Arrived to Ukraine to be baptized?

 Have you ever had to be a witness? Have you ever seen it? Have you ever heard, when American or from other country born-again Christian came in another country to be baptized? Well. It happened with us and in our local baptist church in Ukraine at first time. :)

We had not many baptized souls this year, only two. Yana, a precious and very sweet young lady, who is a Christian and wanted to obey of God`s commandment, to be baptized. "The like figure whereunto [even] baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ." (1Peter 3:21)KJV

She is a treasure, who was abandoned by parents in early childhood, spent all her life in baby house and orphanages. Today she is child of God and she has a Heavenly Father, who loves her so much!Yana was so happy and  thrilled at this special day of her life.We are SO happy for her!!!Praise God for this wonderful blessing!!!!

And other very special blessing for us. Andrew, who supports BOM, came here from USA for 6 weeks and wished to be baptised in Ukraine. What?! When brother Misha, our pastor announced it, everyone was pleasantly surprised. Everyone could not believed for a some time. :) But we were so happy and it blown away our mind.Wow!

This young guy had no possibility to do it in his country. Our pastor Misha was happy to baptize him. :)

God miraculously blessed this special day for all of us. He blessed with a nice and sunshine weather, as we have rainy days here during several weeks already.So, we had a wonderful church ministry near beautiful river.

Yesterday Andrew went home. It was so hard to say goodbye to him... Everybody hardly kept tears. We had sooooo many blessed days visiting orphans, lonely souls and beautiful places of Ukraine. We enjoyed fellowship and had lots of fun. God amazingly blessed his presence in Ukraine!Spent time with this young guy was awesome!

Andrew said, when he visited last summer he was a guest and a new friend, now he feels like a close friend and that we all (with church)are family to him. It was hard to hear in prayer when he prayed, "God please, help me come back my home in Ukraine". But. He is gonna come back in the end of this year, in winter!Yay! If the Lord will allow, we will meet in 6 months again! Yes, his heart is here, in fairytale country as he says :) So excited of his coming again.

We all love how he looks in Ukrainian traditional vyshyvanka :) 

By the way many people ask about poppies. These are wild poppies in the field. We have lots of fields like this one. No one planted them :) God is a great gardener.The best we found is here, where I blogged before.

If you still hesitate or come to Ukraine...and spend time with members of BOM visiting orphans and lonely souls, graduating orphans, beautiful places of Ukraine. You are welcome! You never will be the same and come back home with another heart. Yes, it is absolutely safe now to be in center and west of Ukraine, despite terrible war we have now, except east of Ukraine. At least for today... Just let us know and we will be just happy to help you! :)

A dear our friend and Maidan in Kiev

Surprise! We have a visitor from US in Ukraine! On Tuesday we met in airport our dear and old friend Andrew, who visited our country last summer. It is such a wonderful blessing to meet old friends!He will spend 6 weeks helping BOM. Yay! We are so excited!!!!

At the entrance to different cities, not only Kiev. You can see the activists, who are guarding entrance to the city, together with the police and guns in their hands. So, we felt safety :)

After a delicious lunch at the Ukrainian cafe, we decided to go and see the Maidan in Kiev.

It was hard to see these many places knowing that so many people died there. This is the sad Ukrainian story. It is unbelievable what happened there! I still can not believe, watching it only on networks. You have to watch this all your own eyes.You still can smell the smoke there. It would take some hours to see everything.Many people, activists who were during Maidan say that there over 800 people died. Some say even more then 1500. No one knows exactly number. But not hundred or over hundred, it is exactly.

Please, pray for Ukraine. Especially in these heavy days, what is going on south and east of Ukraine. Our hearts absolutely are broken and heavy. We need mercy of the Lord Jesus.Ukraine needs God.Thank you very much!!!

A little bit about everything

A very short update. We continue to serve our Heavenly Father, visiting lonely souls and orphans in orphanages.

Most meetings we have with graduates.

With those, who will start to live independent life in several months...

 Most of the kids are scared and  afraid to leave orphanages .

Please, remember them in your prayers.

Finally we have prepared a main program to go to orphanages. Tell kids a Bible story about Birth of Jesus and bring gifts.It takes us longer then we planed. But anyway we are very excited! :)

If anyone has a chance to help us with acrylic paint, ANY color and ANY number. We would be very grateful!!!!!! As we often need it. Thanks.

We were so glad to have packed these special gifts to our dear teens and young adults.

Over 240 orphans will receive these so needed personal care items. The socks deodorant, soap, shampoo, shower gel and chocolate :)

 THANK YOU so much to everybody, who took part in this awesome project!!! You are such an amazing blessing to many Ukrainian kids! Many thanks for your sending parcels, what helped and became such great blessing also! ♥

PLEASE, continue to pray for Ukraine!!! Troops finally left Maidan at the capital. It seems there became more quiet... But the situation is still VERY tense here. Everyday something happens.So many different things is going on! But the most. Please pray that Ukraine would not split and for our government. We love our beautiful country and our people, but the situation more and more hard... Our hearts are saddened and it hurts very much. :(

Hello dear Followers and Friends!

I would like to apologize that lately I am not very good in update and make you wait for any news.Thanks for patience and faithfulness.We appreciate it very much!

Having shared about amazing visits of all graduates we had recently, I simply forgot to tell you about one more experience we had.There were too many pictures and events and I wanted to tell you about everything and forgot about it.But when I pressed "publish" the post, just in moment I remembered about one more thing.But it was too late so I decided to tell you in next blog post. :)

So, when we visited orphanages and had meeting with graduated orphans, God blessed us with new friends, who had possibility to meet our precious kids also in an one orphanage and shared about God`s love with them.

 All kids wanted to know, why Kim came to Ukraine from America, what she is doing here etc.They LOVE guests!This young lady with all her sweet family are going to move to Ukraine soon and serve to orphans with special needs.How exciting!Olga is a lovely Christian as well.

All teenagers loved our new friends and we had great fellowship with them.

Then we had dinner at cafe and chating about our dreams and many other things.It was great day to meet this sweet follower of Christ in person with a big heart to orphaned children, who follows our blog during  a year already :) Wow!It is SO exciting to meet those, who "knew" you already.

It was fun and exciting day with our new friends!

I was going to update about our ministry here in Ukraine.But "accidentally" came to this link and watch this video news.Click here for FoxNews.It breaks my heart.We've never met and we do not know personally this family but my heart aches to hear of their loss small beautiful daughter.This young couple, whom I have never met, were missionaries to Cuba.They had a car accident yesterday.
Oh, how my heart breaks for this family!  There simply are no words to describe it.

Please, pray for this family missionary and cover in many prayers.Please, pray  they feel God`s presence and may He bring them peace and comfort in this difficult time.Our church is lifting them up in prayer and we ask you to do the same.They need our love and prayers like never before.
