SAVE the LIFE of the PASTOR!!!

   For almost a month, Pastor Misha underwent various medical examinations to confirm the diagnosis of cancer and the presence of metastases.

Thanks a lot to everyone for participating!!! Med.examinations are VERY expensive and we would not be able to do this without your participation! THANK YOU! Thank you a million times for your Christian love and generosity!!!♥♥♥ Your love and care humble our hearts.We praise and glorify God for His mercy to the Director of BOM !!!

Yesterday was the last necessary examination and final consultation with a doctor before the treatment.
We found that Pastor Misha has stage 3 esophageal cancer. :( The tumor is large enough 5.5 cm, and the doctor said to grind all the products on a blender so that food does not irritate the tumor.

 The doctor said that it is urgent to start treatment, otherwise it may be too late ... We asked to wait at least a month to raise the necessary funds. But the doctor said that waiting a month it is a lot! When a week ago or so the Pastor did the PET and CT showed that something was wrong with the lymph nodes on the right chest. But what was our great surprise yesterday that there are NO tumors and metastases in the body! :) Praise God for His mercy !!! Brother Misha is on a strict diet, refused many foods and is trying to do everything to become healthy again with the help of the Lord. 

 

 We need $12,000 more to start the treatment! For us it is a lot of money! But not for the Lord!We will update on Thermometer on the right side of the blog. Since brother Misha will be treated in an Israel clinic in Kiev. Thank God that not in Israel but in Ukraine! Here the treatment is much cheaper!!!

The amount includes 28 radiation and 6 chemotherapy, necessary and additional injections, hospital stay, 1.5 months living in Kiev while treating, transportation, special nutrition, vitamins, repeat examination after treatment and so on. We really hope that this will be enough for next 4-5 months of treatment.

 We plead the Lord to fill all the necessary needs and send funds on time! We cannot start treatment until all the necessary funds are available! Pastor's life is in DANGER! Please, help SAVE his LIFE so that he can serve his Savior with new strength and health! Today, he continues to serve the orphans and the church as much as the our Heavenly Father gives strength. But cancer is an insidious affliction who eats up the body from the inside and our brother in Christ often gets very tired. :(

URGENT PRAYER REQUEST for Pastor and BOM Director!!!

   Today many churches preach about the support of lonely, widows and orphans. Many churches, fulfilling the command of God, have these ministries. And that`s great! But what if the church itself consists of orphans, who needs help and support?
  Our Bible Baptist Church Charity is extraordinary, different and consists of 80% of orphans. We praise the Lord for His mercy and the opportunity to serve the orphaned kids in the local church!We do not have a Sunday, so that there is no new soul or orphan! Praise God!!!

  After the service, we have a little fellowship over a cup of tea and a small snack. Many are undernourished because the life of graduates of orphanages is very hard and salaries are very small, barely enough for food. Most don`t work. Many come to not only eat, but also make new friends or even just chat.

  With absolutely broken hearts, we inform you that Pastor Misha has esophageal cancer... This is shocking and horrible news for BOM staff, church, friends, and many who know brother. This what we never ever expected...

  Last week doctor said to do the surgery immediately, otherwise it may be too late... He said everything is REALLY bad... When bro.Misha eats he cannot swallow the solid food, he began to get very tired the last six months, lose weight, severe chest pain and so on. The doctor said, if you want to live.., you must be in the hospital today immideiatly! 

  Bro.Misha was at hospital a week already. He passed some medical and a biopsy test. He was going to have the surgery this week. But the doctor does not guarantee that this will help... and pastor saw many people who die in several month after surgery. 😢 So, no surgery this week.The government hospitals are not well and medicine is very, very poor in Ukraine. That`s why many people die there...

 You must undergo some medical tests without anesthesia, which is very painful. As pastor Misha swallowed the probe last week. He said that it was very painful. Doctors could not insert the probe into the esophagus and were forced to fill his stomach with air. Brother Misha says that it was like a torture, but he suffered because there was no way out. Other tests were also painful. 

  Also, the attitude of medical workers is not very good. They can humiliate you and not fulfill their duties properly. Medicine in public hospitals is free. But this is only on a "piece of paper". People have to pay big money almost like in private clinics to stay alive. Private clinics have much better care, medicine, attitude of medical workers etc.

But despite all this, Pastor Misha could to witnes about Jesus Christ to 5 men who were in hospital room with him.

For today brother Misha was discharged so that he could be examined in Kiev. We very hope this week he will see other specialist.

Cancer.., this sickness is the first time that we have faced and much to learn and go through... We don’t know at what stage the cancer is... It is also not known whether he will have surgery or some other treatment. If you have experience in treating cancer in a non-traditional way, doctors you know, friends who can give advise, anything, any help.. We will be very thankful!

For today, please pray for peace and calm in the hearts of the BOM team. The next few months will be very difficult for all of us... We need the grace and mercy of God. PLEASE, pray that the Lord will bless with wise doctors, arrange everything and send the necessary funds as everything is not cheap...Pray for pastor Misha, for his healing and for grace of God. Pray that God will have mercy and prolong life to brother Misha! We CAN`T imagine what would happen to the local church and the service of the orphans! We have NO ONE to replace him!!! Only he holds BOM and the local Church!!! He serves hundreds, thousands of orphans and the lonely. He brought hundreds of people to Christ! He is loved by many! Praying for a MIRACLE!!!

Fighting for the life

  THANK YOU!!! Thank you so VERY MUCH for your prayers! God is doing amazing things! Wow! Just wow!

  Yesterday when I felt so helpless, distressed and overwhelmed because of sweet boy A... I had no idea... I did not know what to do... Many thoughts were swirling in the head. Thinking and praying, God what to do? We should... We should to do something... From helplessness I made a decision to contact an one  local Christian organization, thinking maybe they could help??? Maybe together? I don't know...But we must to do something... We know they are amazing mission and doing so much for Ukrainian kids! And it was rightest decision ever!

  These amazing souls leaving everything went to the orphanage at night! Yes, late at night. When it was very cold, dark, driving on rough roads to the darker place... Thanks to them, an ambulance was called and the poor baby was taken to same hospital, where he was discharged home to die... A nurse at the hospital did not want to take the baby A. with emphasis on the fact that it makes no sense because he will still die. ;( How it could be so callous and indifferent? How it could be with such cold and hard heart seeing that a death standing near?.. Ukrainian mentality of many physicians... Sad reality. :( 

  Oh, how a lot of negativity and anger we have seen and heard in relation to children in orphanages. How much violence and injustice. "Why do you come to them? They do not deserve it! Why do you spend money and bring different things? They do not appreciate! They're idiots and nothing good will be in their lives!" Yes. This is what we hear from employees orphanages ... and many others. It shrinks the heart of pain, knowing it is not true. This is not true!Children know when they are loved! They are precious in God's eyes! Every soul is valuable! They appreciate every visit, hug, kiss, every sweet word and just gentle look with a smile. They scream from a joy, when we come there!

 It is so hard, Friends. This is so difficult emotionally. This is what we fight daily. Changing minds and hearts through visits kids in orphanages, hospitals, lonely souls giving them hope and love.

 Administration of the orphanage through the fighing, forced staff to take the baby A. to the hospital. When staff of the hospital learned that had come from the state representative for children's rights also. 3 doctors came running. One children's pediatrician that we could not find a day. But now he had to come running at night! 

Today, by the grace of God the little fellow has not a high fever!He is alive by mercy of Heavenly Father!Praise God!!!

Trust me it was not easy... I can not tell a lot here. But we know it was the Fight! It was real Fight for an one precious life! Not with blood and flesh. But A. life what is value in God`s eyes!

(Ephesians6:12) "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places."

 We are so amazed and in awe knowing for what has happened this night. We are so refreshing to know that little angel is at the hospital and getting care he needs. Personally experienced. I can not say it is a good hospital. But! It is much better to stay there then in the orphanage! We never forget what has happened and what saw yesterday... We never will forget what we felt. We can tell you that Ukrainian Ombudsman for the Rights and Protection of children is involved in current situation. We can give praise and glory to our alive God! Yes, there too much to be done. Too much fights are awaiting...But Bible says (Proverbs31:8) "Open thy mouth for the dumb in the cause of all such as are appointed to destruction. Open thy mouth, judge righteously, and plead the cause of the poor and needy."

Please, keep praying for this precious soul. Pray he will get the help he needs. We will give you an update and to follow A. life.

Olga is at home

Hello everyone! I am very glad to tell you that our sweet girl Olga is at home, she is not at hospital.She is healthy and continues her studies at school.Thanks to your many prayers and support, she started to recover very quickly. She is very grateful for all the prayers and support to assist her.

Praise God for all His mercies and blessings!

Also as you can see on our thermometer, on the right side of the blog, we need only $261 to be fully funded. Awesome!Thank you very much, who is helping to support her studies and in her other daily needs!God bless you!!!

Need prayers for healing

I was going tell you about some awesome blessings we have. But a some precious soul needs our prayers of healing during these days.

Olga student, who because of your wonderful care and support today is getting an education. She is very glad! 

This sweet soul needs $661 more to be fully funded! Our thermometer on the blog, shows that we are so close to our goal $1700! :) Great! Thanks a lot everyone, who is taking part in it. 

But on Tuesday from school by tutor was called an ambulance and she was taken to hospital with high fever. On examination she was diagnosed with purulent tonsillitis . Poor girl . Olechka is very sick right now and looks very sickly. She can not walk alone. When she stands up, she feels dizzy and feels bad. I do not know the reason . Maybe because of the high fever? 

But on the first day, when we came to visit her , we have not talked for a long time . And she decided to show us the wound on her hand opening it, because she already  putted a drip. It was a bit bleeding . She said, "Oh, I wish I did not show you it. I feel sick".  Poor girl suddenly felt bad  and fell to the floor. We have not even had time to react, because we did not think that she might lose consciousness! Oh, my! We're all frightened started to call on the help of nurses . We worried that she did not have a concussion because she hit of the head. Most  sadly that we could not catch her and give help . As we were talking at the door , through a special small window, where you can visit the sick in the isolation ward and communicate. All that we could shout it , knock on the window and call for help. We were very scared. Poor girl . Nurses ran in time and looked  fearfulness also . When we explained to one of the nurses that Olga girl from the orphanage , alone and she needs special support . The nurse started to calm us , that we would not have to worry , because there are all good providers in this ward . And they will take care of this precious girl . It's a little reassured us .

 Every day we buy it necessary that the doctor prescribes medicines and food. The hospitals are not well fed. If you no one will bring additional food, you'll be a long time to recover, or even more sick...

This loving soul needs your prayers now and these next days.Also, please, keep pray we can raise all necessary funds to help this sweetheart with education and getting medication to be healed soon.Thank you so much!

Sick again

The BOM staff(I and brother Misha) are sick again. We caught some very bad virus.It seems as flu but really not flu.Here a lot of people get sick with this virus and same symptoms.

Some days ago we felt so very and very bad, high fever, headaches etc. Now we feel much better by mercy of the Lord Jesus but still not well yet.We kindly ask you to pray, please, for our quick healing and good health.That with new forces we could continue to serve our Lord Jesus Christ.Thank you very much!God bless you!

I do not have pneumonia!

I`m so excited and so thankful to each of you, who prayed for my health!I praise God, He absolutely healed me from this sickness!Many, many and many thanks for your support and prayers!You have been so great encouragement for me but especially in heavy days and I thank God and pray for you.My love to you all. :)

I had days when I felt better and had days when it became worst.During all this period I had peace in heart and I believe because of your prayers. :) And I had days when I felt so bad and I cried as small girl and felt so weak physically and emotionally and pleaded Jesus to be merciful to me. I do not remember that I was sick so long by chills or similar to it.More than 7 weeks, it was long journey of sickness for me.I prayed and wanted to visit dear ones and beloved children and do other things in ministry.But Jesus worked...He tenderly and lovely worked in my sinful heart. He wants that I serve Him with whole my heart, as never before that I burn more for Him.His desire is that I would be much closer to Him and hear His voice.I felt physically so bad that felt myself like in burning furnace as three young men in Bible.It was His work, to melt my heart and make as His heart...Somewhere in the end of my sickness, I felt peacefully and easier much more in my heart than before sickness.It was His work through my sinful flesh.

And He even opened and gave me an answer to my question, about what I had not peace in my heart sometime.I could not understand, it was something strange...When it came back to my heart I thought it was my wrong thinking,it is my flesh.But when I began thinking, I not felt peace in heart again and again.It was so strange and I could not understand why?Even it was and is good, as Bible says.But God opened to me,  WHY I did not feel peace about it and I`m so thankful to Him!God spoke to my heart through a whole year I just could not understand what is that and why...What He wanted to say to me.Now I know!I believe God protected BOM from many troubles in the future!Jesus taught me many times and I learn not do something, when I do not feel peace in heart.Yes, I do mistakes but I learn to walk by His narrow way. Sometimes it`s really heavy when you have to give quick an answer. Jesus allows us fall down and do mistakes that we understand that we can do nothing without Him. And only with Him, trusting and belonging to Him and to walk by narrow way, we are blessed. I love Jesus and so grateful He saved me from hell some years ago and  feeling so greatly blessed to be His child!Jesus is so good!

A little update and the urgent prayer request

Thank you very much for all your prayers and concern about everyone in BOM and all our children, as we call them. :)
The little Edik is at home, he is not at hospital and is doing very well.His loving mother Olechka is healthy finally too.Thank you so much for prayers of both of them!

I`m not healthy yet.I`m still sick but feel much better when I have stopped to take antibiotics.I do not know or it is bad or good...But after changing other kind of antibiotics I felt worst.So, I began herbal treatment and feel much better now.But I need to stay at home in bed, probably week or two.Please, keep pray!Many thanks to all!

Brother Misha does not have bronchitis also, thanks to your prayers and mercy of the Lord Jesus.But he is in VERY BIG trouble right now!We ask you heartily and diligently to pray for him, please.It may affect our local church and orphan`s ministry VERY seriously and for many, many years.As our blog read in different countries I can not say details, as it can bring troubles to private life of brother Misha.Please, pray God help brother Misha, protect him and send necessary means that to solve this trouble.It may takes several months or even the year.Thank you very much for all your love, support, prayers and care!God bless you!!!

Good and not good news

"Heal me, O LORD, and I shall be healed..." Jeremiah17:14(a) This is my prayer request to my Lord and Saviour for everyone, who are sick at these days.

I would love to thank you everyone for your many prayers, sweet comments, lovely emails, encouragements and much and much more.Your Christian love melts my heart.Several precious families even donated and helped with medications not knowing that I needed it.It brought tears to my eyes...Jesus is so good!THANK YOU, everyone for your wonderful support!

I very much don't want to disappoint and grieve you.But I visited a doctor this week and I still have pneumonia...It didn`t gone yet. :( I still have some symptoms. But I glorify God that I have no fever! Only that me disquiets that more than five days, pain appeared at the left. Before it wasn't. I have inflammation only of the right lung. I hope it not terribly and will leave soon. There are days when I feel much better. And there are days when it is very bad. Already the fourth week went as I am ill... I start being tired a little of this condition already.It is so long... I only ask that the Lord allowed to recover quicker and give forces that to return to children.

I have very weak immune system. Accepting antibiotics it kills even more. Can therefore is so long?So, keep pray, please!

And not good news... Brother Misha fell ill with bronchitis also. Please, pray for him also! That the Lord stored from any consequences, as I have pneumonia after bronchitis. And anything.That Lord Jesus will be mercy.
Please, pray Oksana and Nadya other members of BOM will not be sick, God would protect and safekeep them.Thank you!

Good news.Little Edik feels much better.Praise the Lord!If everything will be well, he should to be at home on Monday.Thank you so much, to every single of you, for your prayers!
But not good news.The Olechka, his mother got sick too.Oh, so sad.Edick again can be sick.So, please, pray for Olya, for her health.She still breastfeed of precious Edick.That is not good she is ill. :(

A Little Edik is in hospital

This precious, cute and joyful kid is in hospital now.Little Edik has bronchitis...The babe was taken by ambulance to hospital with high fever and his small body now receives antibiotics. :(

Please, pray for Edik's quick recovery and that the Lord help to grow spiritually to his parents to Olya and  Sasha and to be faithful to the Lord Jesus in everything. Thanks a lot!

For those who doesn't know, with God`s help BOM provides housing to save this family, supports that they weren't on the street.

I have a pneumonia...

So sad... I have fever again and still have a deep terrible coughing.And yes, I have pneumonia.Not good... :(
Please, will you pray for me? I do not want everything stop even for a day. I do not want to be at hospital and do not want to be sick...Oh, yes.No one wants to be sick :)

Prayers still needed

Thank you very much for all your prayers!!!So, sadly but I still feel sick.

Last week we went to one city that to get beautiful and amazing blessings for orphans. I will tell about it more in a next blog post. I hope tomorrow, if God allow.

We left at night, though there were two o'clock in the morning, but was warm. And in the afternoon very much became cold harshly. We sisters very much felt cold. I so awfully felt cold that already wanted nothing and couldn't wait, when we will come back home. 

As this trip took us day and night, on the road back, the fever already rose, all body awfully ached and I was ill.

  So, there were several days. Because of the high fever, all body awfully hurt and I could make nothing. Now the temperature isn't present. But still have headaches and awful cough hurts.

I think that I chilled bronchial tubes. When I cough it seems that everything inside is broken off on thousands pieces, seems as burns and very painfully inside.

Also it seems that chilled any of nerves.I`m not sure yet. Several times something inside pressed and I was scant of breath.It was several times, was to pant very much that I already thought to cause ambulance. But thank God everything has gone.Please, keep pray for my health...

I don't want that there were any consequences in my organism. Because I suffer 18 years already because of this awful coughing in each cold climate.It brings troubles to me.But most of all I can not visit our all treasures.Our dear kiddies whom we love dearly.

We would be so thankful if you pray for health of all our team always. Every day health, force and energy are necessary to us.Thanks a lot!

Because of it I couldn't visit orphans in orphanages with team. So sadly. :(

Exciting day

What an exciting day we had yesterday!We are so rejoicing and praise the Lord Jesus!
 We had special meeting in Kiev with already special friends. :)
 I will tell to you little. But first would like to tell you before the meeting by the way to Kiev we could visit several orphans at hospital.They are sick by bronchitis. :(

We had Bible lesson last Saturday at an orphanage where  from are these sweet kiddies.I will tell you and will post pictures later about lesson.So,some kids were sick and they coughed much, some could not be on Bible lesson and several of them are in hospital.We decided to visit those who are at hospital.

When we came in to their ward or hospital room, we were shocked.Because there are nothing except several empty bed tables and beds.The bed`s clothes are such yellow and wear from reusable and washings that looks awfully and is already unsuitable for use.There are nothing for kiddies to play, games, toys, books or anything that help them to be busy while they there.On walls is nothing hanging, only dyed by paint many years ago and it is need to renew already.

 Hmm.I thought or a person can quickly recover, being in this hospital room only looking all the day at these walls and lying in awful bed`s clothes?Only being there and seeing this condition of hospital room you can get sick more... :(
Awful not because medical staff or workers do nothing for a condition of hospital room. Because the hospital has no enough finances that care about of patients and to help them to recover quickly.

So, when we went into the room oh how kids were happy and surprised!Oh, how they were excited much!

God has blessed and we could bring special gift to them fruits, bun and drinking yoghurt.As orphans never ate yoghurt they asked what is that?You may inquire that these kiddies never ate yoghurt?Yes, it truth, they NEVER ate it!And they were amazed and soooo happy to get it, thanks God!

 We praise God He sent us blessing gift in time and we could to bless these poor children!

Some orphans are sick in orphanages.It is cold here and children catch cold.Please, will you pray for their health and quickly recovering?Thank you!

After spending time and prayer with these precious we went to have another meeting.

 Well, we have a family who was a huge blessing in our ministry, who blessed many times poor orphans here.Now they adopt 2 nice girls with Down syndrome.We knew they will go to Ukraine and we wanted to give our special personal thanks and give them our hugs. What an amazing, sweet and lovely is family Kimble!What a blessed family with such sweet God`s spirit!

 What a surprise was for us to meet one more beautiful family who adopt 2 precious girls too by Reece`s Rainbow also, the organization that helps families to adopt children with Down Syndrome or other special needs.The family Eubanks are so sweet and kind!With such inspired and sweet spirit! Please, follow their blog, in their journey of adopting.Support them by your prayers, encouragements and even donations, as they need.

 What a blessing to know those people who chose God`s way, obeying him and follow Christ.What a blessing we had speaking about orphans, christianity and many other.We had such blessed and amazing day!Even God sent us nice and sunny weather at this day.Now here it is cloudy, windy and cold.

 We were able to share a meal together, traditional Ukrainina food. :)What an amazing gift of Christian fellowship God blessed us! We had such sweet and peaceful feeling of being with them.It seemed as we knew them for a long time. :)

 And we could to see little a beautiful places of famous city of Ukraine.

 We are so and soooo exciting God blessed we could to see our special friends, to make new ones and had such blessed Christian fellowship!We came back to home late but we were so happy and blessed and praise the Lord for His mercy, many blessings and wonderful day!

One more sad news...

Well.We can not go tomorrow to orphanage which we were going, because almost all members of team got sick. Each one got sick almost for one day! Everyone has a fever, headache, running nose, sore throat etc. Maybe it is some virus? We feel not good...and we can not visit kids in this condition. It is so sad  especially you know they wait for you all time...
Today is not good day for us... :( We have broken van, we necessary finance. We are sick we necessary finance...Please, pray for us.Pray for our team...

We can not come

We can not come and visit orphans tomorrow in P. where are girls with Down`s syndrome.We have found many of them are sick and a quarantine is there.The quarantine will finish just in 2 weeks. :(
Also we can not go to other orphanage where are boys with Down`s syndrome for some reason.Maybe next week.
Please, pray for sick children.Thank you!

Very sadly

     It is very sadly but we could not visit orphans today at one orphanage because  many of them are sick.Please pray for them.
    Today in the street it is cold -5 -7 C` (-20.5 -21.6 F`) also snow. Tomorrow we are going to go to the next orphanage.Hope all children  are healthy and we can conduct the Bible lesson with them and a meeting with older children.

Orphans at hospital

       Today we have visited children of orphans in hospital K. We ask about it God that has given the chance to see again these kiddies. We visited them last Friday as spoke about it earlier.
      There  were 14 children.Children having seen us from a hospital window, waved to us hands before we haven't entered yet into a building. They already cheerfully met us, when we have entered into hospital separation. We have given them small presents, fruit, sweets, shampoo, tooth-brushes and tooth-paste as at them wasn't. Certainly they very much rejoiced! As we have given them small books, stories about Jesus Christ.
     One older boy the  of 15 years, has run away from hospital without clothes, through a window for an hour before our arrival. Has run away without clothes though in the street it is very cold also a frost. Couple of days ago one more boy has run away from hospital too. It is finite medical workers worried and have informed on it to the director of a orphanage. In hospital to children it is very boring, there are no games, toys, books, anybody doesn't visit them. When we have asked them, than you are engaged throughout day. Children have answered, nothing, simply we sit on a bed. Not surprisingly that children escape. But children on are older want  freedom. Often escape from orphanage too.
   We have arrived just in time because 5 children discharged from hospital. Therefore we had a possibility to take away them and to deliver in their orphanage. At this time when wrote out these children, 2 small girls have burst into tears. They spoke we want to want home too. The house they name the orphanage. Some times we had to calm and console, tell them that they soon will at "home' too.
   We have noticed that these children have no mittens, at some aren't present kerchief.Their jackets are not winter, but autumn. Trousers at boys very thin, cold. Their socks not the winter and thin.
Not surprisingly that children often are ill. Please, can you help to  these children buy good and warm clothes?
Please, pray for these children, after all they are necessary to nobody, lonely and are thrown...

Busy day with the orphans

We were so happy to visit the orphans on Friday in K. orphanage. We spent wonderful time with the children! We taught a Bible lesson about Genesis 13 where Lot and Abraham separated and Lot chose to settle in the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah. We played different games, sang, and did a craft with the children. At the end of the lesson, everyone got a small reward, a balloon.

It was a big blessing for us when the director of the orphanage invited us to tea in his office. We spoke with him about different problems the orphans face and how to help them, etc. We had the opportunity to witness to him about Jesus Christ! He willing to listen and very open to hearing the Word of God. We were so glad!

    In this game, was written something on each balloon that made children happy, such as bicycles, games, traveling to the sea, candies, etc. There was one balloon that had the name of Jesus written on it. The children had to make the choice of whether to gather all of the worldly things that made them happy, or choose the one balloon that represented Jesus. The children learned to make the right choice in life, which is Jesus.

 Here we played a game. The children selected who they wanted to be, Lot or Abraham. If the child took a sweet, it meant they were like Lot and they went to the earth that was pleasant to his eyes. The next child was Abraham and did not have a choice, but had to go to the opposite side.

The lesson of the game was to teach the children to make correct choices in life and learn to be compliant, not to quarrel and fight among themselves, but to be generous and kind like Abraham.

Before the children came in for the lesson, we hid the Bible verse “If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.” Romans 12:18
The class divided into 2 groups. The 2 groups competed to see who could find the verse first.

At the end of the lesson the children did a craft about Lot and Abraham, where they wrote the Bible verse they learned during the lesson.

   Unfortunately not all of the children could come to the Bible lesson. Many children are sick in the sick room of the orphanage and also in the local hospital. We had the opportunity to visit these children and bring them small gifts. We wish we could give them more, but we do not have that option right now. The children were so glad! We heard them say things like, “Wow, I have an orange! Wow! I have this!”

Bible says: "Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep." 

Romans 12:15

  We were very glad when we found out we could visit them. We risked our health by going to the hospital, since the children have high temperatures, cough, colds, etc., but we love them very much and we couldn’t pass by the hospital without visiting them.
   From communicating with the children in the hospital, we learned that many of them don’t have toothpaste or a toothbrushes. There is no shampoo or soap. No games to keep them entertained and free from boredom. Tomorrow, if God allows, we want to visit them again.

   The director of the orphanage asked us to help get the children vitamins so they will be able to stay healthy, since they are often ill. We would like to bring the children lots of vitamins and medicines! At this time, we can only pray and ask the Lord to help the orphans…
We are a bit tired, but happy we came back by evening. We were glad to spend the whole day with the orphans!
