prayers for healing

I was going tell you about some awesome blessings we have. But a some precious soul needs our prayers of healing during these days.

Olga student, who because of your wonderful care and support today is getting an education. She is very glad! 

This sweet soul needs $661 more to be fully funded! Our thermometer on the blog, shows that we are so close to our goal $1700! :) Great! Thanks a lot everyone, who is taking part in it. 

But on Tuesday from school by tutor was called an ambulance and she was taken to hospital with high fever. On examination she was diagnosed with purulent tonsillitis . Poor girl . Olechka is very sick right now and looks very sickly. She can not walk alone. When she stands up, she feels dizzy and feels bad. I do not know the reason . Maybe because of the high fever? 

But on the first day, when we came to visit her , we have not talked for a long time . And she decided to show us the wound on her hand opening it, because she already  putted a drip. It was a bit bleeding . She said, "Oh, I wish I did not show you it. I feel sick".  Poor girl suddenly felt bad  and fell to the floor. We have not even had time to react, because we did not think that she might lose consciousness! Oh, my! We're all frightened started to call on the help of nurses . We worried that she did not have a concussion because she hit of the head. Most  sadly that we could not catch her and give help . As we were talking at the door , through a special small window, where you can visit the sick in the isolation ward and communicate. All that we could shout it , knock on the window and call for help. We were very scared. Poor girl . Nurses ran in time and looked  fearfulness also . When we explained to one of the nurses that Olga girl from the orphanage , alone and she needs special support . The nurse started to calm us , that we would not have to worry , because there are all good providers in this ward . And they will take care of this precious girl . It's a little reassured us .

 Every day we buy it necessary that the doctor prescribes medicines and food. The hospitals are not well fed. If you no one will bring additional food, you'll be a long time to recover, or even more sick...

This loving soul needs your prayers now and these next days.Also, please, keep pray we can raise all necessary funds to help this sweetheart with education and getting medication to be healed soon.Thank you so much!

Not good news

Well. I have not good news for you, dear Friends.

All the while we were busy in search of housing for family Zhenya . 

We glued  announcements wherever possible, called , went to several towns , walked for hours through the streets and homes, and asked the people, also we left the announcement in some newspaper . In those cities, where we thought we settle this family , there are no agents or brokers, who could help in the search for housing. People have to do it yourself. It seems, you can spend months in searching of housing...

It was difficult, because it is very cold right now in Ukraine +7, +10C(+44.6, +50F) This weather is usually in late October or November. Do not even want to leave the house, when the rain every day for 6 weeks, very cold and damp. Brrr! Many people have started to get sick. We are all , by the grace of God are healthy.

Rain washed away everything. We  had to renew the announcements  . And all this is to no avail. We can not find housing for this poor family. We do not know what to do. Maybe God has a different plan , or we just have to wait or go to other cities and towns ? I do not know. We need your prayer support , friends. That God has opened what is in His plans. What He wants that we would do. That He would direct our hearts and eyes , where He wants,  where ever the family settled.PLEASE, keep pray!Thanks a lot.

Zhenya is worried much. Almost daily calls and asks, if we found something ...

Expecting a baby

Lena is at hospital now in delivery room. She has not given birth yet. We are all expecting for when Sophia will come to this world. But her mommy Lena, this precious girl is VERY scared and crying... She called and asked me that I would have attended to her at birth. Having a little experience a year ago, :) I would have to go and support the Lena  in this exciting moment. I started to worry too. We need your prayers now so much! Please, please pray!Pray for peace in heart, good childbirth and healthy baby!Thank you!!!

More news about Vlada

The first. I would love to thank for your prayers about Vlada. It is amazing and such great encouragement! It is so wonderful to receive your emails and notes, seeing your concern about this preciuos girl.

Nadya is so impressed by your love and care of her daughter. She is so excited to receive a note that someone, far away, across the ocean, loves her child. :) THANK YOU so much!!!

The second. I have not so good news. Several doctors  examined of Vlada. And they all say the same thing. 

That they can not do the surgery for Vlada, as she becomes a teenager. A several of weeks ago she turned 12 years old. 

If she will do the surgery now,  her face may be distorted or contorted, because she is still growing. The doctor prescribed treatment that would remove the headaches. Vlada takes all the necessary medications. 

Also, the doctor said that he needed to wait and see what happens. But no one knows HOW LONG to wait... :(

The doctor said that the best solution of this problem would be, if a cyst would blowed up  and everything came out by itself. Then would not have to do the surgery. Hmm.Maybe we have to pray for this? Do not know...

So we should pray unceasingly, wait patiently and see what will happen...

We kindly ask you, PLEASE, continue to pray for Vlada and her sickness. God will do something.Thanks a lot!!!

Lena and her baby

The doctor said that this week  Lena should to give birth of her precious baby.She is doing well thanks to your prayers. But she is nervous a little and worries. It is not surprise. You know how stressful can be last days. But at the same time Lena excited and can not wait when her little treasure come into this world and take her in her arms.  How is exciting! She gave her name Sophia. Beautiful name. Isn`t it? :)

Because of your love and care, Lena started to eat better and get all the necessary that a baby would be born healthy for God's glory and our joy.Many, many thanks to you all!

Please, continue to pray for Lena and her little girl.Thank you!

Update about daughter of Nadya

My apologize to keep you waiting soooo long for news about Vlada, daughter of Nadya. We were very busy these two weeks. It was impossible and very hard to find a time.

Finally, Vlada was able to pass some medical tests and do tomography of the head. It is so sad and disappointing . But discovered another cyst. Thus poor girl has two cysts on both sides of the nose. :( One of them is very large and has for a year there!Oh, my! Thus it appears that surgery is inevitable...

One of the doctors said that if she will do the surgery but  by the old method. Nadya learned that  people after surgery by this old method,   their face swells up all over, sometimes people lose their sense of smell or partial vision and more. In short there are bad consequences. The precious girl has gradually started to lose part of her hearing. I do not know, or because of this disease ... Her loving mother is trying to find a doctor, who will agree to do the surgery by gentle manner without causing terror and not hurting her daughter.

Please, keep pray for healing of this sweet girl and God will lead Nadya to a good doctor.Thank you so much!!!

But even in these days of worries and fear, God shows His mercy and shows His power. Oh, how great and generous with his almighty hand!Our wonderful and merciful God has heard your prayers, my dear friends.

He sent all the necessary funds for this small treasure! And even more. He sent twice as much as was needed! Do you believe it? Oh, my!It is absolutely UNEXPECTED amazing blessing!

Nadya was ready to scream with joy and excitement. :) For a long time she still could not believe it and thought it was a dream.Vlada hotly thanked her Heavenly Father for the care and love. :)

A lot inordinately gratefulness for your generosity and such a huge handsome gift. Honestly, I did not expect, and this a huge blessing to my dear friend convicted me in disbelief.

Would you pray for healing please?

We need your support in many prayers, dear Friends.God has made so many miracles in BOM ministry to precious children and personal lives of the team as well.

And now we ask for mercy of the Lord Jesus and miracle in life of a one small 11 years old girl Vlada.She is a sweet and Jesus-loving girl, daughter of Nadya, member of BOM team.

Recently, when this sweetie started complaining of headaches often and fainted. It frightened her loving mother and she decided to visit the doctor together with the kid. The diagnosis was made to this girl, a Maxillary Sinus Cyst of a nose. :(

We never heard about it but here what I have found.

Common Symptoms

Symptoms such as headaches; facial pain, including in a tooth or eye; chronic sinus infection; pressure; and swelling can be experienced if a maxillary sinus cyst grows too large or lies in a sensitive area. These cysts can form near the opening of an ostium, a tube that allows the sinus to drain, and can close off the opening. This causes increased facial pain and swelling because of the prevention of normal drainage.

Diagnosis

To diagnose a maxillary sinus cyst, a computed axial tomography (CAT) scan or magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) exam is performed. Other testing, such as an electronystagmogram (ENG), which measures eye movement, might be necessary to rule out other causes of the patient's symptoms. In some cases, a doctor might perform an endoscopy, in which a thin, flexible tube with a tiny camera on one end is used to examine the sinuses.

Surgery

Medical treatments used when a maxillary sinus cyst becomes infected or large enough to cause significant symptoms consist mainly of courses of antibiotics and surgery. Traditionally, open sinus surgery was the only option, bringing the potential for scarring and a long recovery time. The effort to avoid risks such as these has caused endoscopic sinus surgery to grow in popularity. In endoscopic surgery, the entire procedure is done by viewing the image sent from a tiny camera that is inserted through the nostril of the patient. After the cysts is surgically removed, a biopsy might be performed to ensure that it was not cancerous.   Taken from HERE 

 We kindly ask you to pray for completely healing of Vlada.But the greatest problem in that that the doctor can't appoint treatment for Vlada. Because it is necessary to pass completely medical testing. The doctor says that probably it will be necessary to do surgery, but at first it is necessary to do sound medical judgement. It costs huge money. Nadya feels absolutely helpless... As mother, she worries and concern for the daughter, but can't help. Therefore her hope and a trust only on God's mercy.

Our blog read the majority of mothers, who have their own children. I think, you can understand how Nadia hurts and what her heart feels for the child. Nadya is my best friend.My heart hurts because her heart hurts for her childie.Please, pray that the Lord would bless this sweet girl and provided to her all necessary to do medical testing and doctor appointed treatment to her  or will probably have to do surgery. One God knows...

Great news!

Praise God!!! Alleluiah!Jesus answered our prayers! He is so good! Finally, after long days of worries and trials, family Watkins  will be flying home on Sunday morning and be home for Lindsay's wedding. Passports are printed and everything is well!What a great joy! We are so excited and so amazed!God`s mercy and love is so great and so astonishing!

Almost the half year ago we asked you  pray for brother Misha trouble he had.Many of you know but some no.It could affect our local church and orphan`s ministry very seriously for many long years.It is even impossible to imagine what would happen...

Brother Misha COULD BE deported from Ukraine to Russia for many years!!!Because he wasn't the citizen of Ukraine and his passport wasn't registered in special services. I know. All this sounds strange. We ourselves still can not understand how it happened. But imagine his shock. When pastor arrived to Ukraine many years ago, a bit later he made the Ukrainian passport and nationality. And about 15 or 16 years later he casually learns that his passport isn't registered in general and Misha isn't the citizen of Ukraine. In such cases is only deportation!  

Thoughts were confused, he couldn't understand how all this occurred. Why? How it can be? After all, everything was made lawfully! Imagine what huge there was his shock. What would you do? 

When brother Misha rushed to resolve this issue, learned that all people died, which were somehow connected with it and made this problem. Also there is no one witness at all and though any way to solve it fast. It was necessary to do everything at first. Huge money was necessary. In total that we could, it only to beg a face of Lord, to be merciful, protect and to help to solve this problem. Brother Misha, both all our Church and BOM are sure that he is chosen God`s servant, has to be here and continue ministry, instead of deportation.God sent him here!

So months later...

•  Today the director of mission, officially is ukrainian, living more than 15 years in Ukraine illegal. Whether ridiculously it sounds? Hmm.What nationality he was these all years? :)
• He has the registered passport, using it many years illegally, even without suspecting about it, not that without knowing. 
• It happened much faster than he expected.Usually it takes about 2 years to solve this issue.
• Many people even didn't want to hear about it. As passed many years. But our Savior sent those people, who agreed to help and make what was in their forces.
• Brother Misha says that it was very much and very hard and it is almost impossible. But our God is mighty!Is there something an impossible for the Lord? "Behold, I [am] the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?" (Jeremiah 32:27) KJV 
• Moreover,  Jesus gave the chance to him to make and the foreign passport. Our Heavenly Father told him it to make, opened a door and everything made possible.Amazing!

Wondering, how he could go to Russia all these years?..

We believe it happened because of so and so many prayers.Look what many prayers can do!Where human law is impossible, God`s law and His hand is powerful!

Our Director of BOM, brother Misha is VERY grateful for your prayers and support you showed to him during these months.He is very thankful for your wonderful gifts of love have been sent, what helped to make it happen.We join to his thankfulness and praise God for his amazing  blessings from above.We thank God for His protecting under His loving wings.

Sick again

The BOM staff(I and brother Misha) are sick again. We caught some very bad virus.It seems as flu but really not flu.Here a lot of people get sick with this virus and same symptoms.

Some days ago we felt so very and very bad, high fever, headaches etc. Now we feel much better by mercy of the Lord Jesus but still not well yet.We kindly ask you to pray, please, for our quick healing and good health.That with new forces we could continue to serve our Lord Jesus Christ.Thank you very much!God bless you!
