He is free...

We are grieving these days with our brother in Christ Misha, who has lost his brother few days ago... 

Andriy was homeless often and he got sick with TB a while ago. Few days ago his brother Misha called us and asked to pray for Andriy because he was dying... He was so very bad. We were horrified to hear this news because we knew this young guy and we know how awful this sickness. How many lives it took away... It was heartbreaking to see how Misha suffered, worry and feel about his brother. He did the best he could.
Both boys are orphans, there are no parents, no relatives, not even friends. Sadly, we don`t have Andriy`s photo. His brother is working, but these funds were not enough to feed both and pay rent for housing.

Andriy could no longer get out of bed for several days, he coughed with blood, had very low blood pressure, he was very pale and very skinny. He was very sick with an open form of TB... Misha called an ambulance 4 times. All refused to take the young guy to the hospital, saying that there was no point because he was dying, he had a few days or hours left... Can you imagine what felt and think both guys at that moment??? Alone, without support and abandoned to the mercy of fate... Is this fair?
The next day poor guy was finally taken to the hospital. Doctors did X-ray, all the necessary tests. But unfortunately he passed away the next day... :(((

BOM helped with funds to help Misha take his brother to the last path. Andrei lived on so much poverty that there was not even shoes to bury him ... 

Some years ago, when Andrew came to church, he looked and was dressed awfully. Pastor Misha was so sad and could not look at him. He took off his shoes and gave it to Andrei. It was just one and last pair of shoes that our pastor had. Later when we met Andrew he said. I was so ashamed, I felt terrible, but no one helped me, only you pastor took off your shoes and gave it to me. And Andrew started to cry... It touched our hearts and gave a good lesson. Sometimes we do not see the result at once, but God works in the hearts of people.

We feel heartbreaking and very sad these days... How many orphans did not live up to 30 years old? BOM knows not one situation that orphans do not live to this age dying completely alone ...

But at same time we celebrate victory in Jesus! We are so grateful to everyone, who prayed for Andrew these days. We published early on facebook. But God had another plan. Andriy is FREE! He no longer feels pain, he has no tears, he is not alone, but with his Lord and Savior! The day before his death, he received Jesus Christ as his Savior! Praise God!!!Now he rests in the Heaven with his Heavenly Father and is comforted under His wing of love. Now Andriy enjoys the presence of God and everything heartbreaking and terrifying is behind.

We are so thankful to everyone, who blessed the young guy Misha to help him bury his brother showing him love and console in these heavy days... We are so thankful for sweet notes of love you left for Misha on facebook. He saw how many people around the world praying for him and he is NOT alone! He cried when we read notes... He said, it is so important for him at these difficult time... We try do not leave Misha alone and take him everywhere it is possible...Thank you very much for all your Christian love and care!

What a beautiful day!

Suuuuuper excited! We have such a wonderful blessing! These 3 beautiful young ladies have been baptized few days ago! We are sooo happy for Stella, Lena and Zhenya they have desire follow Jesus! Can be a better blessing, when young souls want to praise Jesus in their lives and live a Christian life?! How awesome! 

(For those, who don`t know yet, Lena and Zhenya accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour recently.)

We had sermon, singing on the river. It was wonderful time! It was such a blessing when unbelievers could hear the Gospel as well!

Then young people have been baptized :)

This is a very special event in our church! So, we congratulated young ladies with flowers...

God provided just a perfect weather and such beautiful day!We rejoice and so happy our local Baptist church is growing! To God be the glory!

Thanksgiving at church

Yesterday we had a Thanksgiving at our local Bible Baptist Church Charity. It was such a beautiful, sweet and very lovely time. :)

The huge basket with fruits and vegetables symbolises a huge and lots of, lots of wonderful blessings we had during the year. Praise God for all his great mercy and beautiful gifts!

It was so wonderful to see new people who never been at church and hear the Gospel.

Preach, songs, testimonies of young adults. What God did and still doing in their lives.  It was so great, encouraging and heartwarming hear their testimonies! God is so good!!!

After church service we had Supper of love, where we had a fellowship and food. So, everyone was happy to leave church full with joy in heart and with full belly :)

We praise and thank God for so many and huge blessings we have! Jesus especially blessed our church and BOM this year!His love is great, astonish and amazing! Our thanks and gratefulness never will be enough...Our hearts are humbled, we are overwhelmed...

Our swallow has a nest!

Oh, my!We are sooo super busy now! Whew!  That I absolutely don't have time to do a blog posts and answer your emails. I greatly apologize.  We don`t have time to eat, rest, do a laundry, clean at homes, take shower and we sleep only few hours a day. Yes, we all got tired physically VERY much... Hopefully, we will have not so busy days soon. :) I have soooo much to share with you all and pretty exciting what God is doing in BOM!

Here I would love to tell you how awesome our God!

Some time ago we asked you fervently pray for the great need Nadya, member of BOM had.We asked you pray with us that God will do something in her life and her daughter as they both suffered with housing a lot...

Do you know what?! God answered your prayers the very NEXT day!!! Awesome! Thank you so much everyone who sent generous donations help Nadya with apartment!Such unexpected beautiful blessing! At least little more half of the year she can live and don`t worry every month where take money pay for rented her lovely nest. She cried, praised and glorified God.What an amazing God's goodness and grace to His children!

THANK YOU very much! Our sweet swallow is so greatly thankful and humbled!

That is not all. Vlada becomes a teenager and for years she dreamed and prayed to have her own room. It seems impossible... But NOT for our great and awesome God! It's unbelievable and fantastic! But God has provided an apartment for Nadya and Vlada with 2 rooms! Can you believe it? Wow!It`s incredible but renting of this apartment costs the same price as for a one room!Absolutely miracle!

It is such amazing blessing in this sweet family! We are so happy Vlada has her own room and they both with her mommy don`t need worry at least for the half of  year, where they will live next month.

Look what your prayers can do! How encouraging!Jesus is SO good!!!!!

Heartbreaking news...

I have so much to share with you but not now...Our hearts are broken...

Our brother Misha and director of BOM learned that few hours ago died his father. Thanks to God he lived about 2,5 years more after his sickness with heart. But as every human his time came today...

Please, pray God console and comfort his heart and send needed funds for funeral. We all are very sad, feeling pain and cry for the loss and sorrow of our Pastor...

What a GREAT day!

Oh, my!What an AMAZING and GREAT day we had today!!!! Do you know why? Because 2 young fellows, our young brothers in Christ, Sasha and Vadim have been baptized!Praise God!!!!!

We had a second baptizing this summer!What a great joy!

God miraculously blessed with such a beautiful and sunny weather! We did not feel autumn today but summer weather. Such a blessing!

The water is cold already but our young brothers were pretty excited to be baptized! They both could not wait this special day and were soooo happy!

On the picture, all 4 young men are former orphans. From the right to the left. The first and 4th young guy are friends of Sasha and Vadim.

We are so so happy for Sasha and Vadim that these young guys accepted Jesus Christ and want follow Him and to be true Christians! What an awesome blessing! Can be something better when the young people want follow Jesus?!

BOM supports young adults after they leave orphanages. An one of trade schools we visit regularly with Biblical teaching and fellowship. This February we had an incredible meeting with young people, where 6 young adults asked Jesus saved them. One of these young souls was Sasha, who graduated the trade school this year and joined our Bible Baptist Church! (He is on the last picture and at another in black jacket with red sweater). How AWESOME!

And who would have thought it would happen so quickly?It's such absolutely unexpected great blessing for us!

Your kindness, gentle care and tender love not only saved precious baby Elijah from baby house but has led his father to Christ, who was baptized today!

Vadim is very happy to be a Christian father, leads his family and follow Jesus Christ.How AMAZING!

Beautiful young ladies, Marina and Oksana who graduated orphanage this year and  joined to church as well.

A nest for swallow

Bible says: "Yea, the sparrow hath found an house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, [even] thine altars, O LORD of hosts, my King, and my God" (Psalm 84:3)

Our member of BOM team Nadya reminds me the swallow. She flies as swallow! She is fast in doing something or organizing. But a swallow in Scripture "has found a nest for herself". But our "swallow" can not find a housing for herself for a MONTH already...

The problem is that Nadya moved out every year during 9 years. Each time our "swallow" finds a housing and an owner decided to sell apartment or has another reason why Nadya forced to move out. You can imagine how it`is stressful for her and her daughter! Also Nadya lives by faith as each month she does not know where take funds pay for housing. That is interesting what is doing God in Christian lives. BOM team helps homeless young adults with housing at same time having same trouble.

Nadya lives on rented apartment. A month ago she had to move out. Today is the last day and owner says she can not wait any more.Students came to study to Institutions and rent apartments. Also many refugees fled from East of Ukraine and live on rented apartments too. It is harder find a housing now.

Also harder find a housing for Nadya because she tries to find cheap nest for her and her daughter. Every months she pays 1600 hryvnia($123). Now apartments cost 2000 hryvnia($153) with one room. What is impossible for our swallow. In winter will be more expensive.

Every month God makes a miracle sending these funds! As BOM team does not receive monthly salary or payment but lives by faith God will provide a daily bread. During 9 years God never left Nadya but always provides necessary funds! It is a REAL miracle!!!! As He promised take care of His children. God is good and He is faithful even we are not faithful.

"Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved". (Psalm 55:22)

So, we ask you as Church of Christ pray for Nadya`s situation. Please, pray God will provide a lovely nest for Nadya and her daughter, cheaper or provide necessary funds that Nadya would not worry every months, where take money for housing.God knows what is the best. Nadya trusts Her Saviour with all her heart and she knows He will do the best in her life.She will be VERY thankful and humbled for your prayer support! She and her daughter Vlada needs a real miracle these days!It is urgent need!Thank you!

(Psalm145:18) The LORD [is] nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth. He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them.  

Lots of experiences for a day and wonderful blessing

Yesterday in the evening an one young orphaned guy called me.
-How are you? I asked.
-Very bad.
-Something happened?
-No. I just do not want to live anymore and want commit suicide.With sureness said guy.
-Does anyone know about your decision? with great concern I asked again.
 -No. Only you.
I read as many as could Bible verses and said that is not good idea, Jesus loves him, he is not alone. God has a perfect plan for his life. In my head always was place of scripture (Jeremiah 29:11) "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end". 

After phone conversation I understood we must to do something and immediately!We were greatly concerned and felt helpless.We prayed all church and thank you very much all our friends who prayed for this guy.

So, went to him.At 9.30PM we all BOM team were speaking already with this guy trying comfort him and find out the reason. It was terrible that NO ONE did not know about his decision, no friends, no caretakers of orphanage. He is not talkative and never share his thoughts and feelings with anyone.This kid is quiet and never got in troubles. 

But depressions does not leave him, feeling alone, fear. He graduated orphanage this year and tomorrow will start independent life.He has absolutely nobody to support and help him during first time of his "adult" life!I can only imagine what felt this poor boy.

After private conversation we decided take him and his siblings orphanage out, make if only a little brightly and rainbow-tinted  their day.

So, next day, today Sasha and his siblings Grisha and Valya spent all day with us.Do you remember our "flower girl"?Yes, it was Sasha, her brother, such a young guy, who in a week will turn 19 years old. It is a heartbreaking and scary. It`s a very sad reality...

Kids were so glad to be out orphanage!At the beginning we dressed them. Can you believe all clothes you see on them it`s clothes of their friends? Their own they had only underwear. Poor kids. Thank you who sends clothes. It was so helpful!

Sneakers and sandals Valya had, they took borrow at their friends too.In the morning was VERY cold and rainy today!Brr!Can you imagine this beautiful girl in rainy cold day +12С( 53.6 F) in sandals?When Valya had put on sneakers. Oh, it is so warm, she said.She especially was happy having shoes.

But have not found shoes for Grisha. So, we went to bazar  buy something for him and few more things for Sasha and Valyusha.

We learned that Sasha does not have autumn and winter jacket. We bought today a wind jacket. We plan help him to get some more few clothes, warm sweater, autumn and winter coat, winter boots. If you have a desire to help this poor guy. You are very welcome! Just leave a note sending gift of love for clothes for Sasha. Thank you!

Then all got hungry. We wanted take them to McDonalds as they never been there. But today was so many people!So, we went to a cafe, as everyone was very hungry.
They get used to eat same food at orphanage always. So, they started to buy much food all kinds. I think they just wanted to try something new and bought lots of food :) Poor kids.

Then we went to a entertainment center.They first time ever went on the escalator. Valyusha all the time was afraid. Oh, I'm going to fall down. Oh, how it's not fall down. ;)

We showed them a pet store. They have been amazed to see lots of different animals.

Lots of different beautiful fish, snake, spider, chameleon, turtles and many more

 The most funny. Valya said, I never thought you can buy a cat! Funny girl. Well. In Ukraine you can see lots of running cats and dogs on street, everywhere. You can pick up any, if it does not have owner of course. Many cats and dogs are in orphanages and children feed them. Valya was greatly surprised, why you need go to a store and buy cat, if there on streets lots of free of charge :)

But the most precious teens LOVED a big supermarket! Honestly, we were surprised.
Wow!It is huge! You can buy so many food?!they said amazingly. :)))
So, we showed and taught them how to buy food, what choose etc.

 For some food you need use the weight. We showed and taught how to use it.

 Then was a practice. They took few bananas.

Valya used weight. She was a good student. Sweetheart learned fast and was so excited! :)

"Oh, that's a lot of chocolate! I never seen so many chocolate!" They were blown away! :)
For a long time they could not choose which chocolate they wish.Sweet kids.

When we walked this precious girl was so greatly impressed and asked. Do the store has ice-cream? When I will graduate orphanage(next year), I will come here to buy ice-cream.

Oh, darling you do not need wait a year to buy ice-cream!They were sooooo happy to get some! ;)

Grisha got lost seeing lots of ice-cream, was so impressed that could not choose. Precious kid.

Then they learned how pay for food at cashdesk. "Now I know how to do lots of things in a store, said Sasha. I do not afraid go a store any more." He was so happy!

So, these sweet kids have been AMAZED to be at store! Trust me. Just go to a store buy something it was something very special for them all. They always were greatly impressed by something or overjoyed.

I'm typing teary. Only a little thing can make happy an orphan. Just a simple thing can bring such a great joy to a precious soul, who deprived and has absolutely nothing own. Only something little what for us is ordinary and daily...

Spending all day with them we talked about Jesus answering their questions. When we were ready said good-bye, Sasha said. "I want to be with Jesus in the Heaven". Wow! Amazing! So, two brothers, Sasha and Grisha asked Jesus save them and change their lives. Oh, my!Can be a better blessing?! We were thrilled glorified and magnified God for such unexpected awesome blessing!

Yesterday we did not know how to help him, only comforted through the Bible and pray.Yesterday Sasha did not want to live but today he has a future!Oh, my! I still can not believe!

Please, remember him in your prayers. On Saturday he will go to a trade school, where is lots of criminal, alcohol, drugs. We worry about him. Pray God keep him away from evil and sin. Pray for all 3 kids  they grow spiritually, will come to know God more and He will become so real to them and they become new creations in Him. Pray for them as they have lots of emotional issues.Thank you!Thank you so much for your prayers and support!God is good!!!!
