God is sooo good!

God is so good, mercy, great and wonderful!He blessed us  much! We had so amazing day today! We could to visit orphanage. There are 90 mental retarded boys who has  different profound mental retardation and Down syndrome.Their age is 5 -35 years old. Most of them can not read, write, do not know numbers.Some of them even can not speak well or do not speak generally. It is heartbreaking and sad.But we have what we have... 

But they all so precious, so sweet, cute and adorable!And in same time they are so lonely... When we just came to the orphanage they had run to us and many children were waiting us in big hall where we had to have a meeting with them.Before our coming we asked administration of orphanage can we come? So, children already knew and waited for us!It was so blessing to see them all waiting us!

We had an amazing meeting with children! Yes, there boys age of 5-35 but call them all children.We had puppet show.A small kids love it very much and even elder boys too!

After that we had a Bible story (Daniel 3) about 3 young men who did not worship a image and were cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace. We had used some decoration of fiery furnace and golden image what we made ourselves.Children love it much! We try to do the best we can that children remember a Bible story for a long time.

It was funny much for them when we chose 3 boys they played 3 young men and 4th boy was a king.The Bible story they listen heedfully and even an employers of orphanage.There 90  kids and employers were in hall.

After that we learned with them a song, played different games, we sang a song and Sasha preached a little bit to employers of orphanage.

The one game was they had to find out a Bible verse which was hidden under paper bricks.The Bible verse was "Fear thou not; for I [am] with thee: be not dismayed; for I [am] thy God". Isaiah 41:10 We divided 10 kids to 2 team.
On 2 big sheets of paper was written Bible verse.Each word of the verse was hidden under paper bricks.Each team had to open bricks on the desk compete between themselves who will win, who will be the first.As children love to run and play.They were running with pleasure!After we learned with them this verse.

The next game was.We inflated balloons and had hidden inside of them questions about Bible story which they had listened before (about 3 young men). Children had to burst a balloon and give answer to question.As a children are mental retarded and of course we helped some of them to answer. They were so happy to burst balloons!It was so fun!They laughed and enjoy!

In the end of meeting we could to give them clothes.Yes, clothes!Our God is so good and amazing! He blessed and we could to buy a new t-shirts, undershirts  and 2 pair of socks to each boy! Dear Friends and Readers you have to see their faces how they were glad! When we told and showed  to them what we brought.We heard WOW!

Children were very glad to get a new clothes! They smiled, running and showed to their friends or employers what they have. We are very happy God blessed and we could to help kids.

We asked the Lord to help kids in their needs and we are very happy He answered!How is good and an amazing our Lord Jesus!We are very glad we could to help if a little bit these special kids!

 We are very glad and happy to see happy orphans!

A new little blessing

We have a new little blessing! God blessed and we could to buy a new colored pencils.We are very glad!Because we asked the Lord to help us and it was problem fo us. We have several orphanages where we have Bible lessons each week.Children LOVE very much to make crafts, draw or something like it.Each orphanage is different and sometimes we have more than 45 kids in one lesson. We have just 10-12 boxes of colored pencils.We use them more than 4 years, some pencils have lost, some is not good, some boxes do not have all colors. Sometimes children ask us: "Can you please, give me a red color or grey?" We answer, "No honey, we do not have this color.May be you will change for other color?"

Or we have but 5 pencils of one color for 45 kids.

But most of all was a problem when 10-12 boxes of pencils are for 45 children.Yes, we know it is not so big trouble!

But we are glad and very much glad!We are very much happy we could to buy them in metal boxes.Why? Because we travel a lot of by different transport and we take it with ourself all time. If even pencils would be in paper boxes.It is not problem! But in several weeks paper boxes would be broken. 

If someone used ukrainian buses anywhen has to remember it. Especially buses which goes to villages.For those who do know we think have to tell.There a lot of people who go with many  big bags who push you, no place where to sit or sometimes even where to stand. We got used to it. It is not problem. But sometimes when you take something with you it can be broken, deform or lose it. The buses so full of people. We call it like "fish in preserves" or "tinned food".Sometimes it is really funny and adventure! :)
So, our stuff and pencils were pushed a million times.

We have to think how to use what we have during long time and that it will be effective and do not waste money.
We could to buy 20 new boxes of colored pencils! We are very glad and thankful to the Lord!

We are very glad children can enjoy it and do not have to wait for color pencil they would like to use.We are very glad God answered our prayers and use you Friends for His Glory!

A little blessing!

Well.We would like to share our little blessing what we have.We have a crafts stuff for our kids!God sent us a little colored pencils, wood sticks, glue, wiggle eyes and other stuff.

Are we glad? Yes!
Are we thankful to the lord? Yes!
Will it help us what we have? Yes!
Will children be happy of it? Yes!
Do we need more craft`s stuff? Yes!
Do we need colored pencils, glue, wood sticks etc? Yes!

We have about 130 kids each week  who LOVE to make crafts!

We enjoy and so exciting this little blessing what God provided! We believe He will bless more some day!
Why we believe?We have piece, joy and faith in our hearts!And we thankful to the Lord for it! :)

It is a blessing to see them again!

How is amazing our the Lord Jesus! God blessed and we were able to see orphans in N. B. orphanage. We had amazing time!
In the beginning we congratulated girls with Birthdays.

 How they were happy when they have got Birthdays gifts!One girl said:" I will remember you forever." They all time wait we will present them any gifts or toys.Their eyes shine and they smile.
Nobody congratulate them with Birthday.You know how is important day of Birthday for any child.

This time we talked about Abraham, God`s promises to him and about his son Isaac.
They liked to help us say to them Bible story together with us.They placed stars on flannel and did try to count grains of sand as like Lord promised to Abraham to bless him.

 We explained to them we can count stars on flannel.But the stars that are on the heaven we can not account.Also as like we can not count the grains of sand the Lord promised to bless Abraham.
As these girls have special needs, mental affection, we hope it will help them remember better this story.

Especially girls liked to play a game to swaddle the child. We did not have dolls so, we took a puppets and used it.Any way they were glad much to play it.We have found they do know even how to play with dolls! It is surprise and is not surprise in same time. They all never had a doll! They do not know how to play with it! We are sure younger girls would like to have dolls.We are not able to present to them it.Can you please, help in it?
 If they are happy to get a one little candy can you imagine how they would be happy to get a doll?

We have played some more difference games.Also in the end of lesson we have made crafts. All children love it very much!

We were surprised much at this time.A one girl she did not understand how to use a color pencil.We showed to her how to color, how to use and etc.She all time take it to mouth and bite it or eat it.We said and showed her: "no, no, you can not do it"! We showed her again and again how to use a pencil.But she start to eat it again.We thought it was no sense. It is need time to teach and train her maybe every day.We had not much time to be with her because other 44 kids wait for you.Our team is small. We need someone to help with kids all time!

But this time when we gave her a pencil she start to color! WOW! Amazing! We never thought she will color when ever! Yes, it is just lines and something obscurity.But she colored! She was glad of it!

Also in the beginning of Bible lesson when we just came into the class she was smiling.We understood she recognised us.Because before she did not pay attention.She understand very well when she need stand up, go to eat, she listen her name and similar things.But she does not speak!Oh, poor girl! So, she can not say how she feels, what she would like,she is happy or sad.You can just read her eyes.
We were glad to see she has start to color.Hope she will remember it and learn more things. 

We were blessed to see children again! We praise the Lord for one more opportunity to see these special orphans and bring to them if only a little beam of light to their life!

A testimony of God`s grace

Dear fellows in Christ,

    My name is Yaroslav. I was born in a non-Christian family. When I was about 10 years old my parents got divorced. I did not know much about God, actually very little. My mom found another man and started to drink alcohol with him. My childhood was pretty tough. Because of drinking my mom did not have much money and I used to be hungry quite often. 

   But I had a friend Vasya who lived in a Christian family. They were my neighbors and they helped me with food and cloth. So time passed and after I graduated from high-school I wanted to continue my study in a local technical university but I didn’t have money. I didn’t know what to do. Mom still used to drink. No money. No job. No future. Life seemed so miserable to me, so empty.

   But one day my friend Vasya invited me to come to a youth meeting in his church. I agreed. It was a group of Christian young people. I really enjoyed it. They were so friendly and happy. They were different than other people I knew. We sang songs and played games. I liked to fellowship with them. They also told about Jesus Christ and how everyone can become a Christian. But I was afraid. Something restrained me.

    

     And then one day Vasya invited me to listen to an American evangelist Don Betts. It was very interesting to hear an American speaking so I went. I remember I listened very carefully while he was talking about Jesus’ life. And then he asked who would like to accept Jesus as a personal Savior. I realized that I needed to do that. So I came forward and prayed to God to forgive my sins and asked Jesus to come into my heart. I was very happy. It happened on April, 22 of 1999. I know God works in different ways, but this is the way He worked with me. I’m glad He did. I know when I die I go to heaven because I’m a God’s child since Jesus came into my heart! Amen!

    God has been very good to me. The same year when I got saved I won scholarship and entered the Technological University for free which I graduated from in 2004. I was so excited about the Lord that I also decided to find a Bible school to learn more about the Word of God. There was one school which allowed evening classes so I entered it. During the time of study we passed Bible tracts, preached Jesus and helped orphans. God blessed me with good friends. One of them was Michael Glazov. We studied together and used to help each other in the time of need. We prayed for each other and served the Lord together. It was such a blessing! 

     So I graduated from Beacon Bible College in 2003. A year later I was invited to the US to witness about God’s work in Ukraine. And the Lord really blessed my trip. I experienced an American culture and learned the way the ministry is organized in American churches and missions. When I returned to Ukraine the Lord had something else for me. God taught me a good lesson. The life in America was quite different than in Ukraine. I thought I could do everything by myself but I was wrong. I had to learn to trust the Lord no matter whether I’m in America or Ukraine. I realized that I had to humble myself before Him and wait until His time. I knew that His will for me was to wait until He shows a right place for me in the ministry. I moved to Kiev and got a job as a software engineer but at the same time I was trying to serve the Lord. I passed out the tracts, visited orphanages and hospitals, participated at the tent meetings and witnessed about Jesus Christ to other people. Many got saved! Praise the Lord!

     Sometime later the Lord led me to join  Bible Orphan Ministry which was found by Michael Glazov – he is also the pastor of Bible Baptist Church “Charity” in Zhitomir. I have known Michael for 12 years and I can say that he is a good pastor and a great friend. I am glad that we can continue to serve the Lord together just as we did when we were in College. I am glad I am a part of the team of people who love the Lord and who want to serve Him and I know that we can serve the Lord better together not just one by one.

      As I do not have any regular support at this time I have to work at a secular job to support myself. Of course I am thankful that God gave me this job. I know I can work and serve the Lord at the same time. But I cannot do much because the work takes a lot of my time. And I was thinking to myself the other day: “ok, Lord what do you want me to? I have to work to earn money but the work takes time and there is not much time left to do anything else.” And the Lord answered: “Just do what you can!” There is a verse in the Bible which says: "The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few" (Matthew 9:37). There is also another verse: “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:19). So I know that if this is God’s will for me to become a full-time minister He will provide the needed support. I will simply do what I can step by step as the Lord opens the doors. Please pray for me!!!

God has answered better than we asked Him!

We have a big blessing in our Ministry! We have prayed for a long time and tried to find an easier and convenient way to donate to our ministry.Because the bank account what we had is not real good and we had a troubles whith it sometimes.

Our Lord is great and good Lord! The Lord has answered on our prayers even better than we asked Him! He sent us a Christian Yaroslav Yasynskyy, who is agree we use his account PayPal for donation. He is a member our team. We know him for a long time.Almost all team study in Bible College together with him during some years. He is a good Christian who tries to live pure Christian life, who loves to read Bible and testimony to people about love of Jesus Christ. God already used him many times in our ministry for His glory! We are happy to serve the Lord together to save souls, preaches the Gospel, visit orphans and help them in their needs! We are thankful to the Lord for great mercy to us!

Testimony a orphan who was abandoned but was found by the Lord

 This is a testimony a girl who was left by mother at Children`s home, study at orphanage, was in shelter(half way house).Today she is Christian serves same children-orphans in Ukraine and is member of team Bible Orphan Ministry.Is not the miracle!

How i came to the Lord

" Come unto me, all that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."
(Matthew 11:28 )

  My name is Oksana. I was born  and  grow up in family with unbeliever parents where i never heard about Jesus. We lived in a village. My parents divorced, when I was one year old. I have also oldest sister Alla.
We growed up….It was very hard for our mom  to grow us.We had not often food at home, had not good clothes to wear.I wear out the shoes what was too small or too big for my feets.It brought for me many troubles.Mother beat me often.I have been very frightened as wasn't to whom will stand up for me.I felt myself alone.

  When i was 3-4 years old my mother left me at Children`s home.I was in shock my mom left me.After that i could not speak for along time.Later my mom took me away and left me at home my grandmother who care about me.I did not see my sister Alla for a long time.We miss much one other, wanted to play and grow up together.
Some later mother took me to same orphanage where my sister was study we could to see and speak with one other.Some christians came to orphanage and had spent time with children telling about Jesus Christ. I was interested, but a lot of things I did not understand. In this orphanage I was study and years later my mom took me to home in village—to work hard at home, and garden. But my sister stay at orphanage.

   When I was 13 years old I was in a children's shelter. The father has hidden me there from mother as she often strongly beat me. In the beginning me held in a room with grids at windows that I haven't escaped. But I wasn't going to escape as have been very frightened and didn't know where to run. I felt very alone. There it was awfully boring. Nobody visited me there.My sister did not know i was in children`s shelter at this time.
Soon my mom has found me there and has taken away home. With a pain and fear in heart I had to come back home.
I had a time when i did not know what to do. I felt nobody love me, i felt emptiness and bitterness in my heart. I could not understand, why I live on the Earth, I had not sense in my life. I had depressed condition. In my mind came thoughts to kill my self….

My sister Alla start to come to church and received Jesus Christ in her heart when she was 15 year old.I was in village at this time.

   When my sister finished school, she was study at college for teacher  in other town. She witnessed me about Jesus Christ and invited me to one church. I was in this church a few times, but did not  do important choice in my life yet.But Alla prayed about my salvation of my soul.

   Years later has to be opened a Christian school, and was need a christian teachers. Alla start to work in this school. Some later she took me to live with her.I moved to live in city with my Alla. I was 15 years old and was study at 9th class. So, I lived with Alla and coming to church at same time.The 6 month later I knew many people, had christian friends in church.
I had fear, that some time, I can  go to hell. I wanted to receive Jesus on ministry, when not many people, because I was a shamed that long time visit church but not do important choice.

  But God did how He wanted.The 15 of April, 2001 was holiday of Easter.
There were big crowd of people. In the end of ministry I felt, Holy Spirit touch my heart i decided to give Jesus my heart and my life. I received  Jesus Christ in my heart. Halleluiah!!! Praise the Lord!!! After this, I understood and knew, that I need stay at city, to attend a church, communicate with christians to grow spiritualy. Also I wanted to serve Jesus like my sister. I prayed for this and God answered on my prayer!
Now, I have ministry in orphanages, i`m a teacher of Sunday School at orphanages and church.My life changed.I know, why I live on the Earth! I can minister same children because i was the same way, i know what they feel in their hearts when nobody love you.I know how you feel yourself lonely and abandoned. Just Jesus Christ can give you love, piece and joy in your heart.
Praise the Lord for His love, patient, mercy to me!!!!!

What a blessing!

     Yesterday we had a meeting with orphans in K-v orphanage. All children of the orphanage have come on  2 lessons! What  blessing was to see them all!
Our command has been divided into 2 parts. Sasha and Lyba always hold meetings with older children.At them was more than 40 children. They played games, singing glorified our Lord and spoke about the most important, about the Lord Jesus Christ.
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God."Romans  3:23
    Sasha spoke and mentioned  that the sin does a disorder in human life. In life all turns out on the contrary. Only the person which has reconciled with God tries to live so in his heart and life there was an order.

                                                   Time for games.


   At this time other part of team Nadya, Oksana and Alla held a meeting with smaller children. There as were many kiddies.The meeting subject was Bible story about Abraham as the Lord promised him to bless and grant the son."That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which [is] upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;" Genesis 22:17

      Here children try to count sand grains of sand as like Lord promised to Abraham to bless him.

Here children located stars where they wanted. Then all have together counted them. And we have summed up to that. Whether we can count stars in the sky? So the Lord has promised to bless Abraham.

   Then we have shown to children short video about the Universe about stars created by our Lord. Children were surprised and admired! In point of fact our Lord surprising! What god can create the same beauty?

On it video we with children recalled songs what already have learned before. Here they sing a song about Noah.

   After children have heard Bible story, could play even in game. They answered questions on stories which have heard. And in the end of a lesson children did a craft about Abraham and his son Isaake.

  At this time while the command was engaged with children, the director of ministry Michael could communicate and witnessed to 10 employees(educatress) of the orphanage.They all are ladys. Also he had a fine possibility to speak about Jesus Christ to the director of the orphanage and her assistant.Praise the lord!

  We hadn't time to lead  that have planned, because in the orphanage children have been occupied their affairs of orphanage`s life before our arrival. We had even to wait a little while children will be released. At us time has been restricted. But all of us were glad to a meeting! All rejoiced and glorified the Lord! We value and we appreciate each moment and an instant led together with these children! We always thank the Lord for each possibility to see them and to spend time with them.

"A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, [is] God in his holy habitation." Psalms 68:5

Busy day with the orphans

We were so happy to visit the orphans on Friday in K. orphanage. We spent wonderful time with the children! We taught a Bible lesson about Genesis 13 where Lot and Abraham separated and Lot chose to settle in the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah. We played different games, sang, and did a craft with the children. At the end of the lesson, everyone got a small reward, a balloon.

It was a big blessing for us when the director of the orphanage invited us to tea in his office. We spoke with him about different problems the orphans face and how to help them, etc. We had the opportunity to witness to him about Jesus Christ! He willing to listen and very open to hearing the Word of God. We were so glad!

    In this game, was written something on each balloon that made children happy, such as bicycles, games, traveling to the sea, candies, etc. There was one balloon that had the name of Jesus written on it. The children had to make the choice of whether to gather all of the worldly things that made them happy, or choose the one balloon that represented Jesus. The children learned to make the right choice in life, which is Jesus.

                                  The Bible story about Lot and Abraham.

 Here we played a game. The children selected who they wanted to be, Lot or Abraham. If the child took a sweet, it meant they were like Lot and they went to the earth that was pleasant to his eyes. The next child was Abraham and did not have a choice, but had to go to the opposite side.

The lesson of the game was to teach the children to make correct choices in life and learn to be compliant, not to quarrel and fight among themselves, but to be generous and kind like Abraham.

Before the children came in for the lesson, we hid the Bible verse “If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.” Romans 12:18
The class divided into 2 groups. The 2 groups competed to see who could find the verse first.

At the end of the lesson the children did a craft about Lot and Abraham, where they wrote the Bible verse they learned during the lesson.

                              The children have received balloos as a small reward.

                                                         Kids at the hospital.

   Unfortunately not all of the children could come to the Bible lesson. Many children are sick in the sick room of the orphanage and also in the local hospital. We had the opportunity to visit these children and bring them small gifts. We wish we could give them more, but we do not have that option right now. The children were so glad! We heard them say things like, “Wow, I have an orange! Wow! I have this!”

Bible says: "Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep." 

Romans 12:15

  We were very glad when we found out we could visit them. We risked our health by going to the hospital, since the children have high temperatures, cough, colds, etc., but we love them very much and we couldn’t pass by the hospital without visiting them.
   From communicating with the children in the hospital, we learned that many of them don’t have toothpaste or a toothbrushes. There is no shampoo or soap. No games to keep them entertained and free from boredom. Tomorrow, if God allows, we want to visit them again.

   The director of the orphanage asked us to help get the children vitamins so they will be able to stay healthy, since they are often ill. We would like to bring the children lots of vitamins and medicines! At this time, we can only pray and ask the Lord to help the orphans…
We are a bit tired, but happy we came back by evening. We were glad to spend the whole day with the orphans!

 Hello to everyone! My name is Misha (Michael). I`m not a writer, I`m not eloquent, I`m just a Christian but I would like to share with you all how Jesus Christ has changed my life and why I minister to orphans in Ukraine.

How Jesus saved me.

 I was born near Saratov, Russia in 1967 to a family of non-believers. The village I was born in was 120 kilometers from the city. We moved to the city of Saratov when I was 2 ½ years old. When I was 5 years old my parents divorced, and when I was 7 years old I was sent to an orphanage.

     When I aged out of the orphanage, I searched for a place to study or work. The place where I wanted to study cost a lot of money, which I didn’t have. Consequently, I couldn’t study. My mother began to drink and my father lived with another family at that time. Over 15 years I sometimes earned money, but it was very difficult. In the USSR at that time, there was a law that minors could not work. I needed to pay utilities for an apartment and buy food and clothes. During this time, I made friends with people from the underworld, where I started to get money in unjustifiable ways, to steal. I got used to this way of life and decided to live like all the people around me. I understood that if I didn’t find money myself, that no one would help me in this world. Nothing in life brought me pleasure, I was lonely. After leaving school, I had to visit a children’s shelter. While I was there, in the evenings I reflected on the meaning of life. What was I living for? What waited for me in the future? I could think of nothing good. I was constantly sad and depressed.

   By this time, my mother had left me at one house in order to live with a girlfriend at another house. I did not love the underworld in which I lived, but I needed to find money in order to survive. When I was in the orphanage, I had food, clothes and a place to sleep. Though I was deprived of many things that I needed, such as food, clothing and a warm place to sleep, I did what I could to survive.

    At first it felt terrible to steal, but as time went on I got used to it and I lost the fear that I might go to prison. I knew I was wrong, but I silenced my conscience with wine and vodka with friends at parties and in bars. During that time I went to the orthodox church and I gave money to the poor, thinking that those things would silence my conscience. In my understanding, God was only an icon, he was in a church dome, in a dagger on a neck. Hell for me was only a myth or a legend. Such religion didn’t give me fear that led to a life of repentance before God. I started to hijack cars in order to sell spare parts. I didn’t understand why I was living or what the purpose of my life was.

    After 15 years, I was caught for the first time. I was sent to prison for 3 years for stealing cars and other crimes. After being released, I went back to my old habits. After 14 months, I was again sent to prison, where I lost 4 more years of my young life. At this time, I began to ponder my life and what would come of it. Prison, some months of freedom, again prison, freedom, prison…
During the last part of my time in prison, I addressed God, without even knowing if He was really there. I even made a good luck charm to wear on a chain around my neck. I thought this would help me communicate with God. I started to hunger and thirst for change in my life, even my dreams were changing. I started to dream of unusually beautiful gardens. When I woke up, I was in a good mood. When I was released from jail at the age of 23, I once again went back to my old business of crime. I forgot about my reflections on God and eternity while in jail. I had many friends in the underworld and I didn’t see any real chances to change my life. The police often detained me, but every time I escaped consequence.

    In 1995 a group of my friends and I were detained once again and I assumed I would have to say goodbye to freedom for 5 years or more. By then I knew the criminal code enough to know that my punishment would increase each time I was caught. I had friends who helped me get out of trouble. In August of the same year I left to live in Ukraine hoping, after leaving my friends, to try and begin a new life.
    In 1999, I realized and came to the understanding that I should reconcile with God. I read every brochure, every piece of Christian literature, trying to find out more and more about the knowledge of God. I read the Bible more often and although I gradually grew in the fear of God, I still did not understand that He needed to change my heart.
    On one February evening, I read a part of the Bible in Luke about the rich man and Lazarus. I understood that I had a choice to make and my spirit was not at peace. Though this evening I was fairly drunk from drinking vodka, the fear of God was still stronger than the vodka, which I thought would calm me. Sometime around 5:00 in the morning, I woke up. My heart had been filled with fear and I realized that God was angry with me, and reconciliation with God was much easier than I had thought. I knew that I had to make the decision to be saved.

 

   For the first time, I knelt before God and sincerely opened my heart to Him, confessed my sins and errors and realized my full insignificance before God. In my head, I felt the hang-over condition, but God’s peace had filled my heart and had forever changed my life. After my reconciliation with God, I had a strong desire to study in a Christian college. The same year, God gave me that opportunity. During my studies, I consequently needed money from time to time and I earned it. In the second year of my studies, God called me to minister to orphanages and He gave me the understanding and the desire to do what I now do. I love this ministry and I love the kids. I am thankful to the Lord for calling me to this!

   I understand the hearts and minds of the children who live in orphanages, as I once did. I want to save them from the underworld that I was in.
   I often had the opportunity to preach and that made me very glad. I had a big desire to study the Bible and to teach others. In due course, a group of young people who also love the Word of God was organized, and they had the desire to study more. In my heart I felt the desire to be a pastor. I started to pray about it. In 2005, the Lord answered my prayer and I became the pastor of the local Bible Baptist Church Charity.

Neither my parents, nor life in an orphanage, neither prison, nor my friends, no one could change my life. Hebrews 4:12 “For the Word of God [is] quick and powerful,…”  

But only the living God and Creator of the universe could change my life and my heart completely. For that I am very glad and happy!

Philippians 3:13-14 «… I count not myself to have apprehended: but [this] one thing [I do], forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus."

A Blessed trip!

    Our Lord is a wonderful Lord! He gave us the chance to visit one more orphanage yesterday, and to have a Bible lesson with nearly all of the children in the orphanage! We divided them into two groups, one with older children and one with young children In the younger group there were about 37 children. And in older group, where there was a ministry for teenagers, there were about 27-30 children. Our whole team of 6 people was able to go meet with the children.
   Last Saturday we couldn't visit this orphanage because many of the children were sick. We prayed for them. Thanks to all of you who prayed for these children. The Lord was merciful, all of the children were healthy this time and we had a GREAT meeting! Praise the Lord!
   When we arrived, the children gathered very quickly, everyone ran into the class. We were overjoyed to see that they were waiting for us, since we come to them every Saturday.

We told them the Bible story about the Tower of Babel, played games, sang songs, and did crafts.

 All of them enjoyed playing different games. Since there are so many children, it is sometimes difficult to select players. We try to make sure each child gets to participate in a game during the lesson.

 

We took cardboard boxes to construct the Tower of Babel, so the children could visualize the tower.

Nadya read the Bible story to the children. While she read, the other children built a tower.

 The kids really liked building the tower, so they wanted to use their imaginations and build more towers.

Here we study and we sing a new song, the Name of the Lord is a strong tower. They like the song, so we sang it several times.

When we told them that we would play a new game, each of them wanted to play..They are all sooo sweet!

We distributed sweets. The children love sweets very much! After the lesson, many children asked for more sweets.

 

   At the end of the lesson, the children did a crafts about the Tower of Babel. Many of the children like to draw, cut, and do things with their hands They really enjoy doing any crafts.
   The children are very talented. It is a pity that there is no one to help them develop their talents.

   There are many children who aren't able to read, write, cut, or do elementary skills. Therefore it is always necessary to help, explain and teach them how to cut. Very often it is physically difficult, because there are a lot of children, and not many of us. There is so much to do, and so many children who need individual help crafts, we are torn as to how to meet all of their needs at once.

  When the children make even small achievements, they are very excited and run to us hoping we will be glad for them.

At this time in the other class, there was a meeting with the older children. Sasha spoke with them about the uncertainties in a human life.

Throughout a meeting, they played games, sang songs, talked, asked questions etc. Everyone was very thankful for the meetings and the companionship!

 At this time, there was a meeting with the younger and the older children. Misha, the director of ministry, communicated and witnessed to the schoolmasters of children. There were 8-9 people, since there were 9 classes in the orphanage with one schoolmaster per class. The children were at our disposal. Misha communicated with the schoolmasters, and after speaking with them, he left them some Christian literature.

The children didn't want the meeting to end. We arrived home later than usual, but we were soooo happy about our meeting and our companionship with everyone! We are so grateful to the Lord for this possibility! Our Lord is sooo Good and Great! We serve a wonderful God! We were sooo happy to see all of the kids!
