We are super excited!!!! God is soooo good all the time!!!

I'll start from the beginning. A few weeks ago, we were informed that we can no longer use PayPal. Oh no!!! Again??? As you know exactly one year ago, we had this problem. But thank God everything was decided by God's grace! We are so grateful to the person, who helped BOM with this issue. Our gratitude never will be enough!!!

So, when we were informed this news. I was ok. But the next day, the fear came into my heart. Oh, this sinful and weak flesh... Hundreds of questions were spinning in my head. What to do? Where to find the way? What, if this will not work out for us and many more. I felt so helpless. But I kept repeating in my heart, I should trust my God, it means He is preparing something special... I always remembered one of my favorite Bible verse (Romans 8:28)"And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."  I should trust, even it is difficult, even if there is no hope and no way out, I should trust my Saviour. Even it is not easy But I should. The next day, the perfect peace of God and calm filled my heart. I am so thankful Him! I "knew" that our Heavenly Father has prepared something special. But what??? I did not know what to do, where to write... There were some thoughts, but I felt that this is not what God wants for us... 

Thus we have for you a great announcement! :) We are so very excited that it seems that my heart will jump out of my chest and I want jump with joy!It happened so fast that I can not believe it! My fear about some of the issues have been completely in vain! That's what I was afraid or worried, God showed me mercy and grace. Through small details I see the hand and will of God in this matter! This has just blown my mind how God works!!! We are thrilled and so excited to work with our new partners and friends, Ting Ministris!

Dear friends, if you have any difficulties with the health, at work, housing, family, friends, neighbors, children, anywhere. Just trust Him! All work together for good!!! Our Heavenly Father is good and loving! He's an amazing alive God!!! We are so blessed and  humble to serve Him!!! Just tears. Tears of joy are streaming down my cheeks from the goodness and mercy of the Lord Jesus. My love to all ♥♥♥

ONE MORE WAY!

First. I came back from U.S. to Ukraine safe and sound! Yay!

Thank you very much for prayers!!! I was able to rest one or two days. And I started to do the affairs of mission as usual... So many things... I hoped to do blog posts being in US. But I have been super busy also! Ha ha! So, hopefully soon I will be able to give an update.

My love to all!

I come back to America!

Yes! Yes! You are reading correct! I come back to America! Awesome! I am thrilled and so very excited!!! This is so amazing blessing for Bible Orphan Ministry and for me personally!!!!! :))) God is doing amazing things!!!!!!!

It happened so suddenly! God began to prepare my journey before I was invited. I see God's hand in so many little things that encourage me and give soooo much joy! I dreamed to meet some precious people, who support BOM generously and became dear friends. God makes it possible! God led one family from Pennsylvania to contact me a few hours before the flights were booked! I was not planning to be in the PA up to this point. But when they contacted me, I saw and understood through some moments and details that was the plan of God! :) Wow! So many wonderful things are happening! Thus, I will be in California, Washington and Pennsylvania 3 weeks in November / December!! So exciting! New people, new meetings, new adventures, meeting with dear friends and donors, sweet fellowship... and so on... So, what will I do in the US? I will have a meeting with donors, BOM friends, share about our ministry and have a sweet time of fellowship with those, who have become dear to our hearts :) I`m so happy to celebrate Thanksgiving in America and curious how people celebrate it! ;)

We are so grateful to sweet friends and families, who make it possible! It humbles my heart seeing God's grace and mercy that we often do not deserve... His generosity and love is so great. Our thanks never will be enough. ♥

And little sad moment. I go back alone. Oksana twice apply for US visa already and was denied. :( You never know God's plans... But we have to trust God that His plan is perfect. "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."

Little by little, I began to prepare for the trip... It seems that my heart jump out of joy! I get nervous a little bit. Ha-ha! I have to do a lot work before I go! It remains less than 2 weeks!

I would be so thankful for your prayers, please! For my preparing. For my traveling will be safe and sound. God will touch hearts of people about BOM ministry. And His will would be made in every step and action there. Thank you very much! Your prayers mean so much!

They called him Yaroslav

This precious little boy, Nadya`s son is called Yaroslav. He was born 2 weeks ago. The little boy is at home a week already. He is absolutely healthy and growing fast. Nadya feels great also. Praise God!

Isn`t he precious and cute?

We are amazed by the goodness and mercy of God!

Nadya, the first person in the local clinic, who is having a big hernia on her back could have absolutely healthy baby and give birth safely. Wow!The very next day after the surgery, she had a caesarean section. She were able to stand up and take the baby in her arms.

Several months ago, it was a serious test for her family. Nadia had terrible pain and she could not move at all. An one and a half months she lay in bed and could not get up. Nothing helped her. It was so terrible condition she was crying and screaming in pain sometimes. Nadia said, it would be easier to give birth 3 times again, although it was a difficult first birth, rather than endure the pain in her back. :( The doctors could not and did not know how to help. They thought that after giving birth, she will become disabled and the rest of her life to hold in a wheelchair.

But God is so very good and merciful! Through many prayers He made a real miracle! Now Nadya helps mothers, who have a same problem. Who knows. Whether not for this purpose God made this miracle?

 "Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God."

A Great News!

We are sooooo pretty excited to share with you a great news and wonderful blessing we have! 

First of all, we all would love to thank you all for prayers! God is sooooo very, very good!!!! I even can not express what a great joy I personally have!!! :)

We feel so blessed! Really. We are so grateful God for all of you! His love is astonish and great! Your many messages how you can donate to Bible Orphan Ministry and how you can help with our issue, makes us feel humbled and surrounded by God`s grace and His mercy. We are so thankful for your efforts to help us! It makes me teary to see how God loves BOM... Thank you thousand times! 

So, we have a very big hope! There is a way. But it is need a time...  It would take us 2-3 months more. It is a long way for us. But it seems Jesus teaches us to be patient and trust Him more ;)  How we will serve, I have no idea but our Heavenly Father knows. :)

A time does not wait and our money is running out. :) We need funds to feed hungry young adults and families with little kids, we need funds go to the orphanages, visit precious souls in Children`s Homes and trade schools. We need money to help orphanages in their needs and needs of the young adults, give money for bus tickets they can come to church, help buy medicine, pay for a visit of doctor, pay rent for apartments and so, so many more...

So, we would be so very grateful for any donation and gift of love!To continue to show wonderful love of God and care for children in many orphanages and the young adults. To share the Gospel and give hope to many sweet souls in Ukraine.This is what God has called us to do but we need your help to reach souls and make a difference in precious lives. :)

Thoughts, impressions and attitudes from my journey to Ukraine

Brother Kevin spent several weeks with BOM. Here is what he says:

"Thoughts, impressions and attitudes from my journey to Ukraine: A mission trip to bless Bible Orphan Ministry’s missionaries and be blessed in turn by partaking in the joy and heartfelt thanksgiving of those they serve.

Not being my first time in Ukraine nor my first trip to visit Ukrainian orphanages I already had some pre-conceived notions and attitudes of what to expect in regards to the culture, condition of government ran institutions and all that the words “village” and “hospital” resonate to a Ukrainian citizen.

Having been a patron of BOM for a few years I had desired to spend some quality time not just traveling around Ukraine and helping at the institutions but gaining more insight and knowledge about the workings of BOM and spending time in Christian fellowship with my brothers and sisters.  After two unsuccessful trip attempts in 2014 thwarted by the war I was finally blessed to spend two weeks with BOM in September 2015; Praise the Lord!

Disembarking the airplane I noted that they did not lose my luggage. (A positive as last time it was lost for days and I never truly got it all back).  Waiting to greet me was BOM and Olga Kozac with the biggest smiles and joyful demeanors.  After many handshakes, hugs and photos we were off to a yummy Ukrainian café for some fine traditional food.

During my Two Weeks I had the opportunity to visit the mental institutions, create art and crafts with the children, feed Misha’s church, visit former orphans at the trade school, attend first bell ceremony, live like true Ukrainian in an apartment engulfed by a smoke cloud, experienced and cried with rest of BOM at “fine” Ukrainian hospital (A memory I could have lived without but God gave me anyways), Spent a blessed day with BOM and young adults exploring Ukrainian Culture, and performed counseling and prep talks with the young men. WOW it was a blessed two weeks that just flew by. It seemed I was there only for a moment and then I had to go home.

Some things that impressed me about BOM and Ukraine:

The example that Alla, Oksana and Nadia are setting for the young women by their modest dress and Biblical female roles they exhibit in their daily lives.

We were constantly smiling and laughing at the cafes almost to the point of rolling on the floor at times while other dinners were “enjoying” their meal in stone faced silence. (An eastern European trait)

Oksana’s unselfish unsolicited ability to help wherever she saw a need and her intriguing aptitude to soothe, love and entertain any baby or child regardless of its demeanor; which was a blessing to the young mothers who I could visible observe needed a break.

The large variety of sausages (50+), eggs (at least 20 brands) and bread at the supermarket. The variety of Ukraine food at the cafes: Salo, Varenyky, Borscht, Syrniki, Holubtsi…. I wanted to try it all but two weeks was not long enough!

Misha’s uncanny ability to navigate the “fine” Ukrainian roads, joyfully replacing a tire in a rain storm at dusk (all the while a crazy Ukrainian girl was running back down the road looking for the pot hole to make a photo). His inculcation of Biblical wisdom and his own life experiences in a reverent way that was uplifting and meaningful to the young adults, orphans and his church.

Alla repeatedly showed me her unwavering determination to help orphans and young adults by charging ahead to check out if what a director told us was true or just their version of the story’s. Chasing pot holes in the dark, inspecting outhouses at the trade school, inventing creative ways to present Bible stories to God’s children at the orphanages, counseling young mothers…….

BOM and the young adults treated me like family and they felt like family to me. They are true Christians not only in words but in their everyday actions always focused on asking God for direction in everything they do.  They are all constantly living by faith working hard to accomplish as much as possible with their limited resources.  I had the pleasure to often join them in prayer and thanksgiving as the physical, mental and spiritual needs of the young adults, orphans, and their ministry team are great.   

Departing Ukraine on my last day it was difficult to leave all of them at the airport. I dreamt for a moment to linger on there…… “Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your

life? It is even a vapor that appeared for a little time, and then vanishes away.”  I came seeking an impression and found peace, I came seeking association and found friendship, I came seeking acceptance and found the Love of Christ."

Adventures in Kentucky and Michigan

I am so excited to tell you the next part of my adventures! :)

From Texas I flew to Kentucky. I had to get a next flight in Charlotte airport. The landing in Charlotte was not very well. The airplane was shaken up and down, it was not fun. It was a scary a little bit because I have learned the information about airports, flights and so on before going to America. The most dangerous for flights are first 3 minutes, when it takes off and 10 minutes before landing. I did not afraid turbulence! At all! When it even started, I even was excited a little bit. "Yeah!!! Turbulence!!!!" I was excited as a kid. I know I was like crazy, but I wanted to feel how it is :) Also, I learned that airplanes never fall down, when is turbulence. So, it was fun. 

It was storming and raining at that day. So, the landing in Charlotte was not fun. I know, if I die, I will be with Jesus in the Heaven. :) But I prayed, "Jesus, please, I must landed to tell people about BOM. I must landed... I must landed". I prayed always. :) I am so thankful to Jesus it was OK!!! Now I am laughing over myself.

I do not know how many thousands pictures I made. In every airport and in every flight. I like to make pictures, even it is not professionally. But I enjoy. :)

So, I told myself , "Alla enough". But now I am sad a little bit that I did not make pictures of Charlotte airport because it is beautiful. Ha ha!

The Kentucky surprised me by its beautiful hills.

In Louisville airport met me Susan with Ukrainian flag and yellow and blue color balloons like ukrainian flag. It was nice.

She is amazing woman...Everywhere we go, she told about BOM. We go to museum, she says about BOM, go to a cafe she says about BOM. In EVERY place and EVERY person we met. Do you know what? She told about BOM and pass out the BOM tracts! What a wonderful blessing!

.Besides sharing info about BOM in a Church, I visited so many different places. There`s so much to explore not only in the cities, but around it. The area has such a rich history!

I had a privilege to visit Ashland, the Henry Clay Estate.Home of famous 19th-century statesman Henry Clay.

Gainesway Horse Farm. http://www.gainesway.com/ Amazing and shocking... So beautiful farm. I never thought that horses can be taken such an awesome care. :)

 Kentucky Horse Park. A 1,200 acres showcase of museums, galleries and exhibits dedicated to all breeds of horse. It is HUGE and neat place! I love it!

 I was so pleased and happy to see how shod horses! We came into the barn in time and it was so neat to see it!

Then on the way we visited one more private horse farm.The little foal was born just few days before our coming. So precious.

The castle on the way

I heard many times that kids and adults with special needs cared better in America then in Ukraine...I always wanted to see a special place, school, kindergarten or whatever, how it look like...

I was so and so blessed to visit Stewart Home School established in 1893! Wow! There are 850 acre such beeeeaaaautiful and gorgeous campus in Frankfort! It is amazing place for students of all ages with special needs! I was greatly surprised and blown away to hear what students do and how they live! I feel so blessed to see this wonderful place! While we have been talking with administration asking questions, and I shared info about people with special needs in Ukraine...The young man with Down Syndrome came into the room...It made me teary...Really. I do not know why. Or I felt so sad about kids in mental institutions in Ukraine or I felt happy for this young man that he lives in such beautiful place and he is well cared. I do not know. But then more and more young people with special needs started to come. I hardly kept tears. I was ready to go outside and sobbing. I remembered at once when I saw a blind man in Disneyland in California. Yep. Seeing him made me teary. I was so happy for him. That his family loves and takes care of him. These all makes me emotionally. Because, if you come to Ukraine, you will not see people with special needs on streets... They are abandoned and neglected...

Then I flew to Michigan. The airport in Chicago I found very pretty :)

I felt so emotionally to meet my sweet and dear friend Sabrina, who is BOM Donations Coordinator. Imagine, after many years of fellowship through Internet, Skype etc, you meet in person the family, who became so dear to your heart. Amazing blessing!

With a group of young precious people I visited Frederik Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park .The exhibition with many of butterflies from around the world.

In second part of the day we had a picnic! Yay! The weather was nice. I do not know how many, 35 or 40 precious people came to the park to meet me and we had a great time! How awesome!

I was so blessed to meet in person those beautiful families and their precious kids!We dreamed for years to see each other! Can you imagine how awesome was meeting and how strong hugs! Lol

Next day I came back home. It was so hard to leave everyone... I felt like my heart was somewhere in belly... Tears and again tears.

It was fun to see a train at the top there, in Detroit...

My huge airplane to Paris...It was very hard to leave America after such greatly blessed and amazing trip... But it took off about hour later...

So, it came more than hour later and I began to get nervous a little bit... Because I had to take a flight ticket to Borispol. I did not know yet how big is airport in France and how long it will take me to get to my next flight. When I finally took the flight and lady said that I should take a train to next terminal. Oh, no! I knew it would take some time... and boarding already began! 

I thought after train I will get to my airplane but... Oh, no! When I saw so many people going through security. I having experience a little bit after 11 flights. Lol. I knew I will be late. So, I asked security staff let me go earlier and not standing in a long line. Thanks God, they let me go! The terminal was so long! I had run like a crazy!

So, finally I was sitting in the flight, 10 minutes before taking off! Wow! Thank God, I made it! I was not afraid to be late for flight at all. I just did not want to wait for next one, because it was hardest part for me in airports wait for flights 3-4 hours. Oh. I did not want my friends in Ukraine worry about me. So, now I know what feel people, when your flight comes late and you need get to next one. Ha ha!

I could not sleep in the flight from Detroit to France and jetlag was not a problem for me at all.  Jesus loves me so much! :) When I came to Ukraine I felt great!

I was so happy to see my sweet friends and young adults met me in airport! We missed everyone a lot!

Also I know how it is, when aircompany lose your baggage. Ha ha! When I got the flight to Kiev from France, my bag stayed there. I had to go Kiev and pick it up in few days. So, I have quite experiences with flights. It is fun and I love it!

Arkansas and Texas

Hello Everyone! So and so many things have happened for last few weeks! I have so and so many exciting news to share with you! 

First one. I am in Ukraine now and came back safe and good. Yay! Yes, I had some adventures, when I flew through France. But about it little later :) Our young adults and sweet friends met me in airport and everyone missed me a lot.

Second. I would love to thank you ALL for prayers! I have had simply AMAZING travel to U.S.!  I know, I would not have so many such exciting moments and awesome blessings, without your prayers, dear friends! In every moment, I saw God`s hand and His presence. God has been so good!

So, after California I flew to Arkansas. So, what I did there? :)

I had a privilege to share about Bible Orphan Ministry on 2 church services. It was my first speech ever. I felt my English was terrible... but love of Christians and care showed the presence of God there. It touched my heart that many people thanked me for sharing about ministry. I met new wonderful brothers and sisters. :)

I joined to baby shower. It was sweet time with many ladies.

It was so awesome to see such sweet family Branscum, who visited Ukraine few years ago! Such a great blessing!We had such a lovely and wonderful fellowship during my stay there!

Also I met Kacirek family. So, so beautiful family... We had such a wonderful and lovely fellowship. Tina and Randy visited orphanages with us also and their charity Grace Haven Ministries helped BOM in several projects before.Mostly these precious kids are adopted from Ukraine. That`s why they are special for us :) It was amazing to see and hear what the Lord made in this family.

In Bentonville I visited the Walmart museum was so worth it and very educational! So, now I have idea what is Walmart ;) Ha ha!

What?! Adoption center for pets? I was greatly surprised to see it in pet store. It is so neat!We do not have adoption centers for pets. If you come to Ukraine, you will see on the street lots of dogs and cats. Everywhere. Hmm. I was curious to observe.

The lovely hospitality and love to Christ of Branscum family made me feel very sad and teary to leave Arkansas...I could not stop to cry for a long time. Craziness. Now I start do not like to say goodbye...

Then I flew to Texas. New adventures waited for me! :)

Oh, yes, I flew to Dallas through biggest airport in Atlanta. I thought I would be lost. But Jesus is good and I made it! :)  It was fun!
I had to learn how to use these huge and many screenshots to find my next flight. Now I know. Ha ha!

A family took me to Fort Worth. It is so neat place!

I love cowboys, western movies etc. One more my dream came true! To see real cowboys! lol. It was lots of fun!

                         

Oh, I ate fried pickles also!  It was kinda interesting.  I never thought you can fry pickles! It was fun.

Besides lots of fun in Texas, I had a privilege to share about BOM again.

In the beginning we had a furshet. And then my testimony and video about ministry.God was there! No doubts! It was blessed time. I am so and so thankful to dear friends, brothers and sisters in Christ, who made it possible!

The Reeves, such awesome family, with whom I was staying on the exact day we met 3 years ago in April, while they adopted a little princess!  Crazy right?!

And tears again...I cried like crazy one...Saying goodbye became such emotional moment for me. I did not want to leave Texas...Why it is so hard to say goodbye to beloved ones???Why?
