Joy to abandoned ones

Well.I`m very happy and finally can share with you about wonderful visit of girls in mental institution we had recently.But first I would love to thank you for return and be faithful readers and followers of blog!We appreciate it very much!

God had blessed not only successful visit to girls but provided their physical needs too.We were so happy to bring them, with what God blessed us!

People donated clothes, gloves, shoes.Also we were able to buy chemical stuff and diapers.Isn`t amazing blessing?

Administration of orphanage were very glad and thankful very much!We pray we can help more with diapers.As there are 90 girls with special needs, years of age 4-35, they have a real big need with it.They necessary about 1200-1300 diapers for a month!That is a lot!Also they have a need with overclothes, winter coats, wintery jacket etc.

Next I would like to show you photos and videos what we could do there with girls.

First we had meeting with small ones.In this room were heaviest children from this group.The others could not be with us.We were upset a little.Reason because government officials arrived at this day.
And we understood that is not good for us to go to an orphanage when there is any official, because administration, children and staff are busy and can not be with us full time.We knew it before and never did.
But probably director forgot to let us know about it when we called to him, do not know.But anyway we had a wonderful time with kiddies and they were so and so happy!They were so impressed and excited by games and especially puppet show!
But God used our coming there, I will tell you little below. :)

After singing, puppet show and Bible story, we had several games with children.Hope you are not tired yet to see and hear about Jonah. :)  We have one more orphanage where we will go with this program tomorrow.And probably it is last orphanage with this program.

Puppet show.They were excited sooo much that even a small girl began to jump.And some of them clapped up hands.I love it! Is not sweet?How they are precious and adorable!

                             

 

Next we taught kiddies to pass on a toy to the next one and to spin around themselves.Nannies were very sweet and they helped us with games.When they told us that some girls can not play at this game, they understand nothing.We said that is ok, even they will touch to a toy, that will be perfect.That was interesting, who understand nothing, as nannies told us, they could to play games too.

 We try to break stereotype of staff and think about  children with special needs, by games, songs etc.That many of them understand many things.Yes, they can not do, because staff do not train them.But they are as all children, want to play, to learn, touch, try etc. 

Yes, it is not easy but we do what we can.But most we are happy to see smile and impress kids!That they will be happy and bring a joy and love to them.To bring positive emotions to them and give our hugs.Because as many of you know, children in mental institution are forgotten and abandoned for survival...

 

After we did catch a fish.As many of you know this game already. They did real good! Girls were excited very much by game!And they loved stickers we gave to them.

Puppet show again

Girls were so much impressed and happy!Oh, how they enjoyed by puppets!

Several girls did not have any reaction because they are blind...It is so heavy to see it and understand you can not help...I only ask oneself and pray, Lord, how we can help?What we can do to make easier their life?What we can do they will not suffer?What we can do to give a chance to live if only little better and give a wish to live?

 I think being in this mental institution, where nobody hug or kiss you, where nobody tell you warm words, only yelling and reproaches,nobody spend time with you, someone take your hand and guide you somewhere do not explain, someone feed and wash you.You feel lonely and unwanted by sitting whole day on bench nothing  doing.It even words can not describe...I feel sometimes guilty that can not help...

In the end we could give candies and bananas to children.What a blessing was to children.

Also we could give candies and bananas to small kids who were not with us.Oh, how they were happy to see us!They had run to hug and kiss.And began to scream!It was scream of joy! :) They were excited so much!!!I even can not describe it by words! But we could not be with them for a long time because we needed to be with older girls, who waited for us.

Isn`t she cute and precious?I just want to hug her very much! :)

In next group for older girls we had all same games, song with gestures, very simple Bible story etc.And we had a wonderful time!!!

As we wanted that children take part in story too.We chose a Jonah.In group for small girls Nina helped us, such kind and smart girl.But in this group all (we know who can) girls hesitate to play a role.I would say they doubt or inadequacy than hesitate :(

So, we took Nina again.And she was happy very much to be Jonah again.She was in both groups.

We liked very much when they heard voices of sea-gull, whale and noise of the sea during story.They were soooo quiet and listened VERY attentively.It was such amazing and wonderful moment!!!

Nina our helper, so sweet girl, she loved so much this song and to be with us that she tried to sing it and did not want to leave us.She is in the end of video in pink sweater.What a lovely girl.She is so kind, communicative and smart.We were amazed to see her ability.If I could, I would take her to home.But she is 18 years old.

During our time with older girls we had a blessing.We were going to one more group of kids.But director came into group and asked us to sing more songs.It was blessing that government officials could hear Gospel songs until they were there! Wow! Isn`t amazing officials could to hear about Jesus through songs?

In the end we gave chocolate candies and bananas to girls too.

 

 

It sadly was to hear that several more girls were transfered here.It is so and so sad and heartbreaking to know and see it...

But in same time, we had amazing and blessed time!We praise God!We would love to thank you very much for prayers!We are sure God bless us because many of you pray and lift up your hands of prayer and your hearts to Jesus and ask Him to help!Thank you!Just thank you to be blessing for us!
We very hope very soon to visit them again but it after New Year.

Do you see these sweet helpers? They are orphans who were flying to us to help, when have seen us, when we just arrived to an orphanage.They all are so happy to see guests and every one wants to help them!

God is so good to us!We could to visit kids and spend time in 4 orphanages this week!

About one visitation with small ones I already has told you here.Next several days one after another Thursday, Friday and Saturday we have seen children in different orphanages last week.Really, I do not know when I will update, because the Lord has blessed and we are going  to visit 3-4 orphanages next week again! Is not amazing? Is not a blessing from the Lord Jesus?Wow!!! We are sooooo exciting when we can visit them and bring Gospel! We are so happy we can commit the command of God, "visit the fatherless... in their affliction".

I will try to tell you about all blessed meetings we had as soon as I can.

Here I would like to share with you a visitation we had on last Thursday and many blessings we have. 

We had such blessed time with kiddies!They all are so sweet, kind and wonderful!We all BOM team, children and staff of orphanage has rejoiced by blessing time to be together!It was amazing time!We are so happy and praise the Lord!

And yes, we spoke here about obedience to God, telling  them story about Jonah.

We played same games and sang song about Jonah and  have  memorized same Bible verse "to obey is better than sacrifice."1 Samuel 15:22(b) :)

Children were very active and were very exciting to hear story and gave right answers on questions about Jonah during game!We admire by them!They are very and very sweet kids!

Here Nadya is telling story about Jonah, to be exactly about whales.That they are big and incredible creation of God.

Next game, where children gave answers on questions.
The first question was, What is the name of main hero? Next question.What God has told to Jonah to do?

But they were impressed more by next game.Oh, they all wanted to catch fish!It was so and so funny!

This orphanage has 190 kids!Trust me, that is not easy when a hall is full of kiddies! But not all children were with us.As this program for children, we took since 1-6 grades, they are 6-12 years old.Next time(we do not know yet when) we will come only to teens age 13-16 years old and will have more seriously time with them.

But really we had a great time with kids! :)

After this game we have learned Bible verse with them.They did it very well!

 We sang with them.

Ok.Next picture is where smallest orphans of this orphanage have received special gifts to them, colorful pencils(crayola) in plastic box and nice lead pencils.
We thought to give only for smallest ones, to first grade.But we have found there not many kiddies, only 7 of them.But we had 15 boxes!So, we gave to second grade too, for a class!Oh, children were so happy to receive these gifts!Thank you to those, who has blessed so precious and cute kiddies! Are not they wonderful?

On next picture you can see  school supplies we have presented to this orphanage.We are so happy we could to do it!The administration of orphanage were amazed and so and so thankful!They told, "Oh how we are happy to have you!" It was so nice to hear it! But we sure, we would not present these gifts to the orphanage without all of you.

We are grateful to ALL of you to share this need, pray for, donate, send boxes etc!We are so happy to have all of you, even we are far away but Lord spirit is one and everywhere.And we thank God to give you a wish to help orphans with school supplies! We thank God who works in hearts of folks and we admire by you!!!

The next blessing we have  Lord Jesus has blessed and we could to bless this orphanage by DVD player(on picture is in blue big box on right side)!Wow! They have jubilee 50 years of this orphanage this year!
They wanted to make a special day, celebrate it but they canceled it, because the teacher of music has died more than month ago and they could not find someone who could to help them.It is sadly.So, we could to buy special gift and have presented to the orphanage.They were very much surprised and amazed! And when we told them about school supplies too.They all even did stand up and began to applaud for us! We were embarrassed little. :) We explained to them, that All glory to God, because He cares about orphans and that He sent these gifts.

One more blessing we have that we could to witness about God to director of this orphanage.She is new worker there but old director he is on pension now.And we had such amazing time with her!Wow!Really she is very sweet and so kind woman. She loves children much and tries to care about them as much as she can.
Also she invited us as reverence of guests to their special day in orphanage that they will have in next month.She requested us very much and has let us know she will be happy to see us as special guests at this day.

Well, we could say nothing, even we would love to be there and it is such a blessing for us.Because we knew we did not have extra finances.And we had only for two orphanages which we were going to visit next several days.What we already did :)

This orphanage was last orphanage where we have presented school supplies.We do not have any more.Everything already finished.We need to help with supplies to 3 orphanages...

We even did not know where we will take finances to visit orphanages this next week.We prayed to the Lord and asked to help us in this need.Do you know what?That is amazing how Lord Jesus answers and blesses!He has sent even double blessing!Really I was crying to find out, it was tears of joy. God sent us $500 for school supplies and different needs of orphans!Isn`t amazing our Lord Jesus? He sends everything just in time!Wow! We are so blessed and inspired! Thank you so much for your prayers and gift of love!Thank you so much to those who sent us such GREAT blessing!We praise God for this blessing and answer of prayer!

It reminds me a Bible story when God has blessed widow, because she has fed Elijah.

"For thus saith the LORD God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until the day that the LORD sendeth rain upon the earth.

And the barrel of meal wasted not, neither did the cruse of oil fail, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake by Elijah. " 1 Kings17:14;17:16

Is not amazing story how God cares?Isn`t God`s miracle?God provides all time in time we can serve orphans and help in their needs.We are so happy we serve alive and amazing God!!!

We are so blessed to have so many blessings these days!

God has made better than we thought

I`m rejoicing to share with you a blessing we have!How is wonderful and good our Lord Jesus!God makes better when a human thinks something!And all things works together for good!

I love much this Bible verse! "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose." Romans 8:28

It`s a favourite one of mine.When i have heavy moments in my life, i read this verse many times, pray and meditate.It brings a peace in heart and helps go ahead and live for Jesus. :)

As i have told you before we visited 3 orphanages last few days.
Here i would like to tell you about our visit to an orphanage on Thursday, where are girls with special needs.
We were going to have 2 groups, with smaller kids and older .We worried much about that.How it will work out?Will we have enough strengths?
Nadya, Lyuba and Misha(head of BOM) were going to be with older girls.Me and Oksana were going to be with smallest ones.We worried much about older girls, because the 3 person for big group where usually 40-45 girls with special needs, it is very heavy physically.
For some reason(not so good) what has happened in the morning, we arrived to an orphanage an one hour later than we come there usually.As we had not much time to be with girls.The administration of orphanage let us have a time with smallest before dinner.Because after dinner they have a nap.
And after dinner we can have a Bible class with older girls, even they have nap after dinner too.

So we whole team, had a time with smallest ones before dinner and we all could to be with older girls after dinner! It was not need to divide our team, as we thought before.It was amazing time!

We did not get tired, it was not heavy for girls and for us too!We are so thankful to the Lord, He has made better than we thought!And we thankful to the Lord what has happened not good in the morning!God let it happened that will make better!We are thankful to the Lord, the administration of orphanage let us do it.The time with all children was blessed!

We have told a history to smallest ones about creation of God last time.This time we have told them history about first sin in garden of Eden.
We sang a song, have played a game and have made a craft with children during a meeting with them.

A game

We have repeated a last history with children about days of creation.

They should to show a picture(day of creation) they have chosen and will say what see on picture etc.

After that they place the picture on big sheet.There is a sticky scotch what helps to hold pictures.They loved much this game!

Also we have placed a small stickers on their hands.Oh, how they they excited by that!They showed their hands to caretakers and to us.They had jumped and laughed because of that! Think about it.A little sticker makes happy an orphan!

We have made a craft, apple with Bible verse in the end of meeting. We have used a foam sheets and wiggle eyes for it.

 

Children much loved to work with this material! They so much excited by doing it!Thanks so much to those who has helped us with foam sheets and wiggle eyes!It is big blessing to children!

I love this one picture.When smallest one check it out, what is that.

We were blessed by teachers who were on meeting and helped us with crafts.They liked it much too.As this orphanage has only several books and no has visualisation, teachers has told us.That is good we have made these crafts, they can use it on their lessons like visualisation for children, teach them math etc.We glad if it will help a little bit.

It is so sad teachers have not books to teach children with special needs.How they can learn, how they can develop, how they can do something if they have not books?
That is why we placed a chipin button again.We do not know how many time it will take...The finances we need now, because children already are at school and orphanages have troubles with many school supplies. We plead Jesus and ask Him to help with this project School Supplies.

Just in 30 minutes we came in to another class, there we were going to have a Bible class with older girls.We had perfect time with girls too!

We have told to them a Bible history about Joseph and his brothers.Also we repeated a song we learned last time with them, have played a games and made a craft.

Here after Bible story we have played a game to learn a Bible verse.

The whole class we divided by several groups.They needed to color by paint this "Joseph" who has a hidden verse, which was written white crayon on white sheet.You can not see it good.When they color it, they can read and learn this verse.The team win who will do it first.They liked to color it much!

This sweet girl has not fingers or some of them look like "fingers".

But she stitches, colors and can does some easy work perfect by these hands!

The end of the game.

We presented a bear to this girl.

She was so happy to get it! She had carried it, stroked us by this toy, has pressed it to herself.She did not leave the bear not one minute somewhere.

  It was her first big toy ever!Thank you to those who bless orphans by toys!

Here we made craft with girls.

Girls needed to put "clothes" on Joseph.They enjoyed to do this craft.

 Many of them were need help.

Next several pictures are life of these girls in this orphanage.

This is their bedroom, where sleep 4-10 girls in one room.There is nothing except beds.

This is the place where they wash clothes, clean teeth etc.This place is for over 50 girls. Can you imagine what a mess when they need clean or wash something in one time?

Here they wash their clothes.They do not have a washing machine.

Place where clothes dry.

Orphanage has dogs and cats.When clothes dry, dogs pull down clothes.Children do not have clothes pins in orphanages.So, after that it look like that.It seems that girls wash clothes often.Dogs and cats are everywhere in Ukraine. :)

When we were going come back to home, girls told us goodbye.They all looked over windows and had waved their hands.It was just awesome!And in same time heartbreaking to leave them here...

Girls all time wait for us.When we come, they all time say, we miss you much.Please, come oftener.They begin to hug and kiss us...It is so sweet.But so, so sad no one visit them...
