First time ever...

What a fantastic day had those beautiful young ladies few weeks ago!Those young 8 ladies have been first time ever out of the orphanage! Many of them are over 20 years old. Absolutely EVERYTHING was first time ever for these girls!Can you imagine not being out of the orphanage over 20-25 years old???...

They had never seen such a huge store and they were thrilled!When girls decided to buy juice and have seen a lot choice, they got lost and for a long time they could not chose what they want. :)

They first saw the scales and we have explained and taught them how to use it, how to weigh fruits and vegetables.

 They were very interested and excited to learn.

They had never seen a fish in the store and all kinds of it and were shocked that it's possible to buy it alive. :)

Ladies have never seen an automatic revolving door and they were afraid to go through them that not to get stuck. They laughted a lot. But one girl hurted her leg a bit. But then she was okay.

They first saw and learned how to use escalator. Most of them were afraid to get on the moving steps and lose the balance to avoid falling. Oh, no no I can not do it! they said. Some girls had to help by taking their hands.

How the girls were happy to ride on the carousel! Their eyes were shining and they were thrilled!!! Oh, my!

They have never been in a pet shop and never saw different animals. Oh, what is it?  Wow! look at this! What is the name of an animal? and many, many different questions were from their lips. This store was for them as a small zoo :)

 It was so fun!

Young ladies also had the opportunity to jump and have fun on the trampoline.

 They were so excited to ride in cars! It was so fun and they love it!!!

There was a lot of fun and laughter.

And the end of all the entertainments and fun, for the FIRST TIME ever the girls were in McDonald`s! Yay!

 They were waiting for this moment for whole year! Can you imagine how they felt and longed for? For some reason in the orphanage, we could not take them out of the orphanage so long. We prayed and asked the Lord to resolve this issue. Finally it happened! Praise God!!!

A few days before our meeting, the girls are constantly approached and asked. When we were going to McDonald`s? Is it true that we are going there? They would not forget taking us there? Young ladies were preparing for this event for a few weeks and hundreds of times asking employees about this event. :)

Girls had never seen franch fries and did not know how to eat. They had never seen a drink straw and did not know how to use and what to do with it.

First ice cream in McDonald`s and so on, and so on... And many, many, many more things were first time ever! Those beautiful souls were admired and they were overjoyed! :)

Day was amazing and we were so happy to see those precious souls smiling, laughing with sparkling eyes and with such happy smiles!!!! We thank God for the opportunity He gave us to bring such a great joy for these sweet ladies.
They all were soooo sad and did not want come back to the orphanage and asked to stay longer... :(

A one employer of the orphanage kissed and hugged us many, many times and said, You even can not imagine what you have done for them! All glory to God!!! :)

Serving the Lord together

"I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. 

So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.

Someone donates, someone prays, someone serves, we are God's labourers. Every one shall receive his own reward. 

We have been so very happy to meet our sweet friends last Wednesday! They did not know we were going to meet them at airport and it was a sweet surprise :) I was so nervous and my knees were trembling that I thought I would pass out!!! Crazy. Ha Ha! I was sooooo very happy to see this precious family Morganti, who barely knew me but hosted in California and treated like a princess for what I`m so grateful God and it was wonderful and unforgettable experience in USA :)

The next day we have met our dear friend, brother Kevin, who has such a generous heart to Ukrainian orphans working very hard to bless them.I lost count of how many hundreds of packages he sent  from USA to BOM for several years. :) God is good!

All together we had a sweet time of fellowship.

We visited boys in a mental institution.  I have a wonderful news for you. But about it later :)

We had a Bible lesson with girls, talking about Rahab and Jericho.

We had a lot of fun!

All our church congratulated and celebrated Birthday of our guest from U.S.

Everyone received a special gift from bro.Kevin at church. Everyone was so happy and it was so sweet!

While our van was being repaired on Monday, we walked around the city. It was a hot day and all were wet! Oh. But we had a wonderful fellowship with young people.

Stella invited to the church her friends, who are former orphans as well. They loved to be with children of God! Both young ladies, Anya(in red on the picture) and Sveta(in grey) are not Christians, very interested continue to visit church services. We would be so thankful if you pray please for their salvation. We are so excited to see more and more young people join and interested to hear the God`s word! What a blessing!

On September, 1th the BOM visited kids for First Bell and 20 backpacks have been delivered to the orphanage. Kids were so excited! Yay! Director was so happy and greatly thanked for this beautiful blessing. Thank you! Thank you very much to all, who blessed these precious children with this awesome gift! You are amazing!!! Really. Director says, now all village(orphanage is in village) will speak what a beautiful gifts children received. :)

The name of Jesus is praising and glorifying far away! Awesome! Thank you so very much, who made it possible!!!

We have found a cafe-museum recently! Where you can have the Ukrainian delicious meal for about $3.00-5.00 and see old stuff what people used many years ago and still using in villages. We loved it! If you come to visit BOM, now we know where to take you ;) Ha ha!

 This week we had an awesome Bible lesson with boys! We talked about 10 Egypt plagues and had so much fun!

Also BOM had a chance to visit young adults at a trade school, who graduated this year. They are not very happy they have to study at this school and cannot choose, where they would like to study and they all are very sad.Young people just don`t have a choice. They will get stipend about 270 uah( about $12.00) per month.It is enough to buy food for few days.

In room there no socket. I have no idea why. So, they can not plug in any electric device. :(

 We gave them personal care items and had sweet time of fellowship.

 About 140 kids live in a dormitory, where only 2 showers.

 Boys and girls live on one floor. If you go first in line you will take shower with a hot water, then next, sorry, only cold water.

The toilet room is closed during a day, administration opens it after 6-7.00pm. They have go outside to use a rest room.

We watched how they learned to use ATM and get bank card at a bank first time in life.They felt lost filling out a documents at bank.

Each of teen has their own struggle and problem. After school they wander and don`t know what to do...And I would say it is depressing. They feel alone and that nobody takes care of them. Please, pray for this young people God protect them from a sin and troubles. Pray God give us wisdom how to show the love of Christ and care. Of course, they were so happy to see us and said, "please, come oftener."

About the 12 spies to younger ones

Hello everyone! I hope you have wonderful days with unexpected blessings :)

Yesterday we had such a nice time with younger group of girls! We had planned spend time with older girls. But when we arrived to a mental institution we learned that they have a bath day. It means that many girls won`t be able to come and have fellowship with us. Maybe the administration forgot to warn us? Opps. Then they asked us maybe you will spend time with younger group?  If God wants we share Christ love with little ones today. Why, not?So, the Bible lesson we planned for older girls we had with younger ones.

We had such a blessed time! It was pleasant to hear a caretaker said, I want be present too and have a fun. I like very much when you come and how carry on meetings. Can I join? It was sweet balm to our ears. :) She helped us in many ways with kids. Such a blessing!

So, our Bible story was about 12 spies. It was great! 

Then girls had to "eat a huge grape" answering questions about story. They tear away the number they wanted, so this number of the question they answered.

When we repeated a new song we learned in the beginning our meeting. We made the craft of spies. Kids were excited and made so wonderful job!

The young lady helped other girl to color her craft. It was so sweet...

The little one was so happy to get balloon :)

And in the end everyone received a stuffed toy.

Also we have such an awesome blessing! The entire orphanage received 80 towels and underwear for girls! Administration and staff was very glad and greatly thanked! For all orphanage! Can you imagine?! How wonderful!!! 

We are so and so thankful to bro. Daniel Scott and his community in Ohio, who helped so and so many orphans in Ukraine already!What a beautiful , beautiful blessing!
