Our little princess, miss Masha

Many of you I believe watched a wonderful story on ABC news about month ago, about family Cox, who adopted a precious Mia from Ukraine.If no, please look here.
And many of you have noticed a little girl named Masha.Who has won sympathies of many hearts in America and probably in other countries...Here, we call her tenderly, our little "star" :)

Many of you already saw her Here and Here on video before airing story on television.You only did not know that she is, miss Masha and our little princess :) So, sorry we could not say before. :)

Isn`t a miracle and wonderful blessing!? We are thrilled to see what God is doing!!!

 After when video clip was placed on website of ABC news, Andrea Roberts from Reece`s Rainbow contacted us and would love to find a loving family for this precious little girl.We were excited and of course, it was our wish too!

Weeks later we had privilege to speak with director of orphanage about Masha, to find a family for her.We did not know will be he interested or no.We prayed and asked the Lord to help.We know girls with special needs do not have a future there.It`s sadly but truth.
In the beginning he said, yes, he was agree.But when we told it can be foreign family and we told him about  American charity, Reece`s Rainbow. After that he said:"Oh, no.If it would be ukrainian family, it`s not problem but foreign..."

We had peace in our hearts and we continued our conversation.
After that he said:" I can not understand why foreign people adopt kids with disabilities?I can understand healthy children but disabled child?"
We began to say what we know.That children with special needs go to school, train, receive a medical care, what a wonderful love they receive in many families, those kiddies who were dieing in orphanages, now they alive and enjoy a life and many other things we said.

And just in moment I have recalled that have a picture of Cornish family, who adopted several kids with special needs from Ukraine.Same picture what we showed other director, when we have talked about Aleksa adoption more than year ago. :) We told about what they did for children, how they care, love etc.And about a miracle God made in life little Emma etc.If you did not see.Please, watch video here.It`s amazing!
After hearing that  he, said: "Ok,I agree that she will be adopted".
We praised and glorified God in our hearts at this moment!
I would like to tell you that the conversation was not heavy with director,it was easy and he is kind.We are sure God was leading this talking.But he afraid to let Masha be adopted by foreign family because he knows NOTHING about children with special needs, that they can have bright future and children do not live same life as in Ukraine.


That is why our main goal to share information about Down syndrome in mental institutions and orphanages.
And that is why we began this new project to spread the word.I think it would be great to show ukrainian people about orphans with special needs who were adopted.How they looked before at orphanages and how they look now, when they are in loving families.I`m sure it will change hearts!So, please, share this link,http://bibleorphanministry.blogspot.com/2012/01/we-need-your-help-to-break-stereotype.html  to spread the word.Thank you!


We are so thankful to ABC news, Abbie Boudreau and Sarah Netter to give a chance to find forever families for children with special needs.And we so thankful to Andrea Roberts from Reece`s Rainbow who has a huge heart to orphans with special needs,help them find forever loving families!

 So, for now please, pray that Mommy and Daddy will find Masha, will find her, little princess and give her love, care and future.Please, pray God will lead their hearts to this sweet little girl.

 And we would be very thankful if you will pray.As we are going to speak with directors of mental institutions and orphanages about children with special needs, to ask their permit that children will be adopted and find their families.It will take a time.Thank you!

I never told you, but a few months ago I saw that you posted a link on facebook about an adoption ministry called Reece's Rainbow. That night I was looking through the children that are waiting, and I found a beautiful little girl and in my spirit I knew that we were going to adopt her. For many years my mother has been praying for her adoptive daughter and when I showed her the picture of the little girl on the computer, my mom jumped and cried because she knew that it was from GOD! I had never heard about Reece's Rainbow before. I found out about that website through your blog and that is where we found Amelia.

 Isn`t amazing to know and see how God works!?Wow! I would be named it miracle "number two", where through our ministry a family found her daughter. :) The "number one", many of you have read before.If no, please read here.To know more details, please read and watch video.Each time when I watch, it brings tears of joy and how is AWESOME God who still does miracles same as more than 2000 years ago.Because HE is ALIVE GOD!

A meeting with precious cuties with special needs

Well, we have another blessing!Yesterday we had a  blessed journey of visiting orphans.It was long day but blessed by the Lord!We are so exciting by this amazing and wonderful day!

Last week every day we had rain but yesterday the sun came out finally and the weather was nice!

We were able to visit small orphans with special needs.It is one of the biggest orphanage we visit.But all other orphans are in camp what is close to this area where is orphanage.

A little bit about this orphanage. Here are small kids age 3-10 years old. They live, eat and sleep in separate buildings.When they get age of 8-10 they go to study in same orphanage but in different buildings.If the administration of orphanage see these kids can not educate, they transfer them to special orphanages, girls where are only girls and boys where are only boys.There they learn only read, write and mathematic.But many of them can not do it, read, write and etc.

But if administration of this orphanage see children can educate, they stay and live in same orphanage.

So, these small kids with special needs are like little part or children`s house of big orphanage. There are 22 kids now.They all transfer from 2 babies houses we have in our region.When mothers leave them after their birth, they live in baby house 2-3 years and after that they can be transfer to this children`s house.Here orphans only with special needs. They all can be adopted!

When we just arrived to the orphanage, children saw us and did run directly to us.They were standing around us, everyone wanted attention to them.You could hear:"mommy", "candy", "toy" and etc. Some of them wanted you take them on your hands.Some of them interrupted other kids and try to tell you something.Many of them call "mommy" all ladies they see.Ah,they all are so sweet!We were so impressed to see them all and how they are precious and darlings!

We have spent time with them in nice room where they usually play.
During the program they were so attentive and exciting by everything we do with them! We  even did not expect they will be so happy and exciting by this all! They all are so so cute and sweet! You want to hug much all of them in one time!

Children liked so much puppet show that they asked us for more songs!We were amazed!

Learning a song with movements.They all did great job!They LOVE this song!

Children were such impressed and amazed by lions! They said WOW! They are so big! They are innocence perfect!

                      Children have played, burst of balloons.So much happy by it!

                             So much funny and sooooo cute!

Next game "Pin the tail on the lion" .They excited by this game too!

We remember about caretakers also and giving to them of Christian literature, gospel tracts and etc.

 

 Here children happy and exciting by soapy bubbles!We bought to them soapy bubbles and decided to play with them.Oh, my goodness they were sooooo impressed we even did not expect they will react by this way! Oh, how they were glad by it!

                      All kiddies wanted attention by different ways!
So much happy, impressed and amazed we did ride to visit other orphans who are from same orphanage but in summer camp!
We were so glad to see these precious and dear kids! We are so glad we could make if only a little bit their day different from other days!What the mighty and amazing God we serve! How the great His mercy is to us! We are so blessed and happy to serve Him!
It is sad and heartbreaking but as in every orphanage this orphanage has needs also.There are a lot of them.
 Our wish is to help them to have a new playground.Look at this horrible place! It is sad that children do not have a place where to play.

 These all swings are very and very old, broken and worn out. It is dangerously to play for children there! Children LOVE these swings much!These 2 precious boys wanted to play there.But caretaker did not let them because it is dangerously and it can fall down in any time and bring a trouble and damage to a child.

There are 2 playgrounds because the orphanage is very big.But we think if we will help them even with one of that, it will bring much happiness, joy and blessings to kids! We need a miracle from the Lord to help these sweet orphans!PLEASE, pray God will help us to do it!

Leaving behind us these cuties we went to see other orphans in summer camp. It was a sad to leave them here.They all waved their hands and did cry that we come back soon! We pray God will bless and we will see them again very soon!

These beautiful girls are orphans which we were able visited in summer camp.All kids from the orphanage they are about 170 children are in this place.

We did not see all of children because we came here to ask for permit to come here next week with special program to children.The administration of camp did let us do it with pleasure. They remember us very well. We come here every summer when orphans are here.

We left Gospel tracts to girls and our cell phones.Of course orphans can not call to cell phones but they want to have anything from you just to know and remember you.They are amazing and so sincere!They do not have attention in so many ways!They all need a mother!

They let us know that they feel bored here and often do not know what to do.It is not surprise! We did not see here no one game and NOTHING for development and fun time to children. They have nothing in their room except 6 beds in one small room, one bed-side table for 6 persons and a cabinet for clothes. They do not have hot water and in 8.00pm even cold water intercept every day.
Often orphans run away from here because they feel bored.

We think to buy several football balls, badmintons and other sport games.We can present it to them, to make busy and just have fun time.We necessary if only $100 for that.Can you please, to help?We have only several days. In 4-5 days we are going to visit them again, if God`s will.Thank you!

           In this building we are going to have a program next time.

This is the way how children dry their clothes if nice weather.

This camp is in forest and we were coming back through villages.Here are several pictures of Ukrainian villages. :)

Every region is different, depends where it is locate.In this region all buildings are from orange bricks because in city close is bricks factory.

And in the end of our traveling we could to visit one sister in Christ (grandmother) and have fellowship with her.Ukrainian people has own tradition and culture to be warmly welcoming and feed guests.Even you have a little food and reside modest but you have to take out your food you have and will feed guests they feel good.Very often ukrainians eat potatoes any kind, fried or boiled and something more. Grandmother fed us, it was real good! We praised the Lord for that because we were hungry after many traveling! :) It was real blessing from the Lord!

All Christians do that! Like Abraham fed Angels.Genesis 18:1-8

So, full of blessings and happy we came back to home!

Meeting with smallest precious cuties

The Lord Jesus has blessed and gave opportunity to our team visited smallest kids we serve.

This is Children`s Home where are about 60 precious cuties 2-7 years old.They all are mental healthy and  there about 20 kids who can be adopted.When children come to 7 years old they transfer to study and live to an orphanage.Where they meet many troubles, trials, tears, fears, indignity, insults and etc.

How it can be that this darlings and beautiful children meet these terrible things and much much more?

How it can be if a boy or girl crying, their tears cleans by not mommy or daddy but someone else?

Why no one does not read Bible or tell stories about great  hero of Bible before the night?

Why they do not have own doll or car or any other toy?

Why these cuties do not know who is mammy or daddy and do not know how to be in family?

Why they do not know and do not feel kisses and hugs of parents?

Why these small precious kids do not get Birthday gifts, never do not eat cake, sweets,  not blew out candles and do not have friends who can celebrate their special day?

You can not look at them without tears of sorrow...

Many and many same questions you can ask. It is very heavy to answer...It is heavy burden in our hearts about these nice kids. One i know Bible says: "...and the whole world lieth in wickedness."  1 John 5:19(b)

One cute boy told us, when we asked him: "Do you want to be in the heaven with Jesus?" He answered: "Yes and  I would like to meet there mommy and daddy."
Can you imagine it? These little beautiful kids all time think about their parents! Sometimes when we come they ask us: "Did you see my mommy?" "Why she did not come with you?" or you can hear "Are you my mommy?" and twitches your hand or your skirt and looks at your eyes fixedly.
What we can answer to them? What we have to tell them where their parents?Oh, it is so heavy...very very heavy...It crush your heart...

That is why our team comes to visit these abandoned and darling kids.That is why we try to tell them about Who never will leave them, He loves and cares about them.All comfort and piece they can find only in Him. We love them so much! Oh, how they are precious and sweet!

So, what our team did with these little cuties?

When kids saw our Director Misha outside, they started to run toward him and huged like bees of honey.Misha could not move and thought  that he will fall down in a moment. It was soooo funny! Oh, how they are sweet!

Before children came to the hall where we usually have meeting with them, our team was preparing for program.

When children came to the hall and saw our team, they were glad! They knew that the puppet show waiting for them and something special!They were smiling and took their places on chairs to sit down. Some were spanking by hands and said WOW! They were much exciting!

This time we told them Bible story about Daniel in den. Sisters have chosen kids who helped in story and have played acts of heroes.

I think our king Darius is perfect! :) He is sooo cute! Is not he sweet? And all kids did great job during story!

They like it much!All children did enjoy by this story!
Also kids have played a game where they needed to burst a balloon the way they wanted and will find tortile piece of paper.

Words of Bible verse were written on piece of papers. When children have found all words, they learned Bible verse.

And as all time they all wanted to play this game! Children love balloons! Sometimes it is heavy to choose a child for a game!

Here is short video of this game.It was funny when a girl needed to burst a balloon.But she started to play with it! How is sweet! And how a little boy decided to help her to burst the balloon.They are so funny! :)))

Also children were able to play in game "Pin a tail on the lion".There are were many kids who wanted to play!

And in the end of the meeting the team gave candies to children.

Oh, how they love sweets!They were glad to get it!

Our dream and wish is to present to them much more, not a one candy! Are they did not deserve much more gifts or sweets?
God wants to give them much more! We are not able and we need your helping... Please, will you bless these precious, darling and beloved kids? Thank you!
