Meeting with teens

Last week the Lord gave the chance to us to hold a meeting with teenagers.We had great time!It`s the orphanage where typical children.We had a lot of cheerful time and the serious moments throughout the meeting.We sang together with children a lot, played and listened to the God's Word.One song they so loved that they asked to sing many times!That was wonderful time!

As we were going to have a meeting only with teenagers, we assumed that there will be about 30-40 children. But the Lord had other plan. Other children that younger age asked very much to be present at the meeting. We had no enough candies as we expected certain number of children.Our hearts was torn asunder, what to do? how to be? Later we solved this question. Thus we had exactly 90 children!Wow!What a blessing!

The Lord wanted that bigger number of orphans could hear the God's word and be consoled.We had such blessed time!!!

The hall was almost complete people. Blessing for us was to see many tеachers and workers of orphanage that could hear the Gospel.The God's plan ALWAYS is the best!!!We all were excited by our spent time so much!

Here is video one of our game.Children bound a balloon to the right foot. Then they divided on pairs. They shall burst a balloon of the companion and during the same time to save their. It was very funny to watch! They very much liked this game and were excited to play!It was so funny time!

We played one more game. Where blindfold children shall feed their friends who also was blindfold.

 This game was even more amusing. Was very funny to look, when they got to the wrong direction or instead of mouth got a cake to a forehead or an eye of the friend. All hall laughed loudly!It was soooooo funny! :)))

Except fun time, we had time when all presented in hall, could hear the Gospel. As we had a subject about friendship.What the Bible speaks about friendship, which we should be friends, whether we are good friends in relation to our friends etc. We told them great story of friendship about Jonathan and David. (1 Samuel 18-20)

When we arrived to the orphanage and prepared for the program, children asked: "Will we see a theatrical?" 

They told to us Bible stories about 3 young men in the furnace and about Jonah when we told and showed.We were impressed that all of them still remember these stories!That is great!!! Isn`t sweet?I LOVE when kids remember stories!

In the history of friendship about Jonathan and David we read. "Then Jonathan and David made a covenant, because he loved him as his own soul.And Jonathan stripped himself of the robe that was upon him, and gave it to David, and his garments, even to his sword, and to his bow, and to his girdle." (1Sameul 18:3-4)

We try to do the utmost that children not only would remember stories but that they would be impressed. Unfortunately we had no enough time to prepare this program as lately we are super busy. It was necessary to invent something quickly and being remembered. Therefore we found everything that Jonathan presented to David. When children dressed to play a role of actors in the history, they very much rejoiced. Especially our Jonathan when he had so many things. But what was his surprise that he should give everything to the friend David!He said:" That is a lot!" It was good experiense for him to be friendly. :)

"And it came to pass in the morning, that Jonathan went out into the field at the time appointed with David, and a little lad with him. And he said unto his lad, Run, find out now the arrows which I shoot. And as the lad ran, he shot an arrow beyond him. And when the lad was come to the place of the arrow which Jonathan had shot, Jonathan cried after the lad, and said, Is not the arrow beyond thee? And Jonathan cried after the lad, Make speed, haste, stay not. And Jonathan's lad gathered up the arrows, and came to his master. But the lad knew not any thing: only Jonathan and David knew the matter." (1Samuel 20:35-39)

It was such honor for our Jonathan to shoot the arrows! :) He was excited very much!

But not only our Jonathan shoot arrows. There was a possibility to teach and many other children how to start up arrows. They learned to shoot at the target that we drew.Wow!It was such exciting moment! All kids wanted to shoot arrows!

When children just to saw bow with arrows, they were AMAZED!"WOW!Look at this!May I shoot?" They loved it sooooooooo much!It was such perfect possibility to learn kids how to use the bow and arrows.We love it! We were excited and thrilled how they were happy by using the bow and arrows!That is not surprise.Where kids could to use it and learn???

Who got the closer to center of target, won a prize more expensively.Boys LOVED this game! :)

 But on it our meeting didn't end. The our Heavenly Father is good to us, He blessed and we could distribute to kids New Testaments and Bibles.

 Isn`t blessing that orphans could receive the God's Word?Now they can read and learn about God`s love, about His comforting, how to live Christian life and much and much more.

 We had such great and blessed time with teens!!!We hope, if God will allow, to visit them soon. We praise our wonderful and so good Saviour!

When we came back home, all road was laid a smoke-screen. Snow at last completely melted. All prepare for summer, everything remove and clean after last year. Therefore fields prepare for sowing also. In the woods and on fields burn out an old last year's grass that the young grass could grow and was juicy.Just wonder, whether burn out also old grass every year in the Spring in other countries? The first Birthday!

We dreamed and prayed long time that to have the Birthday holiday for orphans. We know on how many this day is important for them. It is very sad and heartbreaking that in their special day nobody pays to them attentions, nobody congratulates, no balloons, sweets, friends who share your joy and many another. Our desire and a request to the Lord, was to make this day special and being remembered in their life.

Do you know what? God heard our prayers! It`s something awesome!!!

In orphanages where we conduct Bible lessons, we each time take with ourselves toys or any gifts that to congratulate orphans. They very much wait for it! Often when we only will arrive to an orphanage, children already on a threshold say: "А I had a Birthday!" They wait for gifts and congratulations VERY MUCH!!!

But in our hearts we wanted to make something bigger...

Once we approached to administration of an orphanage and asked can we make Birthday party for boys?

Administration was very happy to hear that!So, boys had FIRST Birthday party!Can you believe that? Some boys are more than 28 years old...All orphanage came to see that.There were of 20 birthday boys.

We had fun time!Songs, games etc. Brother Misha congratulated them and told a well-wishing from the Bible.

It was sadly a little that boys had not a cream cake.Administration of orphanage is afraid that they will not have a trouble with stomach.So, boys had of cottage cheese cake.

But boys and staff were AMAZED by gifts!   With your support we were able to buy these gifts and have presented to children.And also sent beautiful toys by you, we could to bless them.

Our beloved boys were very happy and excited by their gifts!

Other 8 boys were sick at this time and could not be with us. :( But they also received their gifts!What a joy was there!

 The staff was VERY thankful! But we could not do it without you, friends!Thank you so much to bring them blessing and make their day very special!

The staff asked us to help with program to celebrate the next boys with their birthday.We have some ideas but we need God`s help and blessing.

We have decided with administration of orphanage to celebrate boy`s birthdays each 3 months.

But we need your help, sweet friends. Please, can you send toys here we can bless children? These soft toys are very expensive here.It`s unreal to buy.

We necessary different games or toys for boys age 4-30 years old.Boys age of 30 years old, same as they are 18 years old.So, that is fine if you would send them any game or toy for age of 16-18 years old.

Probably somewhere there are toys that aren't necessary to you or your children don't play them but they are in good condition. Or probably there is a possibility to your children to collect them at school or in church? We would be very grateful! And children which never received such gifts, would be VERY happy!!!Thank you so much for your help!We appreciate it very much!

Orphaned children received a blessing from the Lord!

Finally our beloved and dear friends, we can share with you one more awesome blessing!This week we were able to deliver gifts to one of orphanages!
I know that many of you look forward a pictures of happy smiles of kids when they receive gifts :)

This visitation was soooo blessed and amazing!!!We had a great time with children!

On first picture are gifts to this orphanage which were packed for each class(grade).It`s so many!Wow!We were excited so much!

Next several pictures are our Bible time with orphans.We talked about prayer with them.Nadya told them story about Hannah and Samuel.We had puppet show, sang several songs etc.

We played a game, where they gave correct answers to questions on Bible story.As we played game, to feed of Samuel.It was funny when they placed in wrong place the paper feeding-bottle because were blindfolded.Children were excited to play at this game very much!

And next pictures are which gifts received children.

These gifts for smallest kids, boys and girls age of 6-11 years old.There were in each gift necessarily toothpaste, socks, soap, undershirt and summer shoes. But other items, such as the book-coloring, a puzzles, a doll, rainbow game, a hairpin, a soap bubble etc. we  placed 2-3 things in dispersion, who what will get.Each gift was signed by surname and a class of child, according to the list that we had.

These gifts were for girls of older age, 12-16 years old. We have placed there necessarily items, such as: tooth-paste, soap, shampoo, a deodorant and summer footwear. And  hairpins for hair were different, who what will get.

In gifts for older boys, we placed for everyone, a toothpaste, soap, a deodorant, summer footwear and shower gel.Some boys didn't know what such is the shower gel. It was necessary to explain how to use it.

Next pictures of children are receiving these gifts. Were children happy? Absolutely!!! It was very joyful to see their shining eyes and lovely smiles.It was amusing to hear how they cried out "look at that, I have that or that!Wow!"

Older kids

Do you see these precious kiddies on video?They are smallest ones.It was sadly some that they could not be with us at Bible time, during the program.They had nap time and came later.

But how they were happy to receive gifts!

They were impressed and admired by them!

Children started at once to unpack and rejoice by gifts. Some started to start up soap bubbles. Girls shouted from delight that they have hairpins and elastic(head) bands for hair! There was so much joy and admiration! :)

Thanks sweet friends! Thanks to you, children could receive the most necessary. Thanks to you, children rejoice and receive so many positive emotions and admiration! Thank you for care of them and showing them God's love and mercy.I`m sure kids would hug you as they did for us.  :)

Administration and teachers of the orphanage were VERY thankful to you and rejoiced with kids.

But there is one more blessing.

Unfortunately many children couldn't be present during the program because many are ill now. Some children are in an sick-room(infirmary) of orphanage and some in hospital. But just in time we could bring them blessing from the Lord! Here I spoke that we are going to deliver medicines to an orphanage what we bought before. It was just in time. Now many children and adults start to have flu or cold :(

These guys just received medicines when we have come.

The medic, she was very grateful for this blessing. :)

Look at these precious kids happy by their gifts whom we visited, as they could not be with us because of their sickness.God has consoled them during their illness thanks to your donations and care.

Girls in mental institution received a gift!

Ok.Dear and faithful readers. We have sooooo many to share with you. I at all even don't know from what to start, that nothing to miss and not to forget as a lot of events lately happens here. Simply the head is swimming. But we are VERY excited, inspired and blessed by these events!

Three days in a row we visited orphanages.I will tell you later about these journeys also.Tomorrow we are going to a next orphanage. :)

Here I would love to share with you about HUGE blessing which was received by girls with special needs in mental institution and what a great time we had with them!

At the beginning as always, we had a program with them.It was wonderful time!

Puppet show.They LOVE it!

Object lesson with phone.They never have seen a phone before and could not tell what is it.We explain to them  and showed how to use the phone.They were interesting to check it out and gave a touch.

Nadya told a Bible story about Hannah and Samuel by very simple way.

After that we played a game "Feed of Samuel".

We learned and saw that girls don't know what such is a children's small bottle and what with it to do. We explained of. But here they learned to show where the kid has a mouth on the picture. Also that exactly there it is necessary to paste a feeding-bottle.

The first girl (on video) was very sweet and loveful. She huged the whole day and kissed us showing the love and gladness to us. She was so glad by our presence there. This girl with such open and kind heart to give her love and receive from a person.It simple is heartbreaking that parents left this sweet girl in this terrible place...

 The second girl very much liked to receive stickers. :)

There is other lovely creature.She so precious and cute!This little angel is very active and smart!She wanted to paste more feeding-bottles but we explain to her that not just you but other children would like to play too.She is so funny!  :)))

Girls love to touch or take a hand.It`s not surprise.In fact they do not have mommy or daddy who would give them hugs...So heartbreaking...

After Bible time we could provide them new summer footwear!Yeahhhhh!Finally these God`s precious treasures could to receive amazing blessing!

If you remember here I shared with you that somewhere on Spring we were going to bless girls by this wonderful gift.I can't send by words and describe you HOW girls were glad to receive this gift! How they were happy and sooooo much impressed!!! WOW!

It warmed our hearts and brought so very much blessings!We were impressed by their joy and happiness.

They couldn't believe that it is for them and several times asked again or this gift belongs to them. :)

We signed each pair of shoes by girl`s surnames that employees of the orphanage wouldn't be confused and would be help for them.

Girls were soooo happy that they even kissed shoes!

The check according to the list or all girls received footwear.

 

 Not all children received footwear because the sizes didn't correspond because employees of orphanage probably forgot about the smallest or gave not the correct sizes. But in any case, the Lord loves and cares of orphans! Doesn`t He? He blessed us with a donation for footwear to children.

 Yesterday we visited an one orphanage and on the way could visit this mental institution again, have communication with children a little and provide this footwear.

When girls saw us, they started to run to meeting to huge and kiss. It was so lovely. They asked. Will you come tomorrow?

Oh, poor kid.She was sick yesterday. :(

Thanks a lot to all who prayed and prays for that we could provide footwear to orphaned children. Thanks to all for your donations and sending of footwear. Thank for your great love, gentle care and kindness. Thanks a lot to all, make smiling these kids and bringing joy and hope to them!We are rejoicing and praise the Lord!!! Thank you making them such happy!!!

But our hearts are still broken to looking at their winter boot and coat.It is worn out very much and are in awful condition.

How this precious child can wear such awful footwear??? It hurts and many inconveniences!Oh, it`s terrible.

We pray that the next autumn we could bless them with winter footwear and outer clothing, jackets or a coats.

If the Lord gives you desire. Please, send outer clothing and footwear. As it is BIG need in all orphanages and mental institutions.Thank you for your wonderful care and Christ love!
